  • Brass' daughter is as tough as Brass, and likes to push people.

In this episode, we meet Brass' daughter Ellie. She's tough, she's on the wrong side of the law, she has an attitude problem and she's in the center of a crime involving counterfeit money, mules carrying drugs, an abusive boyfriend, and a a Treasury Dept. Investigation.

Ellie is found out not to be his daughter--call it the Milkman. It's clear this gal has issues with her Dad, and she's taking it out on him by messing around. She even gives Warrick Brown a lot of grief, saying things like "You've got this hot Lenny Kravitz thing going on..." and "Will you... fill me up, Warrick?", much to Warrick's discomfort.

No backstory is really given on what brought Ellie to this place. Was it an underlying suspiscion she's not Brass' biological child? Was it too many late nights he was out investigating crimes and not paying her any attention? We even see Brass drop a few tears at the end of the episode and we wonder if Ellie will show up again.

Not a filler episode, but Revaling a kind side to our otherwise hardboiled detective whom we all hate to love.
  • the reason I say tear jerker is because I really did cry at the very end. The Brass and Brass daughter Ellie moment moved me greatly.

SO the show begins with a guy standing outside a casino with a couple. The guy is trying to get the couple to cash in $2000.00 worth of tokens in the casino for him. Of course the tokens are fake but the couples tell him they will anyway. The couple gives the guy a $1000.00 down so he will be satisfied with them going alone. Then the guy pulling the token scam gets shot right out side the casino.

Grissom puts Warrick in charge for the night. Of coarse Warrick is a little worried what Nick and Sara are going to think but Gissom says he picked Warrick and that is all they need to know. Nick and Sara are already done processing the scene by the time Warrick comes to help. They tell him about the evidence they have collect and he instructs that they get the body to lab with the other evidence. Sara says "who died and put you in charge." Warrick says "Well he didn't die." Word of advice Warrick next time be a little soother.

Dr. Robins finds balloons capsules with cocaine in the dead man stomach. They know this means that he is a trafficker, transporter or mover.

They find Ellie Brass the captain’s daughter's finger print on a plane ticket found on the dead guy. They bring her in for questioning and discover she is trafficking for the dead guy.

After questioning Ellie Brass chases down her boyfriend. They bring him in for questioning also. Nick and Warrick take apart the car where they found Ellies boyfriend(which is Ellies car). They match the tires to the tracks at the scene. Brass is later found in Ellies apartment without Ellie but with her boyfriend who is shot with Brasses gun. Brass remembers going in and looking for Ellie and then her boyfriend hitting him over the head. It turns out that Ellie never went home after she left Jail that is why Brass never found her there. Then they find that Brasses gun has blood from someone else who turns out to be the partner of Ellie and her boyfriend. He is the one who shot the guy from the casino and Ellies boyfriend.

Sara discovers the money given to the dead guy by the couple is also fake. So Sara questions the couple about the money and the husband tells her he knew it was fake but didn't know what to do about it. Sara suspects that the couple are involved in a counter fitting operation. so she does more investigating and discovers the couple is Special agents they are testing cops to see if they would take the money and run or do what Sara did. Going to the feds right away. Good Job Sara!!!!

The very end shows a very nice scene of Brass and his Daughter Ellie. He tells her she is great and deserves so much, she says she knows and is working on it. She decided to go stay with her mother and brass is happy to hear that. Very nice part. You must watch
