  • Yeah, I know this episode aired like 4 years ago but I felt like writing a review for it because I really enjoyed this episode a lot.

    "Superb"
Even though this episode is devoid of any GSR action. I thoroughly love it. I think all the lines were well written. I especially love it when Brass, Catherine, and Grissom arrive at the Comedy Hole. And then I also love the end with Grissom and Michael Borland. I thought the side case was interesting and it was very cute when Sara kept trying to get the towel bar off and finally Nick had to do it. And Catherine's knowledge of Spam not being able to be asorbed in the location she mentions is well actually I suppose it is obvious but maybe not. I also enjoy when Nick tells David that if the lady pops up out of the coffin to use his free hand to hold her down. I thought it was kind of funny. I never thought Dougie Max was funny nor Michael Borland. Anyway, that's all I have to say.
  • While Grissom, Cathrine and Warrick work the case of a comedian who died onstage at the comedy club, Sarah and Nick chech out Brass's "hunch".

    "Superb"
This episode deserves a high ranking based solely on the guest stars. Jeffery Ross as the comedian who dies onstage, and Bobcat Goithwait and Gilbert Godfried as suspects, plus the up and coming Brian Callen as the bartender. I'm a big comedy fan, so these names are like gold to me. Its different to see them in more of an acting role than a "funny" role. Maggie Wheeler, the female comdian getting the red light, you might recognize from her role on Friends as Janice, Chandler's ex with the annoying laugh. Double points for a female comedian.

Nick and Sarah are kinda flirty and although I am a GSR fan, I appriciate any sexual tension.
  • can you guess who did it?

Just when you think you know who did it the writers throw you of and you are left with a feeling of misery! luckily it turns out you were right all the time, which is rather relieving. this goes for both the A and B story in this episode, it's cleverly put together and have some nice lines in it. It's not the most existing episode to watch though and you quickly forget it after watching it. You do have to appreciate all the bad jokes in the comedy show though, never have I seen anything quit like that, and I don't mean it in a good way! There was comedy more than one place in this episode and I really enjoyed the Nick and Sarah lines seeing Sarah sitting in a bathtub trying to pull down a towel rank was quit funny.
  • Grissom and Catherine investigate the murder of a comedian who died onstage.

    "Superb"
Grissom and Catherine investigate the murder of a comedian who died onstage. Futher investigation reveals that he died after drinking a certain brand of bottled water.

Warrick is assigned the case of a teenager who dies in a convenience store. It turns out that he also died after drinking from the same brand of bottled water.

Brass reopens an accidental death case of a woman who drowned in her bathtub, after he spots her husband having too much fun only a few weeks after her death. Something doesn't seem right to him so he goes to Nick & asks him to investigate.
