    What makes Jordan Cavanaugh such an interesting character is her past: she lost her mother when she was young and that has affected her whole life. She is on a never-ending quest to find out who was behind her mother's murder. This episode takes her one step closer to finding that out. Jordan investigates a murder - and eventually two murders - that take place in a psychiatric hospital. Suddenly she starts to receive things which are all connected to her mother and which also connect her mother to the hospital...

    At the same time Dr. Macy and her ex-wife are forced to think about the possibility of having a second child together. That brings back some memories from their past.moreless
