In this episode we go back to 1995 when Jordan wonders if being a heart surgeon is the right career for her. But after a patient dies on the table because of Dr. McCaffrey's negligence, Jordan realizes that it is always best to tell the truth, even if it hurts somebody.

We also see how Jordan met Garrett and the importance of honesty.

  • This takes you back to when Jordan was in medical school and how she ends up where she is today.

    8.9
    "Great"
This episode is needed for the background that is given. First about Jordan and who she was back then compared to who she is now. Secondly, on Jordan and Garrett's meeting and therefore their relationship. There is a tender scene at the end, where she gives Garrett the stethascope she has left him in her will. Jordan is drawn to the way Garrett performs his job, which is the total oppisite of her current boss, Dr. Elliot McCafferty, played by Zeljko Ivanek, in a great guest staring role as a swarmy doctor who puts himself higher than patients, the hospital, even the medical profession.

  • I thought that this was one of the slower episodes. Still not bad.

    "Good"
I thought that this was one of the slower episodes. Still not as bad as some other shows I have watched. The writing could be better and will as the show progresses. I am going to sya that as usual Steve Valentine brought character to the show. That's all folks.
