Catherine (entering Brass' office with a bottle of scotch): I know that this is your favorite way of wrapping up a tough case. A little scotch, a little talk. ... Feel like talkin'? (Brass takes out two glasses from his desk) Alright, then. (Catherine pours scotch into them)
-
Catherine (as they are reacting the crime): Alright, and now you're down. But you still have a knife.
Greg: And I think he was reaching for it when Jackass got in on the fight. Hodges, you're Jackass.
Hodges: And don't I know it.
-
Langston (after he rides up on his motorcycle): First responding said that a coupla bikers got away just as they showed up.
Nick: Okay, yeah. Maybe they took the knives with them.
Langston: Alright, I'm one of them. I know the police are rolling, I don't wanna get picked up carrying the weapon so I'm gonna ditch them as quickly as possible, right?
Nick: Right. But, you know, you can use your department vehicle to look for that stuff.
Langston: You wanna catch a rat, you move like a rat.
-
Catherine: Hey! Hey, what are you on?
Tonya: What do you think? You picked me up partying with bikers!
-
Tonya: Back off!
Catherine: I hope you like being strip searched as much as you like shootin' off your mouth. (shoves her into the interrogation room and shuts the door)
Tonya: Good work, Willows. Ever work undercover? We could always use another tough bitch.
Catherine: Alright, with you on the inside when they threw woman at Neddles, he could always say that he didn't cheat on his old lady, right?
Brass: Except for dead hookers, right?
Tonya: Joey-- Jack had to do that, had to be trusted enough to become a member.
Catherine: Well, obviously somethin' happened to that trust.
-
Ecklie (about Rita): You gonna tell me how you know her?
Brass: No.
-
Hodges: When you're done with fingerprinting, the officer will take you into the other room, where he'll collect the rest of your clothing.
Jackass: I ain't strippin'.
Hodges: I promise you that jail scrubs are much cleaner and more flattering than the blood and grease soaked homicide evidence that you're currently wearing.
-
Hodges (entering the biker club/crime scene): This is my first time in a biker bar. (inhales) Hmm. What's that scent? Beer, urine, sweat, vomit... (sees the large pool of blood on the floor) ...death.
-
Wendy: Tonya Charles, would you open up your mouth, please?
Tonya: Stick it in your own mouth, bitch!
Hodges: Hey, hey! You're outta line.
Tonya: Bite my outta line ass.
Hodges: You owe Ms. Simms an apology.
Wendy: Hodges, it's okay--
Hodges: No. Apologize. (Tonya head-butts him and officers take her away)
Wendy: That was stupid.
Hodges: Chivalry is not dead.
Wendy: No, but its nose is bleeding.
-
Langston: We have a packed club and nobody knows what happened?
Brass: When nobody knows nothin'... somebody knows somethin'.
-
Catherine: When I was in high school, there was this guy, Mark. He had a motorcycle.
Doc Robbins: Let me guess. Your mom told you to stay away from him, but you were Romeo and Juliet, riding around on 600 pounds of steel.
Catherine: Oh, we had fun. But I moved on. In fact, I didn't give bikers another thought until, years later, I'm in the ER with a hit-and-run victim. Guy on a bike. Just a piece of meat in search of a pulse. The entire time I'm processing him, I never realized it was my Romeo. He was that beat up.
-
Det. Vega: I tell these kids, "You want to join a gang? You should join us. We're more powerful. We got bigger guns... And we got dental."
Langston: Sold me.
-
Catherine: Jim, I heard you have a conflict of interest in this case.
Brass: No, I don't. (to an Officer) What've you got?
Officer (pointing to video monitor): I got a potential clean shot of the caller.
Brass: Alright, let's run it. (sees the person making the call on the screen) That's Rita.
Catherine: Well, I'd say you have a conflict now.
