  • A very good episode with a sad ending.

    8.5
    "Great"
The episode finishes with Grissom saying he would have liked not to solve the case. It starts with two death people, a man and a woman in Koreatown neighborhood and a disappeared child. Nick and Railey find the little kid in a house of the neighbourhood and Grissom gets information about the kid who had being treated to avoid the development of AIDS. The death people were the boy's mum and uncle.

The episode is really good with an interesting plot and some theories about what realy happened. That's why I say the ending is sad because although the child tries to incriminate the man his mum and him lived with, Grissom and Railey discover that what the kid says can't be possible because the evidences say the child is lying. The poor kid finishes in the reformatory.

In this episode of CSI, the following happens. The team are called in when people (a man and a woman) are killed in a Korean town in Vegas. When a pair of children's sunglasses are found at the crime scene, covered in blood, it becomes obvious that the child is missing and may be in danger, so the team try to track him down. We soon learn that the male victim was realised from prison that very morning, the team have no id on the female victim. The team are soon led to believe that the male victim may have a son, but he turns out to be his nephew. The team soon believe that this nephew maybe be the little boy who witnessed the murders. The team soon find the boy and take him to the hospital, for him to be checked over. We soon learn that the little boy has HIV and has a tube attached to his stomach for his medication. When the drugs in his system are run they learn that most of the drugs the little has been taken are from a clinical trial. When this becomes known Grissom and Child services put a stop to all experimental treatment on the boy. We soon learn that the woman with no ID is actually the boy's mother. They were both killed by his mother's boyfriend. But soon the evidence supports the theory that both of them killed each other. So they set up a re-enactment to get the facts right. From the re-enactment we see that the boy was the one who killed his mother after she killed his uncle. At the end we see the little 8 year old boy being taken into police custody.
  • Grissom and his team are called to Koreatown to investigate the shooting deaths of the mother and uncle of an eight year-old boy.

This is a good episode of "CSI" though I would not rank it as one of my favorites. The script is very well written. I do like how it keeps the viewer guessing on what the outcome of the investigation will be and comes to a conclusion I'm sure very few or no viewers thought would occur. The actor who plays the HIV positive boy at the center of the investigation is very good in this episode. What I did not care for is the old and tried plot device involving the doctor who represents the heartless, evil drug companies.
  • Twist and turns....

I have to agree with Grissom. I'm sorry they solved this case. From the beginning I felt so sorry for an innocent little boy. I appreciated the challenge with the Korean community. I thought the differing twists from mother and uncle and who wanted what was best for the child. Then to learn he is simply being used as a human guinea pig I ofund it just appalling. It's no wonder that he was pushed to the brink of taking his own destiny in his hands. Brass was right, at least in juvenile detention he'll get the care and protection he needs. But at what a cost.

CSI really has so many emotional episodes this season and they have totally different atmosphere than last year and by surprisingly I like it.. I am not sure what happens when Grissom leaves but last year I was giving up on this show and now I have no thoughts like that.

But this episode - the way it starts, looking like little Asian paradise and then those shoots and the whole story. It has misunderstandment, shocking story turns like the bomb and old woman with gun and no way - the ending when the solved the case.. the way Grissom said he wish they did not solved it.. it was heart breaking.. Beautiful episode.
