  • Good case, good ep but...

I expected a little more. So Warrick is the rock of the team? Funny, because he hasn't been around like... forever! I totally loved the Grissom/Hodges scene, you just have to love Hodges. This ep was about Grissom leaving and letting the others say their goodbyes (Way to go Nicky!)and it was a Cath centric ep where she ran with the ball, I think I was disappointed at the end. First, the whole Sara/Grissom scene was heart wrenching, but since we have gathered they are a couple...why so less said? It was just a little disappointing IMO and I expected (and hoped for) more than a little "I'll miss you".
  • EXCELLENT!!!!

This was the best episode of the new season. It was funny, dramatic, and just wonderful. Kudos to the whole cast. I hope that the rest of the season can match this episode. The young boy who played one of the victims sons was outstanding. His expressions made me think of Dakota Fanning. I see big things in his future. Once again, this was absolutely the BEST!!!!! Congrats CSI!
  • This is exactly why I watch this show! Nick investigating not only with Catherine but also Gil's relationship status. Catherine doing what it takes to bring in a killer! Wonderful!!!

What a show!! This episode is exactly why I watch CSI. Nick and Catherine's case was wonderful. When Catherine gets the idea in her head that it is a certain suspect, she stops at nothing to get the evidence to prove it...even if it means stripping to get what she wants! The look into the way the Sheriff interogated was a good look into how interrogations can actually happen and how emotions can take a toll on an officer as well as a suspect.

Nick is getting very close to finding out about GSR! If Nick is the great investigator he is, I think he will be the first to find out about it! It is also great seeing Nick with his saying "goodbye" to Grissom..."I'll miss you" "I'll be back in 4 weeks!!" It made me laugh!!! Also, what is going on with Catherine and Gil? They used to be such close friends?

I did miss Sara in this episode but it is understandable to make the pivotal statement at the end. Gil seemed to be fighting with himself about embracing Sara and maybe even kissing her. Sara also seemed to be fighting not to cry. I'm sad that Gil will be gone for several episodes but it may do him some good to get away for a while and get his bearings again. He will need it when he tackles the Miniature Killer! I just can't wait for the next episode and whenever Gil returns. Also looking forward to any messages that Gil may leave Sara over the next couple weeks!

Looking forward to the next episode!! Yay!!
  • Wow! I really enjoyed this episode. It was really well done. I enjoyed the scene between Nick and Grissom, as well as Grissom one with Warrick. And He is back (the MCSK of course) just like many of us thought it is not over yet.

    10
    "Perfect"
I was so psyched to find out that us fans who thought that the MCSK thing was not done were right. Of course, we have to wait four weeks to find out what is going to go down with that actually more than that for us because we have weeks with reruns so more like four episodes. I thought the case that Cath and Nick were working on was interesting. And all I could think when she was talking to Gruffy was Catherine stop that stop it stop it. But it was interesting all the same. Finally, they brought up the idea that at least a couple of the guys have some idea that Gil probably has a girlfriend (of course we know he does and who). I thought it was so funny when Nick thought Gris was like leaving for like good and went and hugged him. It really was a humourous(do not know if I spelled that right) moment. I am still laughing at it. Now for the part with Sara. So sweet and I do not know what else to say it was the moment I had been looking forward to seeing. With the way he said it you know he loves her well okay so it has not been said yet or anything but well it is just I think he most likely does. Alrighty that is my review for this episode.
  • Very interesting... Grissom is leaving and the miniature replica killer is back!

Wonderful GSR. I like it so much. Sara hold back the tears but it was really hard for her. She hardly try to smile and to say him "goodbye" with a smile. I think she just didn't want to make him feel guilty about leaving her. And Grissom still have problems in confessing his feelings but he had advance. Actually I missed Sara in this episode.

Catherine's case was really... hard. Her interrogation methods were realy interesting. Actually for a first time I really accepted her as a stripper. And I am glad that she actually catch the guy.

Nick was so close to find out about the GS relationship. He figured out that Grissom had a girlfriend and I think that soon he will discover who she is.

I noticed that Nick said that Grisson was strange for the last few months? How do you think how many months he means?
  • What the heck am I going to do without Grissom for 4 weeks? At least they had him leave in an excellent episode. The show has totally rocked this season.

    OH . . . MY . . . GOD!!!

Ok, so there was a good case, and some wonderful goodbyes, and some sweet moments, and some funny parts . . .I'll get back to all that . . . but first . . .

THE PACKAGE! First off, I KNEW that Ernie was NOT the killer - someone who taught the killer how to make miniatures, maybe, but not a serial killer. But, but, but there is a package, and it's sitting on Grissom's desk, and it's a miniatures crime scene (of a court room? somewhere in the lab?), and it's going to sit there for FOUR WEEKS. The killer is going to get this huge jump on the CSI team. Crap. And we have to wait until Grissom gets back to open the box? - double Crap. I don't want to wait. We already had Christmas. Ok, so the case with Catherine and Nick. Loved to see them two of them working together away from Vegas. I liked the Sheriff, even if she did screw up. Interogating suspects has got to be hard. Nice to see Novak back, I loved his scnes with Cath, kind of flirty, kind of hostile, it must be fun for the two actors to work together like that since they are married in real life.

Grissom leaving was sad, but I was ok up until he talked to Sara. He was nice to Greg (taking some advice from the girlfriend, huh), Nick all worried that he was going to leave forever made me laugh - he and Cath were SO close to figuring out the GSR in the car - if only they thought about Sara over the past months, and his conversation with Warrick made me smile (of course he will be there for Cath, but he IS still married). But him and Sara. I loved how he looked around before he said he would miss her. If the glass wall wasn't behind him I figure he would have held her, maybe even kissed her. But she'll be waiting for him, even if she looked really sad and like she was trying not to cry.

Now I have to wait TWO weeks - urgh!! I LOVE this show.
  • OMG we all knew it wasn't over!

The miniature killer has resurfaced!!!!! Everyone had a feeling it wasnt really old Ernie Dell. Wow I really hope we dont have to wait for Grissom to come back to see the miniature. This episode was great. I only wish some of the other characters came into play a little bit more. Now leeme side step to when Catherine is interrogating the Guffy guy. Ok her method wasa little onorthodox, but hey, it worked. I really hope Keppler doesn't come in and ruin the team.
  • We see special sides to Nicky, Hodges, and Grissom. Nick hugged Grissom!! EEEE HAHA

Wow what an episode. I knew Finch was guilty all along......okay, I cheated, but it's a cliche that the CSI writers worked out really well. When Guffey said he was coherced into confessing, I was afraid that little town was filled with dirty cops. But, it wasn't, thank god.

Hodges and Nick, wow best characters tonight!! The interaction between Gil and David is really something. And Nicky giving Grissom that hug was so adorable. Then the look on their faces as Nick's leaving was even better. Grissom wasn't sure what to make of what just happened and Nick looked like he was mentally yellnig at himself for doing such a stupid thing.

GSR!! Holy GSR!! I think the GSR fanatics are all having heart attacks right now. I wonder if they'll have scenes of Greg's court case in three weeks. Great episode, filled with laughs but lots of angst.

OMG the mini-killer's back!! Now, I'm really pysched fro next week's episode. I wonder how Grissom's temporary replacer's gonna fare with the night shift.
  • So long Grissom? Or is it?

The show was so great but it was bittersweet as

Grissom will leave for awhile but hopefully not for long

As Warrick is in charge and Grissom couldn't had picked a Better person in Warrick. Catherine must testify against a serial killer who she fears may have killed a couple more times. And must race against the clock before it is too late. Please Grissom don't leave us all together. We would really miss you so bad.
  • I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!

    9.5
    "Superb"
I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew that there had to be more to the miniature replicas!! The 'ending' to that plot line was so weak in the previous episode. They invested 3 full episodes to the replicas then ended it so badly that I knew there had to be more. I hope the season ender is a huge one that includes this story.

Im guessing the guy who they thought was the killer was involved but with someone else... a relative? or someone else used his tools to make the miniatures.

I liked the main story however, kept me guessing as to the real killer. For a while I thought maybe the 2 guys were in on it together, but the real motive made sense.
  • A really good murder to solve, Catherine up front and looking hot, Nick back and on a roll and a suprise twist at the end, what is not to love.

    9.5
    "Superb"
Still the best one hour in TV, just seems to fly by every time i watch it, a mark of a truely great show. Opens up with a brutal multiple murder popped by a nice sin city like graphic of a blood red knife against black and white.Catherine is smoking hot in this episode trying to catch a guy let of for the murder by the slimy lawyer Novack who shows up again in this episode. A very intense case as far as evidence goes and they did a really good job of it. Nick plays a huge role in this one and somewhat protects Catherine from the slimy Novack. At the end we see Griss bidding farewell to Sarah as he goes on a teaching trip, wish they would speed the relationship line up a little. A huge twist at the end of the show, the miniature murder storyline is not over!
  • Oh My God!!!! So Great!

    10
    "Perfect"
Okay first of all, I was not expecting the return of Novack, so that was a pleasant surprise. Keep in mind that this is after only 1 viewing, but this episode was freaking GREAT. The crime that Catherine and Nick were investigating was interesting. Though, how that sheriff could run such a sloppy investigation is beyond me. It is my understanding that even when there is a confession, you collect all the evidence. Why didn't they question the kid in the first place? Not collecting the bullets, not properly investigating the scene, not questioning all the witnesses. Just plain sloppy. We finally got an answer to the inheritance question. Thank You!! What did I tell you? Miniature murders are not over. That will be one surprise when Grissom gets back. And finally. So glad that the "So your going" was to that he was leaving then. Not that she didn't know that he was going at all. That would have made no sense.
  • Grissom leaves for his entomology seminar and tells Sara that he'll miss her ...

    8.8
    "Great"
After a suspect is found not guilty, Catherine sets out to investigate the case and find the other victims convinced that the suspect is guilty. Also, this was an emotional episode as Grissom prepares to go for his entomology seminar. Nick tells Catherine he thinks that Grissom is not coming back. They also joke about Grissom having a girlfriend when they noticed his been shaving his beard, losing some weight, going home when his shift is over and even taking a day off… Hmm they don’t know how close they are to the truth… Before leaving, Grissom step by the locker to tell a sad Sara that he’ll miss her.
  • This episode was ok

It was an ok episode, the only best thing that happen was the end with Grissom and Sarah!!! Poor Sarah!!! Can’t wait to see Grissom coming back and see their relationship grow. Lol. More GSR moment!!!

I’m realising something, I don’t know if it’s just me but I hardly see Sarah or Greg any more. Oh well…. Especially in this episode we only get to see Greg and Sarah in one scene.

Ohhhh!!! It looks like the miniature replica is back… the miniature replica have it’s 4th story line, I only seen one as I haven’t see the first two episode of this season and one other. I have seen Loco Motives, it was ok. Oh welll… can’t wait till Grissom comes back.
  • The crew has to prove that a man did kill two women while fighting off the eterny of the man.

It was pretty boring. I'm glad that I did stay up to see the ending. *Spoiler* The miniture killer aparantly is still out there. It was really cool to hear his creepy song once again. The bloody doll picture was dead give away to who had left the package for Grissom. Still very cool to see my fav story-line villian again.
  • Grissom says his goodbyes and Catherine and Nick work a case.

Without William Peterson, CSI isn't the same. I'm sure we all expected this but I hadn't realized how attached I was to Grissom until he left! I'm willing to admit, I cried. I find it hilarious that the team is onto him and Sara and I think it's great. The dynamic between Catherine and Nick also gets two thumbs up for me since I've always wanted them to be together. It's nice how close they are and that they can joke around and bring some laughter to a sad episode. Catherine maybe have some unconventional "interrogation" techniques but they worked, didn't they? This one gets a 10/10 for me.
  • Catherine and Nick solve a crime in which a man is accused of murdering his mother, but is not guilty. Grissom prepares to leave on his 4 week sabbatical.

    9.9
    "Superb"
This is one of my favorite episodes!!!!! Catherines button game kinda freaked me out a little......but it was still funny. I already miss Grissom!!! Waaaaaaaaahhh hopefully he will be back soon... I'm one of the very very very few people who thought the minature killer crims were over so im very excited that there will be better conclusion!I was surprised that Nick looked like he knew Grissom had a girlfriend. Catherine's remark about shaving her beard was quite funny! Also Nick huggin Grissom and Hodges conversation with Grissom where both very funny!! I really enjoyed this episode all together! The GSR scene at the end was sad. Poor Grissom he's so funny when he's nervous!
  • Not as good as we were lead to believe

After watching this episode I felt let down. I have been watching CSI for many years now and usually after an episode I think back on it and think it was really good, but this one let me down. All the previews for it made it sound like it was going to be really good and dramatic. But the goodbye between Grissom and Sara wasn't even close to dramatic. The best part was in the last thiry seconds it finally seemed to get better. It left you thinking, one about why it was so bad and two, about the ending.
  • Not how I would like to see Grissom go :(

    9.0
    "Superb"
Wow, this qwas an amazing episode of CSI, though don't you also think that Grissom should've been on a case before he left, giving us a reminder on how he would solve it? Luckily for myself, there was another episode of CSI where Grissom was doing a case.

The episode was great, but the made the ladie police officer was guilty, and it was too bad because she had nothing to do with it.

Though, I think they should've had a second case, done by Grissom, and then it would complete the whole episode completely for me :)

Though this was a good one, it could bwe a bit better in my opinion!
  • MORE SARA!!

    9.0
    "Superb"
So I get that actresses and actors in shows get a certain amount of time off during the filming season…I get it…but that doesn’t mean that I like it. I MISS SARA!! This has not been the first (try like the third) that we have seen Sara on screen for less than one minute in the entire episode. I like it when all of the characters get close to equal. Don’t get me wrong – I love Marg and therefore like Cath – but she seems to have gotten the most screen time all season. Why can’t we have these lovely ladies working together more?? I know they had their fight, but there was a while ago and we know they work well together (it’s raining men juice, hallelujah)…so…MORE SARA!! I know that there have been hints on her in the future dealing not so well with Grissom leaving…I hope that’s true…
  • Grissom goes on a sabbatical and a surprise ending.

    9.0
    "Superb"
This episode was vastly intriguing. Grissom prepared to go on sabbatical and had a little something to say to everyone. Hodges had me cracking up with advice on Williams College and getting around out there. Nick was adorable thinking Grissom wouldn't be coming back and then being told "I'm coming back in four weeks. Stop hugging me."

It appears that some people are starting to guess at the relationship between Grissom and Sara. If only Nick and Cath knew how close they were. The case Catherine and Nick worked was a little boring but the little boy broke my heart.

The final scene of the episode-a package being delivered to Grissom with another mini crime scene complete with a newspaper heading of "Another Body Found"-was not really a complete surprise. I was never fully convinced that Ernie Dell was the killer, just an accomplice. We'll have to wait for Grissom to come back to find out.
  • Leaving Las Vegas, literally.

    10
    "Perfect"
Episodes like this clearly show why CSI have the best cast on TV and is the best show. The acting on all accounts was acted out greatly, and Grissom played his part out well. It will really be interesting seeing him gone in the next four episodes and seeing Catherine in charge of the team. Seeing Nick work with Catherine reminded me of how could these two work together and Nick\'s hug with Grissom was priceless! With Marg\'s husband Alan returning as Adam Novak he sure defines the word creepy. Season seven of CSI is putting the show back on track and \"Leaving Las Vegas\" shows it.
  • This was a very good episode.

    These are very funny quotes:

Nick: "Sabbatical" is usually a euphamism for "sayonara". I don't think Grissom's comin' back.

    Catherine: Why wouldn't he?

Nick: I don't know, he shaved his beard, lost a little weight, he's been leaving when shift is over- I think he even took a day off last week.

Catherine: Maybe he's got himself a girlfriend.

Nick: That's what I'm saying! You know, I thought you were gonna leave a few months back.

Catherine: Why, 'cause I shaved my beard?

Hodges: For the first time I felt like I fitted in. Not like now. I mean, you and I are close, but sometimes I just don't think the others get me.

    Catherine (knocks): Got a second?

Hodges: He's kind of busy. (looks and sees Catherine) Oh. (Stands up and leans over to Grissom) When you get a chance. Hit the Purple Pines. Ask for Cookie. Tell her Davey Hodges sent you. Drinks will be on the house.

    Grissom: Crazy Times.

Hodges: Phh, yeah. Nick: It's a needle in a haystack.

Catherine: It's our job to look for a needle in a haystack.

    Catherine: He's guilty.

Adam Novak: You said the same thing about me once.

Catherine: Yeah, you're not a murderer. You just set them free. Grissom: Hey...My cab's here.

    Sara: So, you're going then?

    Grissom: Yeah.

    (pause)

Sara: I'll see you when you get back.

Grissom: (wrings his hands and pauses) I'll miss you. Grissom: Hey Nick!

    Nick: Hey.

    Grissom: Where's Catherine?

Nick: Not back yet. I got a ride in with the local deputy.

Grissom: She told me she was going to be back before I left.

Nick: Oh yeah...listen, about that...I told my folks when I went to college that I'd be back, you know? Go to work at the D.A.'s office with my dad. You can kind of see how that turned out. Anyway, I just wanted to say it's been great, man...(Nick gives Grissom a big hug and holds on for a little while) really, I've learned a lot from you, man...

Grissom: I'll be back in four weeks. Stop hugging me.

(Nick slowly lets go of Grissom, looking chastened and a little embarrassed)

    Nick: Yes, sir.

(Grissom gives Nick a strange look, shakes his head slightly at him and then walks away)
