Warrick: How do you want us to handle this?
Grissom: Same way you'd eat an elephant... one bite at a time.
-
Grissom: Hey, Jim! Did you know that Charles Manson is only five foot two?
Brass: Yeah, little guys tend to overcompensate.
-
Grissom (about the surveillance camera): Just because it shows nothing doesn't mean it's not seeing everything.
-
Brass: Fromansky's getting a commendation, what do you think?
Grissom: 2 dead felons, 2 dead civilians, 1 dead policeman, I don't know what to think.
-
Warrick: You know Hodges already analyzed trace on the bullet.
Grissom: Yeah, well I wanted to take a look for myself.
Warrick: He'll take it personal.
Grissom: Good.
-
Officer Fromansky: Before this goes any deeper I wanna hear it from you, are you gonna try and screw me on this? (Grissom doesn't say anything) Well?
Grissom: Well, I guess that depends on whether or not I get stuck in traffic on the way to your hearing.
-
Grissom: Tell me what you see.
Warrick: A getaway.
-
(Watching Fromansky get questioned through the glass)
Brass: If he says yes, he's a bad cop. If he says no, he's a liar.
Grissom: Maybe he really doesn't know what happened.
-
Officer Formanski: What I said in my statement is the truth.
Grissom: The truth is we have a dead civilian with your bullet in her.
-
Warrick: Hey, Grissom, we got a problem.
Grissom: Only one?
-
Grissom: 18 bullets, a total of 26 shells, and 72 pellets. Enjoy.
(Walks into his office and Sara and Warrick scoff)
-
(After he just took a bullet out of a victim)
Doc Robbins (holding out two little bags to Warrick): Paper or plastic? (Warrick smirks)
-
Warrick: You know this guy hit a 75 dollar jackpot. He was probably shovin' quarters in his pockets when this whole thing went down.
Sara: The door was 20 feet away, he probably coulda made a run for it.
Warrick: You know after that MGM Grand fire they found people fused to their slot machines. Some people never even made it outta their seats. This guy thought it was his lucky day, I'm sure he wasn't gonna leave without his money.
