The title of this episode, Hitting for the Cycle, is a baseball term and refers to the feat of a single player hitting a single (running to 1st base), a double (to 2nd base), a triple (to 3rd base) and a home run in a single game. Although not necessarily in that order. Collecting the hits in that order is known as a natural cycle.
