Goof: In the final scene, when the credits start rolling, Garret is drumming on his desk, but he is not holding the right-hand drumstick properly.
Woody identifies himself as being from Kewaunee, which is about 20 miles due east of Green Bay, on the shore of Lake Michigan. The accent he affects when lampooning his origins, however, is not typical of eastern Wisconsin, but is found in the far north and western parts of the state, along the borders of Upper Michigan and Minnesota.
Lily: I always fall for drummers.
Dr. Macy: Why would you want to have sex 6 times in one day? I mean come on we're people not Bunnies. Lily: Dr. Macy said Bunnies. (They all crack up laughing)
Featured Music: "How Are Things in Glocca Morra" by Wynton Marsalis "Get Down Tonight" by KC & The Sunshine Band "Upper Cut" by Doug Kasischke "Music" by Madonna "Erotica" by Madonna
Garret: I am a doctor, Jordan. I am not a cop. Jordan: Whatever you say Bones. Reference to the catchphrase, "I am a doctor, not a(n) ...", uttered numerous times by Dr. Leonard H. McCoy (a.k.a. Bones) on the original Star Trek series.
Jordan (to Garret): Not so tough are you now, Dirty Garry? Jordan is alluding to the movie Dirty Harry in which Clint Eastwood plays tough crime-fighting Inspector Harry Callahan.
Garret: Can you trace it's path? Nigel: I certainly can, Ringo. A picture of Garret playing drums was put up on a staff bulletin board earlier in the episode. Nigel teases him by referring to Ringo Starr, drummer for The Beatles.
Woody (to Jordan & Garret): You guys are like a regular Mulder and Scully! This is an allusion to the show The X-Files in which two of the investigative agents are named Mulder and Scully.
In one of the closing scenes, when Garrett confronts Ryan Wheeler, he remarks on the bandage on Wheeler's nose, "I like your new look - it's sort of Chinatown." This is a comparison to Jake "J.J." Gittes, the character played by Jack Nicholson in the 1974 film by Roman Polanski, Chinatown, in which he was seen through the latter part of the film with a plaster across his broken nose. The well-known actress Faye Dunaway co-stars with Jack Nicholson in the movie.
