  • Sqweegel, A Serial Killer Who Is Punishing Local Heroes That Harbor Hidden Secrets, Is On The Hunt In Las Vegas.

A perfect episode. Just what CSI needed after the first three episodes. This is the most exciting episode of CSI to date. Even better than Grave Danger. So the CSI:s meet the new face of evil, who wears and kills in a black latex suit. The episode includes action and investigation. The killer brought me the chills because he is so creepy. Even though the final attack is prevented and the case still remains open, I think it was better that the CSI crew did not catch him. When Ray said in the end that who is the real Sqweegel, we were left to a great mystery. The music in this episode is the best throughout the series. It was announced that Sqweegel makes a return to the 12th season of CSI. I hope that he gets the second episode that was promised. If he gets the second episode, I hope that it will be just as good as this episode.

This episode was a huge improvment over 11x01 and 11x03. The start was creepy, something i have never seen before in CSI. The idea of a forensic proof serial killer was great, again something CSI has never done before. It was different and i loved that they didn't catch him despite all the evidence they had. Sqweegel himself was very creepy espically as everything he did was done by the worlds most flexible man. Its great it wasn't special effects. I really liked the motives behind the killings. Knowing everybodies secrets giving them an oppurtunity to confess. This would make a very good serial killer because everybody in Vegas has a secret. I am writing this after watching the finale. I have found out the sqweegel will be a focus of season 12. I think he will target the team particually Brass because of how they handled Haskells killing. To sum up this was a perfect episode. Full of suspence, they didn't catch him. I reminded me of the old school CSI.

  • Really creepy

I still think the show needs Grissom, or a stronger boss, it still captures me and this episode took me back to the early seasons.

Few CSIs and it looks that they could need another female presence. I missed Sara this time, but still the 4 of them managed to work well together. I felt Catherine weaker this time, even when she's the boss she was letting the rest take over instead of her. The subplot of the latex serial killer is pretty appealing. I guess when you have a show that has lasted this long, with the same format, either you come up with great stories every week or you create a story within the main one to make it more interesting. I dare say it worked for me and I liked it.
  • Anthony E. Zuiker is quite obviously borrowing heavily from his book "Level 26".

The name of his serial killer is Sqweegel, he does his killings in a head-to-toe latex suit (though in the book, it's white and made by the guy himself), and he's a contortionist.

There are just enough differences to hopefully keep the publisher from being grumpy, but the whole thing leaves a slightly bad taste in my mouth. It's one thing to let a movie, a book, or real-life events be your inspiration, it's entirely another to lift wholesale from a book, even if it's your own.

I do, however, look forward to see where the general storyline goes, i.e. the heroes of Vegas who hold secrets being killed, and who the killer turns out to be.
  • As near perfect as CSI can be.

In response to meathead704. If you had seen videos of Daniel Browning-Smith (the Sqweegel performer) in action, you would not be wondering how he could fit into a spare tyre compartment. He can dislocate just about every joint in his body and can fit into the tiniest of boxes. In fact, he is the current Guinness World Record holder for having the most flexible body. Search for him on YouTube. This is the CSI I grew to love and miss when Langston hopped on board. This season has (thus far) made a refreshing change from the endless Langston character studies from season ten. I thought Sqweegel was brilliant from start to finish. The creepy atmosphere established at the beginning, lingered until the end. The very thought of some perverted stranger sleeping under your bed, watching your every move, and plotting to kill you, sends shivers up the spine. I really hope they make Sqweegel the season's main villain. He is original and is (to me) a lot more menacing than Dr. Jeckyll from last season. The acting was superb too. Especially Ann Margret towards the end when she admits to killing her son. The only thing I had a problem with was the way in which Sqweegel spied upon his victims from the attic. How anyone would not notice a great big hole in their ceiling is beyond me. Apart from that, I cannot fault this episode.
  • To be continued? Or is it just that they don't catch the bad guy?

Not a bad episode (I gave it 8 points, mind you), at least much better than the previous episode (I can't buy that there are people that believe they are vampires or werewolves, but, hey, these americans are crazy, as Obelix would have said).

The creepy killer is interesting and it seems he will come back again (I hope so, since the other alternative is that the police let him go away with murder). I found weird the way he walks/crawls but, well, is psycho killer dressed in latex so don't ask for reasonable actions.

What pissed me most of the episode was the way Langston figures that Ian Moone is an anagram for "I am no one". Please! English is not my native language and I solved it as soon as I saw it written on screen, with no need to put it down on a notebook and solve it like is high cryptography. You just have to switch the N and the M and you get it! Iam noone! I am no one!

Also I found not quite convincing that the little girl is so absent that she didn't realize until it was too late that her mother was being slayed. OK, little kids live in their own world and she had headphones on but... in a small space like the inside of a car you have to notice that your mum is being killed, no matter how stealthy the killer is.

Said all this, I log off.

OK. So we have another serial killer on the loose. It seems Vegas is full of them. This time it is not a average serial killer. This guy has a mission. He wants the truth. And he is willing to do anything to achieve his goal. The story was entertaining but very unrealistic. A serial killer with such flexibility? Moving around like a spider or something? Nevertheless the idea of a killer leaving no trace behind is exciting. I would like to know more about his other victims, not only Margot Wilton. Well, I suppose he will be back. And probably he will target Langston next because - as we all know - Ray has a really bad luck.

I admit that I don't like Ray. But I feel justified. I liked him at first when he was rookie but after just few episodes he became omniscient. And now it gets more and more annoying. Let's forget the choking last week. This time it is Ray who:

-gives Catherine and Nick a lecture (sandglass). Are they more experienced than him or not?

-is the first to deduce that the killer attacks twice, and that first time is a warning, that Ian Moone is an anagram, and so on.

-finds dead guy under Margot's bed. The killer could still be in the house. Shouldn't he have a gun to come inside? And obviously he can't walk properly jet but he can lift a bed?

Why do I have a feeling that Ray is leading the investigation and everyone one else is just there to help a little?

This episode was, IMO, one of the best that this season has churned out. I simply loved the idea of a killer with a reasonable cause who's roaming the streets and looking for anyone and everyone in the height of public opinion who has a deep, dirty secret to hide. I've always thought that people in government and even prominent people in our own lives have things that they do and have done that aren't exactly saintly and this episode plays that up to the max. I want to see where this mystery takes the show (because I have a feeling that we haven't seen the last of Ian Moore).
  • Is exactly the CSI that i want to!

This episode was really creepy, after a bad episodes, Anthony E. Zuiker, and her co-worker Carol mendelsohn, are a geniuses, Sqweegel, was a good episode, probably, the best of the season so far, and i think this is the formula to be again the CSI that all we want.

A killer, in disguise, try to do justice, after a "Heroes' City" hide horrible secrets, to the point of try to threaten them.

If they don't accept them own mistakes, he try to pay them, kill them. It leaves a "To be Continued" i hope that in other episodes he'll appear, and be the "Serial Killer from the CSI' 11st season".

I predicted that this episode was going to be a great chapter and I wasn´t wrong, I enjoyed this one since it started.

Finally we are getting a good episode after the last week abysmal one, this time with the appearance of a very curious serial killer, I really want to know more about him who in my opinion, would be more interesting than Dr. Jeckil.

the only thing I didn´t like here was the scene where sqweegel persued that woman running like a spider, it was a little unrealistic, but it doesn´t matter when we are getting a good chapter after four bad consecutive episodes.

  • A wealthy widow known for her humanitarian efforts, is attacked in her own home by an intruder brandishing a straight edge razor. Things are made harder for the CSIs when it's discovered the attacker wore a latex body suit which left no evidence.

This is a good episode of CSI. One of the stonger ones of this early point in the season. Ann-Margret has a brief, but memorable guest appearance in this episode. The scenes of the killer's attacks are very well staged and even frightening. Unfortunately, the killer is also this episode's biggest liability. I had a lot of trouble buying the fact that he was able to hide himself in the spare tire well in the second victim's SUV. I know he is supposed to be a controtionist, but come on. The body suit looks too goofy. He's the human condom.
  • Creepy, suspenseful, and a 'To Be Continued'...

Don't you just hate those episodes where you know they aren't going to catch the guy before the hour runs up. This is unfortunately one of those episodes. The whole episode is quite creepy, but it is also very interesting. As the mystery of who the killer is goes forward, more mysteries about the victims unfold. By the end of the episode, we only know about the victim's mysteries, but really nothing of the killer.

The killer seems quite creepy and it was very disturbing. The epiode had my full attention. A very good CSI. Let's hope they catch this guy.
