In this episode of CSI, the following happens. We open with a college football coach waking up, covered in blood and bleeding. He goes outside where he is greeted by campus security. He then collapses and dies. Soon the murder is linked to the case which Sara and Greg are working on. Soon Sara and Greg's case is solved, but now the team have to work out who killed the coach. The murder weapon is then found, with a finger print on it. And so the killer is questioned and arrested. Overall an ok episode, although I think the story could have been told better.

Even when the show is in its 10th season, I believe that it still has it when it comes to the stories. Its weakness may be the cast changes, the departure of two important characters and I think someone strong is missing there.

The events of this case were surprising, although again two different cases end up becoming one. The motive of murder is sad, since this young mind having a whole future ahead commits a murder for 5 minutes under a shadow.

Again it was nice to see Sara, a character I found weak, she always had good chemistry with Greg and they make a good team.
  • A well-balanced episode. Teamwork eventually. Ray has become a normal person.

This is the 5th episode, and I'm glad to finally see some teamwork in play. Love the scenes they interacted whether they were on the same case or not. Catherine eventually acted like a boss that had inputs to the cases. Still have problems with the funny side of Ray... his witty comments couldn't make me grin! I just wonder why the writers didn't make Ray be the boss in the first place. Grissom has weaknesses, as well as Catherine; but Ray is simply invincible. It's weird to see the trilogy preview that Ray, a CSI(2) associates with the bosses of Miami and NY lab.

So is this the last episode that we have Sara in the show? Please hurry up and build a post-Grissom team, we have to move on...

Two different cases.. one current murder.. another old case of girl drowned in a car. And the story really sets off as those cases are not connected but with one simple twist, they are. I really loved the way episode was build up and how everyone got enough screentime to have their part. I was little worried at first, at the start of this season, that we have so many labrats and other people, not CSI-s as main cast as I was not sure how much screentime could they get but it looks like it is working out quite nice.

This case was really cleverly twisted and I liked how there were so many layers, so many potential killers who all had access to the house and it was all about figuring out the right motive, specially as they had the right guy before the end but they did not realized it. Without all the facts, you never get the whole story. And the ending was good too.
  • After coaching his team to victory a highly respected college football coach is brutally beaten to death. Elsewhere a car reported stolen six months earlier is found at the bottom of a nearby lake....with the body of a young woman in the passenger seat.

Defintely the best episode of the season so far. When it was announced that Laurence Fisburne was joining the cast of "CSI" there were doubts among fans if he were up to the challenge. I believe this episode will erase those doubts. Fishburne gives his best peformance to date. Hopefully he will keep up the good work. This episode is also one of the best written of the series, with a solid storyline that keeps the viewers interested and entertained. Some of the dialogue of the suspects was a little cheesy, but it's a minor flaw in a great episode.
