Grissom without a beard, at last!

Nick without hair, what a waste.

Warrick, Catherine and Sara at least haven't changed, but Brass is cold as ice in this first episode of season 7, whilst the crime scenes were quite dull the end scene with Catherine was excellent and a great way to leave it for the second part, but I was very disappointed with the scenes with Grissom and Sara. Now that they are together, the writers obviously want to keep them apart. I expected them to be at the crime scene together and instead of him saying "bye" to her before she leaves his office, why couldn't he just have said "See you later"? Season 6 had some dull episodes, but when you start off with an episode for a new season, if it's not exciting (and this episode really wasn't all that exciting) then I can only hope they have something good coming up in the upcoming episodes.
  • I\\\'m the disagreeing opinion here. I\\\'m glad I watched Greys and taped CSI. If they\\\'re going to write episodes like the first 3/4 of this one with cases that go nowhere, then CSI deserves to be beaten by the competition.

    "Poor"
The first 45 minutes was of Built to Kill were boooorrring. The cases were not worthy of a season premiere, but then the cases in the season 6 finale were nothing to write home about either. They seriously need some different minds in the writers\\\' room.

The GSR moment with Warrick present was completely shades of Friends revisited. The writers are making my worst fears a reality and playing to the teenage GSR fans. It came across staged and immature to me. Have the writers no respect for Nick and the fans of Nick? They put him through all kinds of hell over the years only to wipe it out by having him be an idiot? He abandoned Catherine with the first blond Paris Hilton wannabe that comes along. No wonder the fans at some CSI boards hate him so much and call him shallow. He\\\'s smarter than that. And the bald shave looks terrible this time out with the extra weight. Grow the hair back quick!

So what was worth seeing? Two things.

Brass and his reaction to being \\\"rewarded\\\" for being shot. I love the explanation about not wanting to display a plaque to his stupidity on the job. And I raved when he got the tattoo.

And the Catherine storyline at the end was beautifully done. She won\\\'t be able to catch the guy because she did the processing herself -- that\\\'s the tragedy -- but then who could think straight after anything like that happened to them? Marg did a great job.

    Oookay!! Here we go...

Both cases were great. I loved the Cirque Du Soleil mystery and the suicide/murder mystery. The Cirque Du Loleil managed to capture all the glamour and glitz and mystery of Las Vegas as did Sam Braun's new casino party. This is what is called "good use of your setting!" :D :D Both were intriguing albiet not as complicated and imaginative as I've come to expect... CSI has set its own bar quite high... :D

But now for the important things!!

I know not everyone is going to be with me on this, but I loved the little hint of GSR with the soy burgers... This was a great scene and a wonderful way of the writers to reward GSR fans, but not shove the relationship in the face of those who hate it. I thought they struck a nice balance between the two... Kudos to the writers!! ;)

I'm also going to go ahead and say I'm not loving the shaved head on Nicky, but I don't totally hate it either... If he had come in with the shaved head and the return of the pornstache? Then, I'd probably have a few things to say!! But George Eads is a great looking man and I think he can pull this look off... And hair *does* grow back!!

Poor Catherine... She's gonna have it rough. But she's such a strong character, I look forward to seeing her conquer these hardships... We're rooting for you, Cath!!

Warrick... When are they going to give this man some character development? Please, oh please, tell me it's this season!! I've been waiting for Gary Dourdan to flex more than his pectoral muscles (ba-dum che!!), and I know he's got the talent... Greggo seems to be working the sideburns. Nothing else to say on him... He didn't really get a lot in this episode either, but from what I hear, our little Greggo will have his moment in the spotlight! Looking forward to that!!

Also we MUST have more D-Rob!! I expect him to shine bright in the upcoming Toe Tags.

And kudoes to Louise Lombard who was added to the opening credits.

I love the mini-model murder at the end... It's shaping up to be a very intriguing case and I can't wait until next week!! :D :D Rock on, CSI!! I eagerly await what you have in store for us this season... :D
  • A girl is found dead backstage of a cirque du Soleil show and a a investor in a new casion is found dead, possibly suicide.

This premier episode opens the seaon very effectively, even if the two plots were a bit obvious, the clinghanger worked.. I can\'t wait for the second part. Grissom has finally cut his beard, its about time!! Sara and Grissom play with us and it works.. I am so glad Brass made it and is back after all the show would not be the same without him , but hey he just had massive surgery and he is having a tatoo done??.. Anyways..

Good news about Louise Lombard, who deserves to be in the opening credits even if she could have had more lines tonite. Can\'t wait for next week..
  • OMG this was a great episode!!

They started this season off great! There used to be a Cirque de Soleil show on a few years back, and I watched a bunch of episodes of that, then there was a special episode of it on the Discovery channel, now this! Wow. The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that they got rid of Nicky\'s hair (AGAIN!!) and that Greg only had one scene! Though, I am very happy Grissom got rid of his bread. That dang thing made him look ten years older than he was.

Poor Catherine! When I read the episode summary and it that she was in danger, I figured \"gun point\" kind of danger not \"Date Rape drug\" danger. I hope they catch the b@$t@rd that did that to her!!
  • Great to begin 7th season opener!

Why does everything seem to happen indeed to Catherine as if she was raped or not. As a circus performer is found dead and naked. While Catherine and Grissom handle that part, the others handle the part about one of the owners shot to death on the roof where they were having a party. At least we know that Nikc & Catherine do have a social life outside of work.
  • Why does everything always happen to Catherine?

    8.5
    "Great"
I was actually a little disappointed in the crimes for this episode. There was an accident and a suicide. I mean, I know that accidental deaths and suicides do happen, but for an entire CSI episode to not have one murder (except for the case at the very end), it's just a little odd, is all I'm saying. And for they think the suicide is murder because "how many suicides do you know where the gun is still in their hands?" and it ends up he has some rare condition... I like that. I mean, it seems kind of far-fetched, but it can happen.

Cirque du Soleil = very cool. My sister says that they have a person who can sit on her own head. I mean, she sits on her own head! You can't beat that. But for that girl's death to have been an accident, because she was leaning too close to the edge during the moving platforms... I don't know. I was hoping for something a little darker than that. It is CSI.

Speaking of dark, this episode did seem darker than usual. Apparently, they're going to start doing that. They do work the night shift.

So was Catherine raped? I guess we don't know. But why does everything happen to her? I mean, seriously. She gets attacked and her ex-husband dies and her daughter's life is in jeopardy in a car caught in a flood and really...what more can they do to this woman?

What was up with all the corpses having their eyes open? Creepy to the max.

Overall, a very good episode, and that's just the first half. I can't wait to see where they take this case that they ended with. Scale model of the crime scene? Freaky.
  • We're back in Vegas with the 7th season of CSI.

    8.3
    "Great"
We’re back in Vegas with the 7th season of CSI, starts anew with this episode and despite what the trailers of this episode said that “It was one of the most anticipated season premiere”. I didn’t feel that way with this premier like I did with last year episode because there wasn’t as big unanswered questions that needed to be answered like the 6th season premiere had to it. To me it felt like a normal season premiere for this show and I thought that it would be a regular old one, but toward the end of the episode I was happy surprised with how the episode ended, with a two part episode, but this isn’t the first time that this show has pull one of these out of their hat.

It was the ending of this episode with saved it for me, seeing Catherine have a lapse in judgment while in a night club with a co-worker is very believable because a person that while taught to kept their eyes open all of time can’t do it all of the time and most of the time it ends up with a person getting robbed of their physical goods. This wasn’t the case with Catherine, because she might of gotten date rapped and while I do agree with Catherine being embarrass at what happen to her, but I have to said Catherine, get over it, because it showed that you are human that can and will make mistakes in your life.

Also the tiny replica of the crime scene is scary because it clearly shows that whomever killed that guy has a great eye to detail, is very intelligent, and above all in very patient with things. I love to see how this new story ark is going to be planed out, is it going to be a one shot episode story or is going to be an on-going story ark for the series, like CSI:Miami, and CSI:NY did last season.
  • CSI Rocks!

    "Superb"
I'm so glad that the new season of one of my fave shows has started. I loved everything about the episode except for one huge thing - I really, really could've done without the whole music bit with John Mayer. God, that guy writes/plays/sings the gayest sounding garbage I've ever heard. His voice is so aggravating, all nasally and creepy. Plus, he's pretty weird looking. So, yeah, I hated that part. But I did like that we were left hanging with the dead guy and the model of the death scene. And what the heck happened with Catherine? I'll be watching next week for sure.
  • What a way to start the season!! First appearance of the miniature killer. Poor Catherine is drugged...

    10
    "Perfect"
One of the best ever CSI episodes. John Mayer also performs in the club at the end of this episode. Legend guitar player and singer and he plays 2 of his best eva songs!! Poor Catherine is drugged while Nick is dancing and she wakes up in a motel naked and alone in a bed. It's so sad when she is in the bathroom trying to do her own rape kit..... Weep weep.....xx Grissom also finds a rockstar Izzy Delancy murdered in his home and a miniature crimescene left beside his body. This is the main theme for the whole of season 7. Overall a perfect episode and Part 2 was even better!x! 110%
  • Introduction to the hallmark of season 7: The miniature killer ...

    9.3
    "Superb"
In this episode we are introduced to what will become the hallmark of season 7: The miniature killer… The CSI’s investigate the murder of Izzy Delancy, a rock star found dead from blunt force trauma in his kitchen. Grissom discovers a miniature replica of the crime scene with all the fine details matching the real crime scene and the blood pool in the miniature being real blood from the victim. Jim receives a commendation for his bravery and he gets a tattoo near the scar that the bullet made when he was shot. A man is found dead on the night that Sam’s Braun casino is imploded and later, Catherine gets drugged at a bar. One little hint about Grissom-Sara relationship and that Grissom cares for Sara is when he brings her a veggie burger …

  • A busy night in Vegas as the team investigate a murder and a suspected suicide, linked with Sam Braun and his dirty work.

    8.8
    "Great"
What a great way to start the season. The return of Guest Star Scott Wilson made it that extra bit more interesting. Although I found the cases themselves quite boring, the usual banter between the characters is what made the episode worth watching. Overall I wasn't that impressed with what made out to be just another episode until the last twenty minutes hit our screens, then things started to spice up, and it became a premiere worth watching! Not only was I impressed with the chemistry between Cath and Nick when dancing together, which is a prize we don't see often enough, but to have them dancing to special guest star John Mayer made it even more spectacular. This was just the beginning of the excitement of the episode however, as Cath goes to get a drink, she walks right into some first class acting, as the going gets tough once again! The mood of this scene is so perfectly set by John Mayer's "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" song, as we see Cath begin to pass out. It's when she wakes up, however, when we see some of the best acting I've ever seen on this show. The sudden shock of 'why have I woken up naked in a hotel room?', she doesn't know what happened to her, but the self processing made it that bit more emotional, which is nicely contrasted with the introduction to a new case, something even more exciting I'm sure.
  • "The reason I watch this show" As each new season of C.S.I. begins it just keeps getting better and better.

    9.1
    "Superb"
The new epsisode of season 7 of C.S.I. is a wonderful start for the new season and as I guess that each epsiode will get better than the last. As a circus fan this is one epsisode I be watching and Grisson looks better without the beard instead of looking like a old man in previous epsisodes.
  • Without giving anything away, this episode starts with a showing of Cirque du Soleil (a fantastic show if I ever saw one). We find someone murdered at a show & see Catherine's abduction while out a night club with Nick. Really can't say much else.

    9.3
    "Superb"
I totally loved this episode!! Could CSI seriously improve it's show? What a great way to intertwine Cirque du Soleil into the plot with Catherine's abduction... WOW!! I sat there watching with full attention for the full hour of this episode. At first I thought... Catherine... abducted?? NO WAY!! But I just kept watching & it just kept getting better. A fantastically written epsiode & Jerry Bruckheimer just keeps getting better & better. This season should definitely be a great one & if you need proof, just watch this episode, the first of the season. I really can't wait to see part 2.
  • Exciting, Entertaining, Enthralling just 3 of the E words that come to mind.

    "Great"
A great opener to a new season of a fantastic show, i was unable to look away. the opening enterage was a little slow to begin with but although slow it was exciting with plenty to keep the veiwers mind occupied. the suicide plot i found supprising as normally anything that looks like suicide turns out to be murder! although neither case seems to be totally solved and i look forward the the second part to see what happens, i think i\'ll find that the mistake that the corener made with not taping up the gunshot will become pivitol and the supposed suicide will turn out to be murder. difficult to review without seeing the second part which i intend to go watch straight away!

    Spoilers!

Pretty nice episode, i love it that Jim gets a reward for his bravery and that he wants nothing to do with it :)

It's not the best ep i've seen though, far from it actually, but still nice, the ending made it worth the watch really...

I was waiting for the series to come back at Sara and Grissom... but apart from the little part with the vegy burger, it didn't come!

Grissom: "I brought you a vegy burger"

    Sara: "Thanks"

    Warrick: "What about me?"

Grissom: "I didn't know you were here"

And then the eye contact! The eye contact! It was all that showed the luv of the previous episode! haha

The cases were nice, but it was very confusing, i thought that both murders were committed in the same building... o_O

Pretty cool that in the end... neither of the cases were murder cases, though... i really liked that.

Sara: "so, what do you think? Homicide or Suicide?"

Dr. Robins: "at this point, either side"

That made me chuckle hehe :)

Anyway, the ending, making it a 'to be continued' ep, that really looks VERY interesting...

One thing, though... Why Catherine... why her again?!

She's going through so much already!

I knew it was gonna happen! But it's still not cool that it really did!

I hope she'll get the bastard who did this to her!

Now, about the new case... boy oh boy, i can't wait until next week! I'm really looking forward on seeing this one... it promises to end up in my top 5!

PS: quotes might not be a 100% exact, sorry for that.

This was a very good episode. I liked the cases a lot, especially the Circus Sol Le (sorry I don't know how to spell it!) one, and I also liked the bit at the end with Nick and Catherine was kind of cool, too. I liked how the writers threw in something personal that happens to Catherine -- her getting abducted -- other than just cases in the first episode. I hope they do that a lot this season, that would definetly be nice. Very good episode overall.
  • An episode of a crime drama where no actual \"crime\" took place

    7.9
    "Good"
Alright, I love this show to pieces, but this episode really didn\'t do anything for me. There were two stories and no actual criminal activity (unless you could that breaking and entering thing). It seemed like the entire episode was just filler for the last five minutes. Oh, and bringing a guest musician in to kill ten minutes with a performance is just lazy. Don’t be that show, CSI
  • CSI is back!!!

    9.5
    "Superb"
This episode didn't have a lot of competition to be classed as a good season opener (Bodies In Motion does not count as competition). Even without its competition it was actually a good episode. The case was strong both at Cirque du Soleil and at Sam Braun’s party, John Mayer was grande, Sara and Grissom still appear to be in a relationship, Brass still rocks, and it ended with something only slightly shocking.

Seeing Cirque du Soleil in the episode brings with it the regret that I didn't go and see it when I was in Vegas. The case that it brought up was good but I can't actually remember that much about it... The case involving Sam Braun was interesting. Sara's "my supervisor" scene made me laugh as did the veggie burger scene. I liked when Brass made fun of Sam, alluding the many other episodes where he always seems to be involved with bodies. John Mayer is totally cool and I liked his appearance in the show. Though I don't ship CatNick I liked the scene between Catherine and Nick. Catherine supposed rape didn't deliver the emotional *GASP* that is should have as she remained in the motel room after doing her own rape kit and you could tell in the bar that there was something in her drink. Pretty good for the new season though.
  • LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I do love CSI alot. But this episode just made it even better. The whole Cath getting raped/her thinking she got raped/actaully not was crazy, but I loved it becasue it's CSI. I felt so sorry for Cath. I loved the whole Nick/Cath dancing scene! I thought it was super cute. I am rating this after the second part aired, so I already know what happens, So I can't say what I want to happen in the next one. I would like to say that this was a WONDERFUL start to the season, and I hope to see alot of other amazing episodes this season. GO GSR!!!!!!!!!!

Wtf, the end shocked me. Big time. :O Didn't see that coming!! Gosh, poor Catherine. I hope she didn't get raped, but everything looks like that of course. Why does everything always happen to her? :(

I loved the beginning with the Cirque du Soleil, the scene with the singer and the dance of Nick/Catherine. Hee, I love those two together!

The two crimes were a bit boring, they could stretched those till the second part, but well. No big deal. I hope Part 2 mostly deals with Catherine. I'm really looking forward to next week! Just saw the trailer for 7.02. Woah! :O

PS: What's up with Sara/Gil? You didn't notice at all, that those two are together. Or had something, dunno.
  • Welcome back CSI

    "Superb"
I really loved this 7th season start. Great scenes with the spectacular Cirque du Soleil, so coloured, impressive technologies to create it.

The main case was nothing special, while I was watching I did\'t understand why they made a two part episode...and here comes the final 15 minutes...Catherine that finds herself in a room, discovers she was raped, anguishing...and the new case for Grissom, who examines an exact replica of the crime scene he\'s investigating on...egg or chicken? I can\'t wait to see how they\'ll make this end next week!

About Grisson/Sarah relationship I have to say that they aren\'t a good couple IMO, I liked a lot more seeing Grissom having affairs with lady Heather but hey, no series is perfect...
  • A great start to the new season, laced with the fanfare of Cirque de Soleil, hint of growing relationship and a mistery to unfold in the next episode. Can't wait for the next one, the part two of this great premiere.

    9.0
    "Superb"
CSI perhaps started as a geek crime series, but it evolved through time. It was smart and always improving writing that transformed the blunt scientist into intriguing savant, the college boy into a man in blue, the gambler into a family man, the geek into a field agent and the strip dancer into an able leader. You've got to hand it to them for pulling this transformation through without a glitch, leaving the seeds of their original egos untouched. The premiere features subtle hints of relationship growing between Grissom and Sara, some spectacular scenes by the Cirque de Soleil and a mistery involving Catherine waking up in strange places. Designed well to keep you on the edge of the seat until next week, it also includes a mini emotional story with a closure and a hint that says it all without the words by interlocking rings, which is really a nice touch. All in all, it's a very good start, so thunbs up for the CSI premiere and hope more great stuff comes from their writers.
  • I really feel so bad For Catherine. Yes everything does always happen to Catherine and Nick. I think it's because Marg Helgenberger and George Eads pull it off so well.

    9.5
    "Superb"
I did really enjoy the episode. I have to admitt the whole time I kept on focussing on Catherine and Nick scene and the Scene where she was drugged then assulted as I read a spoiler a couple of months ago and when was it going to happen I definetly didn't expect it to be only at the last 5-10 mins so throughout the episode I was preocupied by when this all was coming down.

I was really excited about Cath and Nick being out and dancing together I think they're so cute together and I certainly hope they will be paired up. I think one of the best things that has happended to Catherine was Warrick getting married so she could move on. I never thought Warrick would be good for. I always thought her and Nick were meant to be. I'm glad to see that some people are finally starting to see what I see. I was however pretty dissappointed that the writers put Nick as an insensitive male in this episode. The Nick we know and love would've never left Cath alone in a bar for some blonde bimbo. Nick is a man of substince he's not shallow the way the writers put him across. I'm not saying that the whole assult thing was his fault he did ask Cath a couple of times if he was sure. They still should have showed him after his dance with the Bimbo looking for Cath.
  • The return of CSI

    "Great"
Ok. I\'ll have to admit I missed the last 3 episodes from last season. I didn\'t want to watch this season until I watched the other 3 but I missed the repeats as well and I watched this episode anyway. Bleh.

I thought this was an ok show. The fact that the alleged suicide was actually a suicide bothered me a bit. It looked like the guy\'s friend might be guilty and I am usually weary of going with the obvious or going with the one who says, \"I want my lawyer\"; but the look on this guy\'s face made me think that maybe he was the murderer. Then to find out that the other guy had some rare disorder that kept the gun in his hand...well, that was weird. What are the chances that the person that commits suicide has this disease and ends up with the gun still in their hand?

The girl that accidentaly died...that was a lame storyline. The most interesting part of the show was when we see Catherine has been drugged. Nick is off dancing with some chick while Catherine is in trouble. I wonder if Nick realized she was gone and if he went looking for her. I guess I\'ll have to wait for part 2. I\'ll assume Catherine was raped because she actually saved evidence from her body and she was also crying in the shower. The miniature copy of the crime scene was weird as well. I can\'t wait to see who this person is. Who would take the time to create a mini crime scene with such precision AND use the blood of the victim in the replica too???? And when I say \"person\" I mean, I believe it could be man or woman. I really don\'t like it when on a show they always refer to the alleged criminal as \"he\" or \"him\" because the alleged criminal could just as easily be a female. But that\'s just my pet peeve.

Can\'t wait until Monday for part 2.
  • A little slow in the beginning. But I can't complain! The final scenes shocked me. I never though that was coming. Can't wait till next weeks episode!!!!!!! Why can't they leave poor Catherine alone!!! :(

Great episode! I never saw it coming. AT first it was all good. A nice Catherine and Nick outing, suddenly takes an unpleasent, unexpected turn. I mean Catherine getting roofied and waking up in a motel room. I heard that something was going to happen to her,but i didn't think that would happen. Nick is going to feel bad....if he ever finds out. It doesn't seem like Catherine is going to tell anyone soon, since she hung-up soon as the crime lab answered. If you didn't see this episode you have to at least the last 15 minutes. Not to mention the great Sara and Grissom moments. HA! I can't wait till next week its killing me!!!!!
  • A perfect way to start the season. After waiting for months, CSI is back, and more exciting as GSR is now revealed, and there is no longer an episode without it.

CSI is finally back, and I am so excited! This is the episode we have been counting down to for months, and we got that GSR moment we have been hoping for: YAY! VEGGIEBURGERS! Poor Cath, though, drugged and raped in the first episode of this season, but that won't be the last of her worries, as the season continues, Catherine will have a lot more bad luck thrown at her. Brass has recovered from his injury and isn't proud of getting it, but he tattoos the date of the accident under it. Sophia has a spot in the opening credits, and everyone else is pretty much the same as they were last season, ESPECIALLY Grissom and Sara. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!! GSR.GSR.GSR.GSR.GSR.GSR.
  • They're back!

I thought this was one great season premiere. The cases were interesting, the circus and that last part with John Mayer was really cool, and true to original CSI form, they already had one of our beloved CSIs in danger. I wonder what's going to happen as the season progresses, I can't wait!

As for the Grissom/Sara thing, I like the way they treated their relationship. This is a forensic procedural, not a soap opera, and it would be so out of character if the show focused on what happened at last season's finale. I think that veggie burger and the exchanged looks between the two is enough to show that there IS still something going on between them. They are so cute together. ^_^

I noticed that Louise Lombard is now in the opening credits. Good for her! I kinda like her, actually.

And it's good to see teddy bear Brass up and about. I gotta agree with Warrick, he did look like he was about to puke when he was receiving that award.

The crime scene with a replica was freaky (and a bit impressive) in my opinion. I think I spent a few minutes trying to figure out which came first. I'd like to think the crime occurred first, but how could someone have the resources to make an exact replica of the crime scene? Unless, maybe the whole thing was premeditated to the last detail. I gotta hand it to whoever did it. That's some patience and hard work there. Oh well, I guess I just have to wait next week.

Now let's talk about Catherine. She's my favorite female CSI in this series, and it just sucks that she had to become a victim. I think it's safe to say that she her drink had been slipped with something and she was taken to a motel and raped. I couldn't help but hug my pillow tight as I watched her taking a shower. I guess whoever did it was either stupid because she's a CSI and she knows how to gather evidence (she even had the presence of mind and the creative resourcefulness to process herself), or he knows what he's doing and wants to play with her. I just hope they catch the perp.

All in all, this was one great episode! I can't wait for what else CSI has in store for us fans. ^_^
  • I think its apparent that the show is beginning to move away from what it stayed faithful to for over 5 seasons. Which was crime solving in the most unique and intriguing ways.

    "Good"
Don't get me wrong. This was by no means a bad episode. I watched from beginning to end wondering what was going to happen. It just seemed to me that the actual crime solving aspect of the show, which was so appealing and attracted me to the show in the first place, took the back seat in this episode. I guess it was bound to happen. I mean, look at the facts, both of the crimes were solved a little bit after the half hour mark. Then it moved to the whole bar incident thing with Catherine which I thought was horrible. I mean, she was drugged and raped. That kind of writing belongs in fan fiction, not in a series that has, until now, refrained from those kinds of plot lines and stuck to the crime drama aspect of it. Its clearly evident that the writers are now attempting to appeal to the whole "shippy" aspect of the characters lives (in other words, Grissom and Sara), which is a shame. Because I am a huge fan of the series, and I will still continue to watch the show every thursday. I just hate to see this great show reach its conclusion, only to have strayed far away from the premise that allowed it to have such longevity.
