While not a terrible episode, this is not one of the best I have ever seen. The problem I had with this episode is that it seemed not to go anywhere. There have been other episodes where the victim's death was unorthodox, but they seemed a bit more compelling. I did not feel very compelled with this episode and was not really interested as to where it was going. Ray and Nick's debate about the game of golf itself seemed a bit contrived. Nick saying that he thought all doctors played golf was unneccessary. This episode can probably be skipped.

Believe it or not, this was the first time I've ever watched CSI. I know it seems impossible, but in the show's lengthy history I just never had the time to tune in. I am a fan of CSI: NY but this was my first taste of the original.

I like CBS utilizing professional athletes on its shows (Pau Gasol in Numbers and CSI: Miami, Tito Ortiz in Numbers and countless golfers in this episode) and that is part of the reason I tuned in tonight. I may have tuned in for that, but I stayed for a really well-done episode. The show might be a little too high on showing the actual lab work and I think that is why the ratings are down this year, but this was a good episode with a nice twist near the end.

    Well worth watching.

An entire episode was devoted to a boring case of an even more boring sport -- not the writers' finest idea ever. The character interaction wasn't handled well, and all the interesting conversations (such as between Greg and Sara) were cut off before they could become interesting. The entire episode felt disjointed and the dialogue and jokes were forced. To top it all off, the conclusion was unsatisfactory and felt very rushed. They didn't even leave themselves enough time to explain exactly what the victim's handprints being on the club in that position meant. Perhaps it was an episode meant for hardcore golf shippers, but for an average viewer, it was just meh.
