  • Fantastic episode that reaches back to the glitz and glamour of Old Vegas. That romantic era when the Rat Pack owned the town, and showgirls ruled the night.

Fantastic episode that reaches back to the glitz and glamour of Old Vegas. That romantic era when the Rat Pack owned the town, and showgirls ruled the night. This episode gave us a look into the world that Sam Braun came from.

Faye Dunaway played a great old vegas showgirl, and owed every scene that she was in. The songs by Frank Sinatra set the mood for every scene, and the Pan-Am robbery story, Greg's locker room hat tip, and the final shot of the famous "Vegas Vic" helped make this episode a terrific nod to Vegas's gangster roots.
  • I don't like CSI. I did like this episode.

My parents like CSI. They watch all three...that's pretty much what's on in my household. I, unfortunately don't like CSI.

Nevertheless I found myself interested in this particular episode. With a guest star like Faye Dunaway, how can one not be interested?

So, once again stunt casting draws in a viewer. Not for long.

I've always been annoyed by the twists of the show. How, like an old mystery novel right at the last mmoment...the real villain just appears and the person you thought was doing it the whole time is really innocent.

With that said, I like the twist. The killer and the reason made sense, they didn't come out of left feild. I actually felt some kind of compassion for the victim and the killer. And I understand the reason for the initial crime.

I still think all the regular characters are entirely too bland. Could Marge Helgenberger be any less emotional? It's like watching a stone try to act.

Eric Szmanda (or however it is spelled) was definitely a bright spot. Reading the book and filling in certain things, acting as the true comic releif, picking up the lingo...cute stuff.

Alright, I admit to watching this episode. I admit to at least enjoying it. They haven't converted me. I still don't like any of the characters, nor do I particularly like the premise of these shows (these type of shows.) If they can finish the entire story in an hour, why is it worth my time?

Alright...yell if you want. This is what I feel. You are more than welcome to your own opinion.

I liked this episode. I don't like this show.
  • This is one of my favourite episodes...

With Great story lines and character appearances, this eipsode of CSI shows why it's the #1 show world wide. The story line was a classic story with a few twist. I liked the flash backs of old Vegas, how they were incorperated with the new Vegas. Faye Dunaway plays her character out perfectly as a classy ex show who know how to go out in style. I also really liked this episode because it showed how Greg has really developed over the years; he's turned into a wonderful CSI and an awesome person- not that he wasn't awesome before- just in a different way. The way he really gets into the case and he interest he shows, pefessional yes, but with a touch of personal. (I esp. like when he's telling Grissom about the "old money"- the look on Grissom's face was absolutely unforgettable.) Yes, this is definitely one of my favourite CSI eipsodes ever.
  • Much better than the last episode. I love this episode.

This gets the award for the most humorous episode of the season to date. Everything about it was great. The case was good, they explored it in detail but give too much detail and thereby boring the viewer to tears. Sara was certainly not herself and had many witty comments throughout. Her "Hodges, don't you know that grey hair can be very attractive?" was one of the best quotes ever. I love how Grissom was standing right beside her and thinks about what she says for a moment. Again, are they together?

It was a return to the CSI episodes of long ago. All the characters were witty, the case was great, and I for one didn't even mind the CathDrama! It was added very subtly and didn't take up the entire episode. I hope they do more episodes like this in the future.

  • A sow girl dancer is having a party and is later home to a murder. The victim has drugs on him possible lead to murder but when the real suspect is then killed by a friend things begin to twist ....

I LOVED THIS EPISODE!! So much greggo and the GSR moments were fab.The episode was cleaverly placed in a really rich house that didnt seem anything like it was. Many of my friends told me it was gonna be a good episode but not that good.

For once i felt in the episode the suspect gave the evidence to Greg forming a complete circle of Greg muttering from the book making more evidence for the CSIs i hope there will be more episodes like this with plenty of Greg cause it makes me happy it also reflects a good crime and many old faces.
  • The best episode of CSI in a long time!

"Kiss Kiss Bye Bye" is the benchmark by which all other episodes of CSI should be judged. Beautifully written and acted, the viewers were transported back to "Old Vegas" for a look into the history of showgirls and crime.

This episode centered around Greg, who is probably the most developed character on the show. Greg became quite fascinated with Lois, and had to be reeled back a bit by Grissom when Lois attempted to "wow" the investigators with her charm. Greg never wavered in his professional abilities, though, as he used his newly-discovered evidence to bring closure to some very old, very cold cases.

A CSI episode that didn't rely on far out scenarios and extremely unlikely coincidences. This episode reminded me of the good old days around season 4. The plot really kept me hooked, and I couldn't wait to see the end. Plus, I loved Sara's GSR comment 'Hodges, don't you know grey hair can be very attractive?' It made me feel bad after the whole 'Thermite' incident. :D
  • Just like the early years!!

This was a good example of the earlier CSI episodes. I really liked the whole black and white Vegas at the end. And only Greg could pull of that trick with the hat at the end. He is awesome!

Again for the second week in a row they had some GSR!! I love it. I had to watch the scene with Hodges, Grissom and Sara at least 3 times it was so good. Hopefully Grissom go the point!! Can't wait to see more of the two!!
  • Nice episode, not great, but very interesting.

Nice episode, not great, but very interesting.

Faye Dunnaway was a terrific guest star & played her part well.

Great to see Sam back too, and it was a surprise to find out that he's dating Catherine's mother, although it was obvious right from the beginning when he didn't ask Cath about her that they were seeing each other.

Greg was cute & funny, loved his sense of humor in this episode, loved his jokes & it was nice to see Sara laughing again for a change.

There were some funny moments in the show, like Hodges coloring his hair with a sharpie & Grissom's "Vanity thy name is Hodges" I had to laugh at that.

GSR was present in this episode with Sara saying the she thinks that grey hair is attractive, I wonder if Grissom took the hint.

  • Fantastic classic and old-school

This is in my top 5 favourite CSI episodes. With how it ended, the end of an era, it almost brought a tear to my eye thinking of how the classic "showgirls" from the "war years" are slowly dropping away.

Amazing shots, amazing plot, amazing guest actress. I will give this episode MORE than just a 10 rating if I could. This is one that I could watch a few times and still enjoy it. Harkening back to the days of REAL television and film, this is just top-quality material, enhanced by superb acting.

    Two thumbs up!
  • Displeased with Hollywood's perpetuation of older guy/younger woman.

Why are they trying to make a thing between Sara and Grissom? Why couldn't it be with Katherine?

Katherine seems to have a lot to offer and fewer problems than Sara. Also, why does Faye Dunnaway remind me of Michael Jackson? I usually love this show but this one was pretty boring. They usually have more than one case going and this one didn't. The nose job on the "boxer" was interesting. That is the stuff that makes CSI a hit. Of all the CSIs, I think this one is the best. The cast is the most interesting. And I really like Warwick's eyes.
  • A dead man…but was he the intended victim?

While I liked the idea of seeing a bit more of Catherine’s mom and dad…I thought the overall story was okay. I thought the number of suspects was sort of high…not really what I was expecting.

The overall case was kinda drug out and it just seemed to go on for too long. Maybe it was lack of an underlying story. But then again I guess maybe it was just me.

I do have to wonder where the story with Catherine’s parents is going. I don’t think it will be dropped…so I do look forward to seeing where it goes from here.

Overall an okay episode, I hope they get back on a CSI track.

  • This episode could be called an odd duck.

It doesn't really fit in with the other episodes but Kiss Kiss Bye Bye was a nice change of pace from how the show has been going lately.

For a show that included murder, robbery, gangsters & an old bank heist it was surprisingly light & a bit humorous. It was a nice change from the doom & gloom that the show has been airing lately & it was great to see Greg get back some of his sense of humor.

I did not think that I would enjoy Faye Dunaway but she surprised me. Just the right ammount of classy broad mixed in with sassy showgirl. It was great (although there was still a hint of her 'Mommie Dearest' Joan Crawford, in the mix it actually added to her character.)

This probably won't be one of my favorite episodes, but I won't change the channel when it's on repeats either.
  • Old Vegas! Nice to see the blackand white.

This was a good episode and Faye Dunaway as a guest star was excellent. I thought at the beginning it was a little over acted but then it settled in to the great show it is. Has Sam changed? I guess that will be told later on. Hodges coloring his hair with a Sharpie was funny. The episode keeps you guessing, and I never would have guessed the way it ended.
  • Not the greastest episode they\'ve done, still good though

This episode wasn\'t too bad, but it wasn\'t one of my favorites. i personally think they could\'ve made more out of it, say...making so that Eve did it? What WAS she doing with the security cameras anyway? It was alittle unresolved. They didn\'t show if Grissom and the team had enough evidence to convict Bobby (which they didn\'t), and they didn\'t really have enough evidence to convict Lois O\'Neill either, but they did. Faye dunaway was spectacular in this, very convincing. Was cute when Greg flipped the hat. Also nice that Catherine\'s parents are back together.
  • New episode, not the best I've seen, but still good.

Another new episode for CSI. Don't get me wrong, any new episode is a great episode (as long as it's not another repeat!!), but this one didn't have me on the edge of my seat like some of the others. Loved Faye Dunaway and her character! What a great guest star!! Loved the fact that Sam was back but the story was too narrow and not explored. Yes, he's back to dating Catherine's mom, but how did this happen and how long has it been going on for? My guess is a couple of weeks or so, but never really explained the nitty gritty for us. Plus Catherine at the restaurant with them both was a little out of character in my opinion. All in all though, it was a good episode, could've been better, but at least it was new!! A lot of witty banter back and forth and loved the Greg scenes! Eric S. is terrific and the screen time he got was well worth it!! Loved Hodges! He is so weird, but yet so funny! Plot line had a twist till the end to leave you guessing but was a little bit of a boring ending for me. Guess I would've liked it to be a little different and not so drab, but it was still good, just not the usual excitement I get with watching CSI. At least there's another new episode next week, right???
