Ben's grandfather dies unexpectedly and as he struggles to cope with the death, he butts heads with Richard, who has been assigned the case. Despite a lack of evidence, Richard is determined to see the assailant charged with murder. An external barrister is brought on to the 'Boltcutter Babes' case and requests Erin replace Lina as instructing solicitor.
