I'm pretty sure the reason this episode is so great is a) shirtless Nick b) shirtless Warrick (almost) and c) the little dorky guy that's being hazed outdoes everyone and gets the main guys girlfriend to sign his....well you know, you've seen the episode. Hooray for underdogs! Granted he does die...but still. The only thing that could make this episode better was shirtless Greg, but I don't think even I could work that into the storyline of this particular episode, but I'm still pushing for a nice shot of his abs sometime soon! ('4x4' doesn't really count, there wern't any really good shots).
this was a good episode. nothing out of the ordinary but very well written when it came to the scenes with the boyfriend and the husband.
pretty much a girl gets killed in a boat on a lake while travelling between her boyfriends and husbands house. the husband didnt know about the boyfriend so he thinks its her that kills her - if my memory serves me well i think it turned out to be an accident.
the husband however sees fit to hold the boyfriend at his house cause he blames him - great twist when it turns out to be an accident as you always expect to find a killer at the end - was very surprising as i was thinking this is too obvious.
the case for the pledgin was sad as the teenager was my age and thats always a scary thought!
This was an alright episode but it definitely wasn't my favorite. I actually thought it was pretty sad how the kid just wanted to fit in and ended up dead by some dumb prank. And to make matters worst they tried to cover it up by making it a suicide. The women with the missing leg story kind of had a nice little twist at the end because for a moment, I couldn't tell who killer her, the husband or the guy she was cheating on him with. Nice little twist. Grissom has this weird way about him but he always manages to figure it out.
Catherine investagates a murder...severed leg found in a lake. Then sara and nick investagate a possible sucide- murder. I like how Nick is- was in a feternity and you hear about it in this episode i think it made it way better because Nick had an insight on what really goes on in a frat house and he could relate to them in ways. So it ended up being hazing gone wrong the guy choked to death and they hung him so it looked like he killed him self so that they wouldnt be to blame for what happened. All around a good episode.
This is one of my favorite episodes of the first season. The main case involves a severed leg that was found in the lake. The body that goes with that leg is soon recovered, and Gil and Catherine begin investigating and learn that the woman was involved in an affair.
Nick and Sarah, meanwhile, are investigating the supposed suicide of a fraternity pledge, but it is quickly discovered that it wasn't suicide. Nick and Sarah learn that the fraternity brothers were hazing (which is illegal) and try to discover exactly what happened.
This episode had a lot of good and interesting moments and I was interested in both cases. The ending of the episode was particularly good and a bit dark.
This Episode Was An Interesting One! Only Just Started To Watch CSI So Will Wait And See If It Gets Better! Good Story Line And Has A Really Interesting And Good Cast! Well to start with it is the making of a good episode when near the start we see Nick topless and abit of Warriks body come on who couldn't accept this as a good episode then and there. But the whole episode is good i like the way we see the difference between Grissom and Catherine and their methods of finding the boat but it is also sweet the way Grissom lets Ctherine take all the credit for finding it even though we see that he has found where it would be as well. Nick and Saras case was also good and not very nice as we find out the reason and the way the boy died.
Grissom's and Catherine's case was good... I guess... I liked the part where Grissom did one thing to figure out where the boat was and Catherine did another. Nick and Sara's case made me laugh though it wasn’t nice how someone died, but then it wouldn’t be CSI if someone died. I was glad to see Warrick admitting about the judge and getting help with it. I liked the plot arch the existed for a while but I’m glad to see it resolved and not merely forgotten about.
The best part of the episode was when Sara walked in on Warrick and Nick changing. That part was easily the best part of the episode and may just be one of the best moments of the season. Who doesn’t like shirtless Nick and nearly shirtless Warrick? Not me!
I absolutely love this episode on so many levels. I’ll start with the Nick and Sara case. Pledge Boy ends up dead. The coroner finds writing on his “Johnson” (hence the title) and this leads to a nice investigation of the frat.
However, my favorite part of this episode is the case Grissom and Catherine investigate. Through this case we find out Grissom knew about Eddie’s cheating and didn’t tell Catherine (something she hasn’t forgotten or forgiven). We see Grissom convince Catherine to put on a dead woman’s skin with a look. We see their argument about “personal stuff” in the lab parking lot (oh wait, Grissom doesn’t do that---yeah he does, with Catherine). And we get this great make up scene in the lab when they are figuring out what happened to the woman.
The case is cool. Catherine tells the victim’s husband about her affair with a suspect. By the time the truth comes out (death was an accident) it is too late. The husband has shot his wife’s lover.
Only one problem with this episode…how does Catherine know where Gil’s big screen tv is?
About a kid who dies becasue he wants to be in a frenity and goes horriably wrong. The other case is the death of a women in the lake and the suspects were husband and boyfreind.
When the episode orginaly aired on TV I rememer how upset I was when they did flashbacks of that kid dying. I know it happens all the time but that case was just to painfull. I finaly got the nerve to watch it again in re-runs on Spike Tv.
