    Hi!

I have a question about episode 52; The Execution of Catherine Willows (season 3).

I was so sure that that episode continued in a much later episode.....??

Did it? Or did it end there forever with that killer?

I was looking in the episode list, but maybe someone in here knows what I'm talking about.....=)

    K.

Yes, it continued in season 5 with "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?"

Ok, I have a question. In Play With Fire, when Sara is about to eat her lunch, then looks up and sees Grissom and starts to follow him, is she about to ask him out to dinner then, or is she doing something else? Or do we even know? That always confused me...

It's something we'll have to work out. I always thought that she was going to ask him out and he was too busy and had so much to do she couldn't speak to him in private so she gave up.

    Found it.

    4x01 - Assume Nothing

WARRICK: Need some help with that?
    CATHERINE: Help with what?
WARRICK: That weight on your shoulders.
    CATHERINE: That obvious, huh?
    WARRICK: Yeah. What's up?
CATHERINE: (shakes her head a little) Oh ... Sam Braun.
WARRICK: Mm-hmm. I heard about that. He made his bones in Vegas. I mean, what do you expect? The guy's bulletproof.
    CATHERINE: I'm not.
    (WARRICK sits down.)
WARRICK: Want to talk about it?
CATHERINE: Sam told me it takes a lifetime to establish a reputation and just a second to ruin it. When I suspected that Sam was my father, I didn't go to him. I didn't go to Grissom. I went to Greg and had him run a DNA test.
    WARRICK: On who?
    CATHERINE: On me.
WARRICK: What'd you use as an exemplar?
CATHERINE: Blood evidence from his case.
WARRICK: That's why they kicked it.
CATHERINE: Yup. And I'm just afraid.
    WARRICK: Of what?
CATHERINE: (she shakes her head) A backlash.

It was the episode "Hollywood Brass" and a lot of people thought Nick said it but he was back in Vegas. It was some police officer who was on the squad in Hollywood, he was talking about the murder suspect's apartment.

I remember she shoots someone, I think it was in Strip Strangler, so she carries a gun.

Catherine does carry gun. Just not all the time, and she does shoot someone in Strip Strangler. Grissom never does except in the first few episodes of the series, and in he has one in his case in "Jackpot." Warrick, Nick and Sara almost always have a gun. In "No Human's Involved." Hodges asks Greg what kinda gun he is gonna carry, Greg says police have guns, so why should he. I think for a CSI carrying a gun is optional.

I was my understanding that Grissom always carry a gun he just keeps it in his case. Maybe I'm wrong though...
