  • At an area college, a female student falls to her death from her dorm window. The death is initially ruled a suicide but Grissom's team determines that the death was murder. The investigation leads to two people Sara would rather forget.

This is not the best episode of CSI but it does have its strong points which is why I am giving it such a high rating. The investigation is well written and held my interest throughout. The actress who plays Hannah does a very good job here like she did in her first appearance on the show. The viewer is amazed by her intelligence and her commanding presence and also angered by the fact that she defends her brother gets away with murder. The part of the story concerning Sara's departure was not very well done, but this episode works.

You Want A Summary? Well, Hannah West Comes Back, Brilliantly Played By The Extremely Talented Juliette Goglia, Ronnie Is Ditzy As Ever, Sara Leaves. GSR KISS!

Hannah West, from "The Unusual Suspect" (Season 6) returns. As does her brother Marlon. A girl in college, Kira Dellinger, gets pushed out of a window. Sara is not exactly cheerful, and loses her cool when interrogating Hannah, who's the actual killer. All the evidence is against Marlon, and in this case Hannah doesn't help him out. He's frustrated, knowing that Hannah knows he didn't kill Kira, but it will be impossible to actually prove it. So Marlon hangs himself, and Sara is forced to tell Hannah her brother killed himself. Hannah cries and says Marlon can't leave her all alone, and Sara has to comfort something that's a cross between a cold-blooded killer and a grieving little girl.

After that, Sara walks into the hallways of CSI, and kisses Grissom, who's in the middle of talking to Hodges. Sara then disappears to "bury her ghosts", leaving the team nothing, except a goodbye letter for Grissom and a "GOOD LUCK" note for Ronnie.

VERY, VERY good send-off. I loved Juliette Goglia as Hannah, and the letter written by the great Jorja Fox herself is just proof of how talented she is. There's one thing I don't get though: How did Sara get into Ronnie's locker? They're called LOCKers for a reason. Besides this minor goof, "Good bye and Good Luck"was one of the very be st CSI episodes ever. And definitely the saddest.

this episode was another great one i was gripped by the story from the beginning. i always enjoy episodes when they bring back characters from previous ones and tie up lose ends. this one was especially well thought out, i actually found my self feeling sorry for a killer. even though he had killed in the past watching hannah set up her brother for something she had done made me hope they proved him innocent. i am glad they gave sarah dignified exit it would have been a shame if after eight years they had made her exit tacky. saying that though i must be one of a hand full of people who wont miss sarah, i just felt that the character didnt bring as much to the show as the others. her side story lines were never that strong, other than her story with grissom i strugle to remember many if any. i hope that they wont leave grissom moping about her leaving for to long and just get back to what csi is all about great crime drama.

Best episode ever, if only for the fact that Sara "Gap Tooth" Sidle is finally gone. She had become quite an annoyance over the past few seasons with her snotty, know it all attitude and I must say I was hoping she would get left out in the desert in the season premiere. Perhaps Grissom will become less of a bore now that she is no longer around to drag him down. Hopefully if a new character is brought in to replace her, he or she will be a lot more interesting than Sara ever was. Thank goodness she is finally gone.

This did not happen I'm just pretending that this episode never happened nope it did not happen. This is stupid for so many reasons.First after she kissed him it's not like he wouldnt follow her into the locker room.and if Grissom was the only home she had than the natural human instinct would be to cling to that, not run away from it.The one and only reason for this episode is because Jorja Fox wanted to leave because if these characters were real there is no way in hell that that would happen. But I think they could have done better they could have just had her leave the laband not Grissom. I'm not watching anymore and I may just pretend the whole 7th and 8th seasons did not happen Poor Grissom .If Sara ever comes back he may not want her, cause this has been what he was afraid would happen since early on.But that would keep them competing with Greys Anatomy and that is really the only thing the writers and producers care about at this point.oh well it did not happen in my mind so there's nothing more to be upset about. The only two reason that this even got a 1.4 score is because of the scene with Nick and Greg and gothness, and because Sara did say she loved Grissom.
  • Hopefully not gone for good! Gil's heart is broken!

This is a send-off of Sara saying good-bye. One of the original cast members on here since it premiered seven years ago. And now, it is like saying good-bye to a family member. As she questions her job and also her future. Especially one with Gil. As she has helped him find a personal life for the workaholic. We find out that Greg goes through a goth thing to get girls. While Warrick is having a having a rough time sleeping. That he has to take sleeping medication in order to sleep. But Gil you can tell is one broken man. When Sara says good-bye to him. Nobody I don't think could take her place despite being a supporting character. But also it has to do with seventh season's cliffhanger and eighth season's premiere that had to do with it.
  • Sara leaves, but not for good.

Here it is, the episode that was almost inevitable. Sara has decided to leave, at least for a while. Things had been building up for a long time. Physically, emotionally and spiritually exhausted, you could see it in her face and her behavior. Burn-out for sure. And with the return of Hannah and her brother, that was simply the straw that broke the camel's back. Sometimes, you just have to run away and give yourself time to think. The kiss was sad and wonderful at the same time. She just didn't care who was around when it happened. Poor Gil. He didn't know what to say or do in front of the others, especially Hodges. The letter was poignant. She was afraid of meltdown in front of him. She will return, after all, she said yes when he proposed to her; and the letter never said otherwise!!
  • Please come back Sara!

This is the saddest CSI episode ever. I mean it, if you ever liked Sara Sidle as a character, you will cry. Seriously. Hannah (from that over case...the prodigal child who made everyone very confused) returns, as does her brother, with another mind-bending whatsit. The actress did such a good job portraying her, and i guess Karma will out, as her brother dies in the end. Sara is increasingly angsty in this episode, and strangely unemotional, seeing as there is a domestic abuse case, something that she always reacted strongly to. In the end, she gives Grissom a kiss (yes, we get a KISS! a proper GSR KISS!) and leaves. Ok, so i didn't think the leaving was very realistic, i mean, where are her clothes? what about money? Does any person just walk out of work, get a taxi and leave without saying goodbye? Alright, Grissom does get a goodbye kiss (a KISS! ohmygosh, some actual lip-action!), but no words and a letter? I think some of the story had something to be desired (like something that could actually happen? hello?), but overall i did love the episode. Please come back Sara, it just won't be the same without you!
  • Goodbye Sara...

A great episode. I had already known Sara was leaving in Mid-November, but it was still a good episode. A girl is seen dead and it looks like it was suicide, but she is linked with Hannah and her brother, who in the past committed a crime, but got away with it. That little girl, Hannah, was such a brat, but a very good actress. I felt bad for Sara because the little girl kept fooling around in questioning and I felt like it was such a crazy situation. In the end, the brother kills himself after Hannah set him up. What a creepy kid! Sara leaves..for good.
  • And Sara is gone...

I know it was coming and I am not sure knowing it made it better. She has been the reason for me trough the years why I have watched it. It was beautiful episode but I feel they could have done it better - the ending was superb and it saved it to me - I cried.. too much I think.. and the story made me angry. Hanna - she was disturbing even in the last episode where she was but now - she used to be a clever little girl who helps his brother but this time she wanted him only for herself and was ready to kill everyone else to get that. She had change for evil, if it could be said. And the way everyone else are powerless in front of her - that made me angry and I understand that Sara was upset too...

But yes.. the ending was beautiful.. and the way it ended... I will remember this episode for long
  • Sara is gone :(

Hannah is back, that little girl that pretended to be the one that killed the gilr in the shower, when was actually her brother that did it.

But this time, she is framing her brother for something that she did, since he was starting to have a life besides her, she got mad.

That didnt ended up good, since he killed himself in prision.

Sara had a really hard time dealing with all that, and with the last cases she been working on, so she leaves !!!! :(

The main story on this episode was good, but the most important story was Sara's goodbye.

She was my second favorite character and she will be missed :( Grissom will be all alone again. Not sure if was her time to go, but... i will have to deal it.

This was by far the best episode of the season. It was a classic one that lived up to the hype it was given in previews. Sara says goodbye! She reencounters Hannah and Marlon (from season 6) and knows that she has to finish what had been started two years ago. Only at the end of this one she can't handle the outcome. At the very end, the most pivotal part in the entire episode, Marlon kills himself because Hannah set him up for murder and told him it was because she loved him. Hannah was actually enphatuated with Marlon and knew that since she was his sister she could never be with him forever. Sara has to tell Hannah that he killed himself which a very hard scene to watch and then she breaks down herself, walking into the lab and planting a very passionate kiss on Gil, in front of Hodges, then turning and walking away. I think it was the perfect way for her to exit. It was so sad and realistic at the same time. It is the only time viewers hae every seen Gil and Sara kiss, so it might as well be the last time they are together on screen. Kuddos to the CSI writers!

Finally! Some of us have been waiting for Sara to go for many many epi's and we finally got our wish! I'm sorry to all of those Sara fans but that's not me. She was always very annoying and I hated the storyline with her and Gil. I did however Love this plot line. I liked this case last time it played out. A young girl admitted to a crime she didn't commit to get her brother off for murder and is now framing him for the death of another girl. The relationship between brother and sister was always a little strange and now we see that sister is more then just protective of her brother she's totally in love with him. She figures out that he'll never love her like she loves him so she figures he'll be better off in jail, that way she'll be his one and only. But she's very wrong about that, and brother kills himself. Although sister is never convicted for the murder and we're left hanging there a little. Sara is at wits end and finally decides she's had enough. *yay!*

For an exit show I think it was well done. I just hope no one else leaves!
  • A fitting, albeit sad, departure for Sara Sidle. But at least it leaves room for her to return, hopefully in a more upbeat episode.

Beautifully done episode but very sad. Jorja Fox was amazing(again!). I would have given it a 10 but I'm still depressed. The Hannah West storyline was great; I liked her and Sara's last scene together. Great performances by both actresses. I was hoping for more interaction with the other CSI's and Grissom's follow up after the kiss was a little off, but overall it was a very moving and believable episode. I felt Sara's pain throughout and especially at the end. The letter with the voice over was truly heartwrenching. Please come back, Jorja! The fans, and Grissom, need you! I still am hopeful for that happy 'ending'!

Brilliantly written, directed and acted. The story unfolds as Sara comes to a crossroad in her life with a case she's working on, a case from the past brought to the forefront once again. In other words another ghost for her to deal with. The pain builds inside of her until it comes to a head and she realizes that it's time to move on if she wants to keep her sanity. The touching moments between Sara and Grissom reveal their total depth of commitment, love and respect. A bond that is about to be broken. Touching portrayal by Jorge Fox.
  • Amazingly frustrating and beautiful at the same time. Has to be one of the top five best episodes of CSI, maybe even in all of television, the acting was incredible!

I really like the episode, mainly due to Jorja's fantastic acting *she better get an emmy for this!!*

I thought you could feel Sara's pain throughout and speaking from experience, she portrayed someone suffering from it very well.

When Sara put her boots in the trash, filled with norm, it became clear that this wasn't the same Sara as before. The scenes with Sara alone walking along the corridors*SFX/LFX were fantastic!* only heightened her disillusion felt. It was like she was hearing what people were saying but not listening to it.

I think this is when Grissom clearly, understood something was wrong, and i think that some other people realized it too, i mean Ronnie wouldn't know because she didn't know the old Sara. When she walked away from his office, and turned her back on him, i was so glad she went to apologize to him. *Least he won't feel like it was his fault as Sara clearly tried to make sure he was okay.

The domestic abuse case- well Sara was on another planet when this was going on! Maybe she was getting flashbacks of her past, and just had to get out of there, but who knows? all i took from it was that Sara was distracted.

Then the West's. When Sara first met up with Hannah, Sara totally just fell apart. She knew right there and then that Hannah had something to do with (SP?)Keira's death. When Sara was determined to get a court order from Brass, it was uncomfortable to watch, poor Brass!

Then when Sara wanted Marlon to help set-up Hannah, that was totally not Sidle-style but oddly comforting!

The interrogation with Hannah reminded me of Butterflied. Watching the scene in front of him, i think that it was there and then Grissom's fingers clicked, and he connected the dots, PTSD.

Just like in Butterflied for Sara, as she watched on, and realized Grissom's feelings for her.

When Sara delivers the news to Hannah that Marlon has died, its filled with contradicting emotions. First of all, Sara feels no sympathy for Hannah, having the courage to call her ''weird'', then she hands over the photo of dead Marlon-which sets Hannah off into a burst of tears, which made me, and probably Sara realize that Hannah is just a kid and now she has no one. I thought that it was great how Sara didn't know whether to hug her or not...

When Sara walks up whilst Grissom is in mid conversation and kisses him...hot-but sadly melancholy. I mean that kiss was filled with so much emotion- i just hope we get a fantastic reunion!!:D:D:D When he doesn't follow her, WTF Grissom! you know she would never normally do that, especially in front of Hodges- the gossiper- and he knows that she is OOC. He can be so dense sometimes!

I was glad that Sara gave that ''good luck'' thing to Ronnie, when you start a new job you need someone there to stop you from giving up. and Ronnie is totally oblivious to life.

The letter was beautiful. I mean yes, it was sad, and nearly made me cry, but for anyone who didn't like it, imagine the letter had no ''i love you'' or no ''i will miss you with every heart beat'' - it could of been a lot worse. I honestly and truly felt that Sara was sorry for leaving him when she mentioned it in the letter. She never once tried to hurt Grissom in this, as after she realized how she was behaving, she went to apologize to him...

I really don't think any other actress could have pulled this off...it was really well done and i loved the return of Hannah. Hannah is like Sara's all-time nemisis- the only one Sara cannot get behind bars by using her brain and somehow reminds you of minisara gone wrong... Sara's disillusion is totally what it feels like, and you just cannot talk about it with anyone, write it down, yes, speak = no way. Obviously i am gutted that Sara has left Grissom, but if Goodbye and Good Luck had to be re written or something, i would not like it. I totally thought this episode was fitting for Sara leaving abruptly.

Wow. That's all I can say. I've always disliked Sara a little bit, which is why I'm so surprised that I liked this episode. Grissom and Sara were excruciatingly cute, and I LOVED their letter. I actually watched the clip over and over until I had the exact words. I know, I'm a little obsessed.

"Gil, You know I love you. I feel I've loved you forever. Lately, I haven't been feeling very well. Truth be told, I'm tired. I'm so sorry. No matter how hard I try to fight it off, I'm left with the feeling that I have to go. If I don't, I'm afraid I'll self destruct, and worse, you'll be there to see it happen. Be safe. Know that I tried very hard to stay. Know that you're my one and only. I will miss you with every beat of my heart. Our life together was the only home I've ever really had. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love you. I always will. Good bye."

Just a little excerpt from what I submitted & hopefully what will get approved.

Can you really blame me? :D
  • Poor Grissom.

    "Perfect"
Wow, Hannah really needs to get over herself. Yes, you're just literally a kid in college and that a majority of the student population envies you, but really, stop letting it get to you. Poor Marlon getting caught up in her crazed world again.

Ronnie is cute and innocent. I think Sara envies that. I think Ronnie has a lot to see with the job. Seeing Sara look on with indifference as that husband attacked her wife in front of two cops was pretty much a dead give away of what was going to happen at the end of the episode.

My personal thoughts were that Sara did what many CSIs and cops do and let the job get to her. You'd think that being with the man of her dreams would get her to relax and actually see that there's more to life than work, take-out, and a police scanner. I feel so bad for Grissom. There was a reason he never let Sara get close for six years of working with her and the end of this episode was that exact reason. I'm definitely psyched for the next episode. I wonder if Sara's gonna make a return to the series or not. The playing of the lights and making Sara and Grissom a centre of some of the scenes was just fabulously well done
  • This is good-bye to Sara Slide.

    9.9
    "Superb"
This was the final episode of Sara in the show and it went off with a huge bang. It's hard to believe she's going to be gone for now on, she's been on almost every single episode to date!

Anyhow, while working a case, a clue that was left behind by the murderer links back to Marlon West, a teenager that was tried for murder back in the sixth season but was esponged when his sister steps in and convinces the jury he didn't do it even though he did it. But things get complicated for Sara when Hannah reappears as well, and even possibly may be the murderer.

The ending was a bit slow, but the message was clear and sad. The acting was great and it was good to see two past enemies of the CSI team return once more.

I wonder how everyone is going to act next week with Sara being gone now.
  • Sara says goodbye!!

    "Perfect"
In the final episode to feature Sara (Jorja Fox) she faces an old enemy in the form of 12 year old Hannah who along with her brother again seem to be linked to a murder on campus. It was a very interesting way for the Hannah story to come to an end and although you did feel as though she got what she deserved you couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for her. Sara's final scene in the lab and her goodbye was just perfect. Without saying anything she kissed Grissom and just walked away and you could tell straight away by the look on his face he knew that she was leaving. Although it was a fitting exit for Jorja and her character Sara, she will be missed hugely from the show as she has been one of the main reasons to keep watching over the last 8 years.
  • Sara leaves... for the best

This case was very creepy. Hannah comes back and I still don't understand why Sara took the case.

I don't know if Sara was even ready to come back to work after what happened to her. That was very serious. She should've had stayed behind in this case because Hannah knew exactly which button to push to make Sara weak and vulnerable.

The best thing that could've happened to Sara was quitting. She couldn't deal with anything anymore; her reaction at the scene with Rony about them coming back later for her body was hard but true. If she had stayed, it would've been worse for her. And just like she said it was going to be bad for her and bad for the rest of the team, specially Grissom.

Both opening and end scenes were played out very well. The letter to Grissom was just beautiful.
  • I'm sorry to say it - but FINALLY Sarah is off the show.

    9.5
    "Superb"
Don't get me wrong. As a CSI, Sarah is as good as any of the other guys. But as far as side plots and interesting personal life, she's an absolute dud. I think she's been boring for quite a long time, and even when they've given her space for side stories, it's not been terribly interesting. The only exception to that was when she was trapped under the car in the dessert - I admit to being interested by that storyline (even if it was awfully similar to Nick's kidnapping, and not the best ending to the miniature killer storyline...).

We knew a few episodes she was leaving, really. The Go-Cart scene a while back was very symbolic of her not being "part of the team" anymore (everyone, including Grissom went on Go-Carts while she watched). From there it was just a matter of time, really.

I know quite a few people will be sad by her departure, but I'm not one of them. I'm hopeful of new and fresh blood coming into the show and giving it a bit of a lift. By the 8th season, there's no shame in needing a lift.

Once again, a wonderful episode. This one was sad the whole way through. Hannah's brother hung himself in jail? Right? And he was the only thing Hannah had and now he's gone. And seeing Sara show her the picture of the crime scene and seeing Hannah grabbing the picture and sobbing on the ground. That was sad to see. And the end... Very sad. I loved how the letter was well written. Like saying that Grissom was her one and only and a real home she'd ever had and how she will miss him with every beat of her heart. And finally saying that she tryed so hard to stay and that she loves him. So sad! And seeing her rip off Sidle" on her uniform and throwing it in the garbage.

Oh my God this was one of the best episodes ever!! It was also very sad! Sara was one of my favorite characters and I will miss her terribly while she is gone, but at least I know that she will be back eventually. When the lady was being domestically abused and Sara just stared and did not try to help her it became apparent how depressed Sara really was. I did not feel sorry for Hannah at all, after all it was her fault her brother was dead. I love Grissom as well but there are times I could strangle him, like after Sara kissed him and she walked off and he didn't follow her to see what was wrong with her! The letter was heartbreaking and so was the look on Grissom's face as he read it. I also thought the look on Sara's face as she drove away in the cab with tears running down her face was terribly sad as well. Overall an incredible episode.

Sara Sidle is one of my favorite characters on CSI, not only because of GSR but because of the way she always put her heart into her cases. In this last episode she is in it is evident that she has changed not only through Hannah's case, but through the domestic violence case. Before Sara would put everything she had into helping that woman, but now comes to realize that she can't really help at all. I am very sad to see Jorja leave the show and I wish she would have stayed. I will continue to watch CSI, but I know it will be very different without her.
  • well sara's past came back to bite her in the butt.Hannah and marlin are in this episode(again)...well sara realizes that she cant do it anymore and leaves. she writes a letter to grissom explaining why she left.it was a very sad ending.

    "Superb"
this was a sad episode. I cried when grissom read the letter. you could sorta tell she was going to leave because she was always angry and always had the expression.

i still can't believe she left. now the show is getting boring without GSR (Grissom Sara Romance. now there is only three original investigators left(Nick, Catherine, and Grissom) plus Greg(can't forget Greggo!)

Now we are going to have to wait for Warrick and Catherine. like that's ever going to happen Since Warrick didn't sign the contract for another season, he's leaving.

the shows ratings are going down(not #1show anymore, Miami is) because 50% of the fans watch it for the crime and the other 50% watch it for the GSR.
  • Great episode of returning characters and send off for Sara.

    "Perfect"
This episode is one of the best of the 8th season. It involves a story with returning characters, brother and sister, hannah and marlon west. In this episode yet again are we having to think can a young girl who is also a child genius really be a cold hearted killer? This is also the episode that Sara leaves. I really liked the idea of another episode with hannah and marlon in it, and it was a good episode for Sara to leave, as it all gets too much for her. She has to try and prove hannah is the murderer while hannah, just like in the other episode she was in, plays mind games with Sara and makes it hard for anyone to believe she could actually committ murder as she is only a young girl, and also a child genius. Sara then has to inform hannah when her brother marlon committs suicide. You can see this upsets sara as even though hannah killed someone she is still only a young girl who has just lost her only family(her mum and dad died in a car accident), this especially would touch a nerve with sara as she was in foster care and would know how it felt to have no one. This is why she wants to leave so she can'bury her demons'.

It Was One Of The Most Tear-Jerking Moments On CSI.

As I Am A BIG Fan Of Sara Sidle It Was Quite And Emotional And Dramatic Leaving.

I Am Also Relieved That There Was Finally A GSR Kiss On CSI.

I Love GSR They Make The Most Perfect Couple.

I Try To Understand What It Is Like To Do That Job As I Would Love To Take A Chance To Have A Career In It.

I Am Really Hoping That Jorja Fox Aka Sara Sidle Will Return To The Show..... As I Have Heard Many Rumors That She Already May Be Returning.

I Think Grissom Will Be Lost Without Her And I Really Couldn't See Him With Anyother Women...

    Overall

A Greatly Emotion, Dramatic and Tear-Jerking Episode So far On CSI.

I wrote a review for this episode awhile ago, but I just watched the rerun of this episode tonight on CBS. And just knowing that Sara was going to leave since watching this episode when it first aired, I could feel the tears coming up from the beginning of the episode, the first time I watched this episode I didn't cry until after it was over, but this time, I started to cry when Sara was walking up to Grissom to kiss him goodbye. Tonight I realized that, the reason that CSI got my attention and kept my attention was because of Jorja's character, we all pick our favorites and stick with them. Even though I know that Jorja will return, it still broke my heart to watch Sara say goodbye. I originally started to watch CSI Miami then decided to try watching CSI, and Sara became my favorite because I can relate to her. Not in the sense of her past but her attitude and how emotionally evolved she gets into things, there was an episode where Grissom was working on a crossword, and had missed a word and Sara pointed out that the word was misanthrope which means distruster of the humanrace, which was Sara's point of view of the humanrace, she didn't trust anyone except Grissom. I understand how she feels, something happens to you that you can't understand why, and it brings up alot of painful memories, that you aren't able to deal with being in your current surroundings. I know from interviews that Jorja will return, but if Sara doesn't stay, I'm sorry but I don't know if I can continue watching this show, unless Sara's new attitude, relates to my new attitude on life, since I moved away and my friends helped me deal with my past. I can relate to Sara, so in a sense I know what her character is going through. Upsetting to me that I really did't pay attention to the first time I saw this episode was after Sara is done interrogating Hannah, Grissom confronts her about how worried he is about her, and she snapped at him. Then she later went to apologize to him, and explain how she's been feeling, when she calls a call because marlen killed himself. What was good to me was that now that everyone knows about Sara and grissom, for Sara to work a case that she wants, she has to report to Catherine. Did anyone notice Sara' stomach in this episode? It did have a slight bulge to it. Sort of like, ok her character might be pregnant or she's just gained a little bit of weight, but everyone suspects that the twist that accompanies Sara's return that she is pregnant, this episode kind of supports it. I don't know I might be going crazy. I just want Sara back.

Watching one of TV's most interesting female characters crumble before your eyes isn't exactly what I'd call "light entertainment". Sara Sidle isn't everytone's cup of tea, but saying goodbye to her is emotionally taxing to anyone who is a fan of this show.

Her complicated relationship with supervisor Gil Grissom is a talking point in any CSI forum- it is mainly how intense debates start. But the famous "GSR" pairing gets surprisingly little screentime in this episode, aside from an incredibly touching scene at the end.

A dramatic change is occuring in Sidle- evident from the very first five minutes. A "burnout" is something that many characters in this series have had to suffer, most notably Grissom at the beginning of last season. Being pinned under a car by a manic serial killer however, means that Sara's burnout had lasting effects. It's obvious what is going to happen, and as she interacts with other characters throughout the episode we find ourselves realising she is really saying goodbye. For long-time fans it is incredibly frustrating- in my opinion more character-interaction scenes were needed instead of hardcore science.

The supporting cast in this episode is incredible regardless. Hannah West may just be little over 12, but she is one of CSI's most terrifying killers. Her chemistry with Fox is also excellent- it is really the centre in the episode. Hannah returning would be an incredibly interesting storyline for CSI in the future.

Overall, great episode- one that gives the beloved character Sara a decent send-off.
