The CSI crew is stumped when they discover a disembodied brain at a crime scene where all the other brains are accounted for.

  • A neat episode with some very dark humor and clever plot twists. Four brains and three bodies leave the team playing a grisly game of Find the Pea.

    "Great"
This episode proves that the old original is still the best. Despite the fact that key characters have been replaced, the show has maintained its quality.
In a real-life CSI lab, which is a civil service organisation, there would be hell to pay if Catherine were not promoted to head of the lab by now. Helgenbarger has soldiered on through cast changes and budget cutbacks and has kept up her end nicely. Danson restores some of the quirkiness that was essential Grissom, but he has his own spin.
Eventually, the team solves the case and puts the right brains in the right place with their usual style and panache. With this show, the destination is always sure. The fun comes in getting there.
I have seen CSI cross over with Miami, and Miami with New York. Will there ever be a New York-Las Vegas connexion, or did I miss it?moreless

    • D.B.: What color is the horse? (none answers) Really? No, it's a famous story. A traffic accident near a ranch, right? Several cars and a horse are involved. The horse is severely injured and the officer at the scene wants to put him out of his misery with his .357. Unfortunately, the bullet ricochets off the horse's skull and hits an officer standing nearby. Kills him dead as a doornail. And when this is all reported to the chief, the only question he asks, "What color's the horse?" There were seasoned investigators all over that scene for hours, taking notes, gathering evidence... but nobody noted the color of the horse.
Nick: If you miss one small detail, then who knows what else you've missed. 'Cause you never know what's important.
      D.B.: Cool story, huh?
Hodges: That is a good story.
