CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

"418/427" is not one of the more memorable episodes of the long running series. There episode is too formulaic. Too many old and tired cliches are used here. It could not have been more obvious that the FBI agent was hiding something. It also could not have been more obvious that the pedophile did not commit the murders at the beginning of the episode (Though he may be gulity of multiple murders committed prior to this episode.). Probably the only high point of this episode is Paul Guilfoyle's terrific performance. There are better CSI episodes. This is not worth seeing.

I decided to watch all the missed episodes and I was awarded this Ray-free episode. That's a big plus after the last one when Ray seemed to command Catherine(WHY they keep doing that? He is a rookie!). I liked this episode very much. The case wasn't anything new. We had pedophiles and kidnapped children on CSI more than once. But I liked it that it was so down-to-earth. After all these werewolves, vampires, sharks and dinosaurs it was like a breath of fresh air. It was rather obvious that the FBI agent was hiding something right from the beginning but still there were few nice twists along the way which made this episode very enjoyable for me. I didn't suspect the son to be mentally ill.



Paul Guilfoyle was excellent (as always I should add). I also liked Sara in this episode. She shown her famous compassion that was so important part of this character in early seasons but lately was a little forgotten.



In comparison to other episodes from this season this one was very good. Let's hope that the writers and producers realize their mistakes at last and finally decide to tone Ray down and focus more on the old cast and simple, ordinary cases. Maybe there is still hope for old good CSI to come back. Even is Grissom is still missing.

they did it again!!!, I mean... this time, the episode started as a great episode, very entertaining and very well acted, but after the first twenty five minutes, it became as boring and precitable as "11x03 blood moon" was. At this point, I think that the csi creators won´t be able to create good episodes again, in fact this episode wasn´t bad at all, but when you compared it with an episode from previous season, you really fell disapointed, so, I think csi is never goint to be what it was some years before.

This episode wasn't anything special, but it wasn't that bad at all. It was a filler episode, yes, but, it's not the first time and surely it's not going to be the last one.



Ray wasn't in the episode and sorry, but I didn't miss him. I don't know if it's the character or the ensemble cast. I knew Gauss hadn't done it and it was clear the FBI agent was involved. I have to recognize the good performances of the actors who played father and son. I thought they were very good, specially the young kid.



I liked how Sara gave Trent support and made him talk. She's always been like this and I'm not sure if Grissom would approve her doing this.
