Episode Recap

High school student Trevor Beck dies suddenly, and the autopsy reveals that the death was caused by cerebral menigina. Cindy Warner, Trevor's girlfriend, is missing as well. Cindy had been involved with a teen named Mitch Takahachi, and Trevor and Mitch had gotten into a fight over Cindy.

Trevor's cause of death is diagnosed as a malformation of the brain stem which caused his brain to swell after an injury. He was also on antidepressants and MAO inhibitors, which made his condition worse. Cindy is found dead, but there is no sign of how she got out in the desert in the first place. She apparently was a hit-and-run victim, but the car that hit her was so fast that she was thrown the length of a football field.

Trevor had been racing in a competition called "Street Rumble" which the police had set up to curb the incidents of illegal racing. He'd been hit by another car, which was driven by a racing club called the Demons, which Mitch is a member of. But Trevor's car is a classic model, and he would only race against other classic cars. He beat Cindy's best friend Renata in a race, but Trevor suffered whiplash, which was the reason for his brain injury.

Renata forced Cindy to get a hold of Trevor's car so she could race it against her own and see who was actually the faster driver. During the race, Renata's uncle, who was driving Cindy's car, hit Cindy. The car had to be repaired by the Demons, who removed all trace of the accident.
