  • The seventh season ends with the Miniature Killer finally being captured, but not before the killer commits one last crime that hits right at Grissom's heart. The team finds out that there is still a chance to save the victim, but will they?

After watching this episode, I can safely say that CSI is definitely one of the best shows on television today. One thing I like about the episode is the Miniature Killer saga is finally drawing to a close. It was a good story arc for the seventh season but it's going to come to an end before it wears out it's welcome and becomes tedious which I think is a very good idea. It leaves the viewer hooked to the end not just to see if the victim will be saved, but also how the team will be effected personally.

  • They got the miniature killer...but at the cost of Sarah's life???

I so love season finales, they're often so intense, and with lots of nice character development. In tonight's finale we finally see the miniature killer caught, and it's not who the CSI's expected it to be at all. It was sorta weird how they showed the killer so much, especially at the beginning of the episode, but I guess it worked. She was pretty freakin psysho too! The story was centered around the miniature killer, and therefore Grissom (and Sarah), so we didn't get much from everyone else. And sucks for Greg, he wasn't even in the finale at all. At least Sofia got her one scene in there. Anyways...it was pretty cool to see Grissom and the others closing in on the killer, and finally figuring out who she was. And Grissom's talk with her at the end - intense. I was definitely convinced by the hallucination throat-slitting. The killer really did outsmart Grissom and everyone else, and she got Sarah too. But now we've gotta wait 4 months to see if Sarah will be okay! I feel a good season premiere on the way! Good ending for the season, and I hope CSI doesn't slip too much in the ratings anytime soon!
  • The miniature killer's final strike... and it hits very close to home.

Now when I say that this show was painful to watch, I mean it in the best possible way. I loved most of it, because it flowed well.

Miniature Killer, Natalie, definitely the freakiest character they’ve ever had. Her father freaked me out, and so did his doll, which he named after the younger daughter! *shiver* Natalie was apparently crazy for awhile, like since childhood, although killing your baby sister and watching your father clean up her blood could do that to you. It reminded me of Candice Bergen, whose father was a ventriloquist, and she said that the doll was her sibling… Natalie’s attention to detail was an interesting trait (she could’ve been on Psych) which I suppose made sense due to her detailed models. They tied everything together in ways that made sense, yay, which of course is always a good thing to see in a multi-episode story arc.

Sara, Sara, Sara, apparently she got under Natalie’s skin. There is I suppose a poeticness to Sara’s impending demise being orchestrated by someone a little more obsessed than herself, and that the only person who could end the Grissom Sidle affair, two obsessive people in love, snicker, was an even more obsessive human being. How exactly such a small woman could over power Sara, played by a woman who is nearly six feet tall, is still a mystery. Sara’s disappearance led Grissom to saying that she was the only thing he loved in front of his colleagues, who all dropped their jaws in a beautiful moment of acting that was priceless to see.

I pause a moment from Sara’s story to go to Grissom. He was WAY too calm when interrogating Natalie, even if he was pretending to be calm while inwardly seething, we should have seen something in the form of a struggle from him. His scene with Natalie was bizarre; I know she’s crazy, but the whole neck slashing thing was a little much. Her singing her father’s song, so apparently she’s seen his show what a way to screw up her mind even more, was very, very creepy. Especially as it was being sung as we see Sara struggling beneath the car.

Now I know we’re supposed to think this is a major cliff-hanger with the hope that Sara will be alive next season, however we’ll find out whether or not Jorja’s contract has been signed over the summer. I’m of the opinion that she’s not coming back, after all it was kind of obvious that it wasn’t her in the final scene, plus it’s been reported that she didn’t shoot the scene. So this may be the last time we see Sara, who was and is my favorite character, despite my dissatisfaction with the way she was used in a few seasons.

I think I´m talking for everybody when I´m saying that this is one of the best chapters in the CSI storie, this one and "5x25 Grave danger" were great, I really miss this kinf of episodes. I started Watching season eleven and all I can say is "PLEASE SAVE CSI".

I loved this episode not only by the plot but also by the good acting here, Emily is an exellent character and she was very convincent, I loved the scene where she was talking in that interview and she could remember each detail perfectly in the wait room, it was so scary.

P.D: I´m from venezuela, I´m not an expert writing in english, please forgive my mistakes
  • After an entire season, the smart Miniature Killer with a photographic memory is FINALLY captured, but not before she tases Sara in the parking lot, kidnaps her, and chucks her in the desert under a wrecked car.

No one at the lab could figure out why Natalie kidnapped Sara: "What does Sara have to do with bleach?" So Grissom explains that he took away the only thing Natalie ever loved, so she's gonna do the same thing to him. This renders the team speechless, as Grissom leaves the room to interrogate Natalie. First he tries to flatter her, but she seems to be drifting off, then she hallucinates and starts singing "I've Got a Pain In My Sawdust". This fantabulous episode ends with Grissom losing it and yelling at Natalie, and Sara's hand reaching out from under the wrecked car in the desert. Back to the beginning/middle of the episode: I found the part where the cops burst in the wrong apartment really funny, instead of capturing the Miniature Killer, they find a hairy fat guy listening to music in the bathroom. Also, "Living Doll" didn't have TOO many gory bits (not that I mind, but my friend gets grossed out and covers her eyes every time there's a dead body, even though the dead bodies are portrayed by alive actors), so my friend could actually follow the story.
  • This was Amazing!

I loved this ep! Hate the fact that its a cliffhanger, I want to know what happens to Sara! But even with the cliffhanger it was great! Good to see how the MCSK story arc came together and how she had been observing Grissom for a while, which is how she knew that to break him she would have to go after Sara. It also depicts really well how deranged Natalie (the MCSK) is, especially when she sings that song, very creepy!

Also Grissom tells the team, even if only inadvertantly, that Sara is the only person that he has ever loved! SQUEEE!:D:D:D

Overall, one of the best ever CSI eps!
  • Oh...my...god! This episode is by far the best they ever did!

Where to start, where to start? I love the whole Miniature thing, so that was a plus. We finally see the Miniature killer, Natalie. I honestly never suspected it to be a girl. But I knew that Ernie Dell killed himself for someone he loved. I screamed when we saw that Natalie was making a Miniature only this time, her victim is Sara. I loved the whole GSR scene with the arm sex...it was amazing! We need a kiss though. The whole thing the bisque doll was creepy but cool. We see that Natalie killed her sister and that's how the whole bleach thing came up. Then when Grissom finds the Miniature of Sara under the mustang was so sad...then the team trying to figure it all out...and then when Grissom said that Sara was the only person he ever loved and then there reactions to it was simply amazing. I almost starting crying when Natalie slashed Grissom's throat...but thank god that it wasn't real. And then we see Sara under the car some where out in the dessert with the rain pouring down and her hand clawing at the mud...that's when I started to cry! Then those 3 words came on the screen 'To Be Continued' I screamed! This episode was by far the best ever! Might even be better than Grave Danger! They better find Sara alive or else!
  • Can't get much better than this, except maybe the season 8 premiere.

OMFG Sara, arrrhhhh! What an episode. This is definatley the best one so far. First of all, that girl playing Natalie was sensational, creepy but sensational. And poor Grissom, going to the shop not realising he was seeing a part of Sara's minature, but why the hell didn't he even look that sad when he saw the minature on his desk?? He's so frustrating sometimes, but I still love him :) I'm not sure that the team really understood what Grissom meant when he said "I took away the only person she ever loved, and now she's doing the same thing to me". I think maybe only Catherine really got it, by the look on Nick and Warricks faces, i don't rekon they did. And the final scene=torture. Poor Sara but she's a tough bugger and she'll be right. But hurry up and find her Griss, and hurry up with that long over due kiss. 25 days...(about 5 months for me in Aus but I'll be tracking it all here :D )

This was one of my favorite episodes! The actress who portrayed the killer was AMAZING! She really was creepy like a killer would be. At the end, I couldn't believe that she almost killed him, but then it wasn't true and I was shocked with my jaw to the ground. I hope Sara's gonna be ok! He will be mad if she is hurt! I can't wait for the next season! It will be so good! This episode was exciting and a great way to end the season because it leaves the viewers wanting to know what happens. 10/10 AWESOME EPISODE!
  • Grissom’s nemesis strikes back and this time it’s personal... Can’t wait for season 8!

This episode was really well written as a cliffhanger and it was really captivating. It turns out the miniature killer is a woman and is seeking revenge on Grissom as she holds him responsible for the death of her foster father Ernie Dell. Somehow, Natalie the miniature killer got hold of Sara and put her under a wrecked car in the middle of the dessert. The thrilling moment was when Nathalie protruded a blade from her mouth and slashed Grissom’s throat. What a relief when it turned out it was in her imagination! While lost in his thoughts about Sara being kidnapped, Grissom’s inadvertently revealed his concealed romance with Sara to the team. Here again, magnificent acting by Marg, Gary, George and Eric appearing astonished as they wonder if they heard correctly what Grissom just said..
  • This was a very good episode.

I really thought this was a great episode, for one the show us putting one of the main characters in danger. So will Sara live? I don't know. I liked how they made us believe that the miniature killer had killed Gil but it was jsut her imagination. The thing that i thought was stupid was how easy they caught the killer. Although i liked how it turned out to be the cleaner. Some one who had been near the team the whole time. I am looking forward to season 8, so lets hope thats a good season too. When this show makes episodes like this then no one can conplain.

OMG! The best ep ever! The Killer is Natalie, and she already get Sara! I don't know if Sara is dead or not, but i can wait for another season of CSI to start!

Is it bad to say i'm cheering for Natalie? I just liked her! I now she's got a very interesting story behind all this! And she is the living proof of my teory! That the ones with a lil disturb mind, even the crazy ones ... are actually smarter than us!

I love when Grinson speak out about him and Sara. Everybody's face ... priceless! Sofia, wonderful!

omggggggg how i loved this episode! by far it was the best episode of the whole series (like of all seasons)...when natalie took out that sharp thing that she cut grissom's throat i thought omg...she killed him! then we saw it was all in her imagination and i was like......phew......

but sara under the car??? like NOOOOOOOO i did saw it coming when the episode was developing (when i saw the sara miniature) but i was like "let it not be true let it not be true" and when i saw her hand i was like noooooooo

but i think she wont die cause she was not under water...yes she has a car in top of her but she's like in an edge where she isnt that hurt or drowning with the mud! let CSI's save sara!! i will kill myself if she dies :D

and grissom and his miniatures kinda creeped me out! when he started doing them i was like...can he be the killer? even when she was talking with natalie and he said he was a big fan i was like what is he sayingggggggg??? like is he trying to convince her or is he serious!! (i hope the first one is right)
  • The miniature killer is back and before she is caught she has one final act; revenge on Grissom.

Absolutely amazing. The killer is revealed at the beginning but we have to wait for the team to figure it out!

Their reactions to Sara and Grissom's relationshp were great, but I find it hard to belive that after working with them all through their realationship that they had no idea.

I loved the looks on their faces.

The scene where they're watching Natalie's father with the doll is great, the look on Catherine's face is absolutely priceless.

The point where Grissom finds the miniature is good, escpecially as it seems at that moment Natalie kidnaps Sara.

The ending was good and it will be keeping everyone on the edge of their seats as we know that Sara is alive but we don't know where she is or if she's going to live.

    In one word; amazing.
  • Dare I say it... the best episode of CSI so far SPOILERS

    "Superb"
The hype up to the miniature killer was enormous and throughout the season I was worried that they would not be able to follow all the hype. It did not disappoint though and the miniature killer was the most impressive and perfect character ever. Natalie Davis played by Jessica Collins was really impressive, she was the perfect character of the killer we've heard so much about.

The character development with Grissom is impressive too with his line "the only person I ever loved". What I don't understand though is why he was so close to Lady Heather in the last episode if he loved Sara.

What I don't get is how Natalie managed to overpower Sara so easily and also how she managed to buy a car that had been in a crash and then get it towed. It all seems strange.

The episode is one of my favourite episodes ever and at the same time it is also the worst cliffhanger. Normally we would get a 2 episode season finale and there would be no TBC but that's annoying.
  • A real turning point for the series

    9.6
    "Superb"
The rating on this website for this episode is apt which is why I am giving it the same 'episode score'! I didnt expect the writers to introduce us to the Minature Killer so early in the ep so I knew something big would crop up for them to do that and I was right. Ever since last week, my suspicions told us it was a woman and that was also confirmed and I am never right at these things. Back to the plot, this was a very fitting finale but the last half an hour was focused on Sara and she only had about one scene in the whole ep. I was like wtf? She should have had more scenes. The background story on Natalie was interesting and and Grissom's interrogation on Natalie was weird and it had a very good cliffhanger!
  • Fascinating, but poor Sara!

Wow, Grissom finally admitted to loving Sara. I would have preferred not to end on a cliffhanger, but I don't have much control over that. I'll just have to wait until September. Anyway, pretty fast paced, edge of your seat episode. I think I yelled at the TV more than any other episode. I would have liked to see more of Sara before they stuck her under that car. That song was just plain creepy, but then, so was Natalie. It seemed like an awful lot of backstory this time, but it made sense in the end. Sorta. I still think bleach is a really weird trigger for murder.

This episodes will go down in CSI hall of fame rigth next to way to go. I mean it was jam pack with actionan I love it. My favorit part was whent Grissom told every one that he loved sara. Wow the only other women besides his mother he love. What I don't get is CSI's are supouse to read pepole for a living right so how did she now he loved her with see them together a hand full of times. But still a good sceen. I wounder what the other CSI are going to think. Maby its about time.

This episode was nerve wrecking when grissom finally find the doll killer it might be to late. because the love of his life, life is in danger. If the csi team dont find Sara in time she might die. Natalie wanted to pay grissom back because grissom took somebody that she love. Now she is doing the same to grissom. And this episode is when Grissom finally reavel to his team that he loves Sara and every body is in shock because they never thought Sara and Grissom would be together. But now it may be to late for him to even tell Sara how he fell about her.

This episode had me guessing from start to finish. It was by far one of the best season finale's EVER! on any show! I can't wait for September so that I can find out what happens to Sara. The whole thing when Grissom was in the interregation room with the miniture killer and she cut his throat. me my brother and his friend we're watching it and my brother was like why is he just sitting there? i about freaked out. then it showed that it was just a thought that she had and I about died. This was amazing and I can't wait for Living Dolls (2).

Oh...still have to wait to Sept??!!!!

I believe they can rescue Sara before the last second...

I really want to see how the CSIs handle this special romance between Gil and Sara.

And may be there should be some other romance happen between Warrick and XXX?

Lady Heather is certainly one of the favourite character of mine.

    Just can't wait!!!

This was a very good episode even though they put a big clif hanger at the end. Sara Sidle is my favorite but that will bring me back next year even more. There were alot of twist and turns that kept me on the edge of the seat the whole time. The mini killer was a great way to end the season to because we were waiting all season to figure out who it was and why they did what they did and you got all of that and much more! The ending was very painful for me to watch but it was still a great episode!

    I'll be honest here.

I thought I was gonna be majorly disappointed. After unintentionally reading spoilers (they are nasty little things) on the net- I already knew what was gonna happen. I knew the Minkiller's identity- I knew about Sara's "disppearence" and I thought I was gonna be bored.

Well, I'll tell you now- the Minkiller ain't boring. The choice of actor was perfect, and managed to freak me out to no end while still being subtle. Let's just say he/she's not your typical serial killer.

But back to the main cast. William Petersen brought it home in this episode with an Emmy deserving performance as an extremely coocoo Grissom. And kudos to Marg, George, Gary and Eric for reactions that are utterly priceless.

And regarding Ms Fox- due to her screen time (or lack of it) in this episode, brings me to believe she's not going anywhere. Happy Days..........

Ok, so i didn't get intensely spoiled for this episode, so i didn't know what was going to happen beyond Sara getting kidnapped. I was literally almost screaming the entire episode. Natalie as the MCSK was perfect and the acting was so good. She was creepy, but not overdone. The episode had just enough energy and suspense to keep me interested, plus HOLLA for the GSR! Nice arm touch and Grissom totally loves her! Ok, so the ending almost gave me a heart attack. I was in shock for about half an hour. I'm not going to be able to make it through this summer!

Hmm now will Sara live or die???i personally think that she will live because i think that the since everyone found out about her relationship with Gil is a big story in itself and if she is killed off then her death will over-shadow their relationship. But then again it would be intersting to see how the rest of the team would react and if they would be different towards Gil if Sara died and they blamed him. And finially we found out who the Minature Killer is and as expected shes crazy!!!ok well thats not really fair but she is definately not well in the head!!but it was definately good to find out who had commited all these crimes and what kind of person she was in day-to-day life. can't wait until the next season to find out wat happens.

This episode was excellent, except for the cliffhanger ending. I was excited when we found out that Hodges actually did break the case in Lab Rats by figuring out the mini crime scene killer was set off by bleach. I also found it interesting that it was a girl, Natalie. I didn’t really like how they give out the killer’s identity almost right away in the episode, even if the team was a little slower figuring it out. I knew that Sara was going to be kidnapped by the MCSK, but I started to get really nervous when it started to get late in the episode and it hadn’t happened yet. I hate having to wait so long to figure out if Sara lives or dies. It was one of the questions I had been waiting for an answer for since about six months before when I had first read that Jorja Fox was having trouble deciding to sign for an eighth season. *sigh* It was so good, but WHY??? Why the cliffhanger ending?
  • The miniature killer is revealed.

I have to say that I love this season finale. Especially how the end was played out. I loved how the "miniature killer" turned out to be a female, who had mental problems that went back to childhood. Everything about this episode tied in to the storyline from the "killer" working at the crime lab to her being at the crime scene watching Grissom and Sara. The best part was the end when Grissom was interrogating her and he admitted he had a real admiration for her work. I wonder if the killer has an accomplice? A car like that would be heavy for one man, let alone a woman with a slender build like her. And now that Sara and Grissom's relationship is public, will that cost Grissom his career? I guess we have to find out next year.

WOW. I am speachless this is such a good episode. Keep em coming CBS. But don't kill off Sara. She and Grissom, WOW. This episode was creepy but really good. Amazing. Hopefully she tells Grissom were Sara is. Because if Sara dies then Grissom is going to go off the deep end, quit his job, off set the whole show and evientually destroying the entire series. But the idea of the MCSK was a pretty clever idea. To sum it all up, it was brilliantly creepy and upsetting. That was not cool making us wait 4 months to see what happens. Oh well, I guess theres nothing we can do now.

oh ok i loved it. it was good. I think the facet that the miniture killer was a femal just SO fit. i loved the park where she pushed her sister off the tree house and looked down & everything was....MINITURE! i do wish that there was more GSR in it but i suppose that there will be when shes rescued (not even going to think of the alternative sara can't die! shes like my fav person on there then grissom) i just KNEW that they were going to break the gsr news to the csi's in a way that they can't make a big deal about it right away. Grissom couldn't do it anyother way. the end really scared me where she imaginged cutting grissoms neck!! i was like......:O but then it reverted back and i was breathing sighs of relife. And with saras hand like clutching at the mud! oh that was sad. i thought she might be like hevily druged or something cause the car can't be resting on her surely (!) it would break her. also how did the miniture killer get sara to go with her?? shes kinda mousy and small so im not sure she could drag saras dead (plz no) weight into like a car, and sara wouldn't ever get in volentarily so.... drugged. you know im right :P
