  • The CSIs Lives Are On The Line As They Close On The Dr. Jekyll, And More Than One Of The CSIs May Not Live To See His Capture In The 10th Season Finale.

An excellent end to an excellent season. After the 9th season which had mostly bad episodes, I thought that CSI had lost it. However this season changed everything and it is my favorite season. I have not liked these serial killer plots (for example the Miniature Killer) because the investigation has not proceeded anywhere throughout the season, but I liked this Dr. Jekyll plot and glad that it reached its ending. The shootout with Dr. Jekyll, Langston and Nick was excellent and quite shoking too. The team moment in the hospital was funny but totally hated the ending. Anyway an excellent season finale!
  • The writers make Langston an idiot.

What kind of idiot turns his back on a serial killer while within arm's length, even when the killer is behind bars? Even if he had not made the shank, Haskell could have choked Langston and done serious damage.

They use multiple motorcycle policemen to escort the transport vehicle carrying Haskell to the CSI site, yet once he's there, they only have a single cop watching him? And when Langston is with him, there are no cops even around? At the very least, they should have used paint or tape to mark a safe distance to stand away from Haskell's enclosure.

Langston is a doctor, has been a professor, and now is a CSI. He's supposed to be a really smart guy. I hate it when writers write a supposedly intelligent character to be stupid, simply to make their job of coming up with a climax easier.
  • Good season finale

*spoilers ahead* I thought this was a wonderful episode to end the season. The last episode and this one all came together and I was really proud of the writers and actors for doing a fantastic job on the whole season, and especially this one. There was a lot of thrill in the two episodes and pretty much I didn't know what was going to happen, so that's good. I don't really like to watch shows that are predictable. But this show is amazing. And I love it so much.

There was a lot of things I liked of these episodes. I don't think there was anything I didn't like. I liked that Langston was getting caught up in this investigation. How people thought he was involved and how he refused to give them a DNA test. I thought the second episode to this " Meat Jerkyll" was very intense. Like seeing Nick get shot and after the commercial it saw him lying down with blood around him. But he was playing dead for Dr. Jerkyll and then he shot him, but I'm glad Nick isn't dead, I really like his character. I cant imagine CSI going on without him. I also thought this was all to the episode. It was very good... But then it showed Langston getting stabbed like I don't know... Like 10 times!!!! That was VERY shocking and I want to know in the next season if he's going to survive or not. Many people are saying that Langston is going to be dead and then Grisson is coming back. I don't know. We have to wait and see.

I love CSI! I just love after a decade it's still thrilling! I can't wait for it to come back again!
  • Quite good finale.........

In this episode of CSI, the following happens. When compared to last season's finale this was excellent. But when compared to the finale's we had when Grissom was in the show (which was also when the show was excellent), this was good. We finally track down Jekyll and when we learn who he is I was slightly let down. After all that build up, it's just deflated at the last huddle. Although it is nice now that, that storyline has been finished, but it wasn't as exciting as say the Miniature doll killer. Although it was nice to see Nick saving the day, by kill Jekyll. As the episode ends we see Ray with the Dick and Jane killer. When they are alone, even though he is behind bars, the killer still manages to attack Ray and we end with Ray lying in a pool of blood. Am I the only one hoping that he will die and that Grissom will come back??
  • In the Grissom days this wouldn't be such a great episode...but on a post-Grissom scale, this was a solid enough finale.

I probably should have given this a lower score...but I'm still loyal to this show for some reason, even though it often feels like a has-been. It still has that spark sometimes. And Langston got stabbed. What better final scene could I ask for?

The opening scene was neat, how Catherine went over Brass' head...I feel like they could have had a more intense argument though. It was good to see Sarah, she'd better be in the finale! It did seem like the Jekyll case moved forward a bit too quickly, but the stuff they discovered was interesting enough. Oh and I loved the reference to Catherine's stripper days. Hah.

What was kinda disappointing was that Jekyll ended up seeming like...well, kind of a loser. Definitely not as cool as the miniature killer. And when he shot Nick, Langston didn't seem to care -- plus, did Langston even have a gun? Eh, that whole scene could have been more intense.

What was intense though was the end. Langston got what we knew was coming...Brass was so right that it was a bad idea to bring in Haskell. Overall, a good finale versus recent episodes and much better than last season's finale...but nowhere near the quality of the Grissom days. The team will never be the same I guess. Greg will continue to be under-used, while Sarah is one-dimensional since her return, and Langston (who isn't even first or second in-charge) hogs all the glory.
  • The tenth season ends with the team closing in on the serial killer known as "Dr. Jekyll." The team, much to Brass' angst, enlists the help of another serial killer, Nate Haskell, to finally close the case.

The first full season without William Petersen was a solid one. "Meat Jekyll" was a fitting way to end the season, but it could have been better. Bill Irwin has done a good job as Nate Haskell, but how many more times are we going to see Hannibal Lecter clones? I think that plot device has run its course. The whole scene where Haskell tricks the guard into shocking him had too much of an air of contrivance for me to buy it. Didn't anybody notice that one of the ear pieces to Haskell's glasses was missing after they broke?

we watch csi because we think it might be based on real case files. i have seen many things in life. csi teaches one how to be observaent of what is going on around us. how to collect and perserve evdience if we should be an unfortnuate victim of a crime. how to help police rather then hender an invistigation. just being able to get a good description of the criminal just by watching what they do and how they do it as for this series i thought it was excellent and superb acting. we watch the re runs also. it is time well worth being spent. We have favorites as far as the characters as well.
