  • Very wacky! I loved it!

The gags dispersed throughout this episode made it very enjoyable, I thought! Especially seeing the Mythbusters make a cameo! That's one of my other favorite shows, so it made me laugh! Some people may think it took away from the show, but the jokes more or less added to the entertainment value of the episode. Whoever wrote this one is quite a wacky guy.

The green blood thing was a little bit of a stretch to me at the beginning, but it was explained, so I guess I'll buy it.

Also, incorporating the String Theory at the beginning and the end of the episode was an interesting thought. Maybe we are all connected by invisible strings. A little food for thought...

Anyway, I loved The Theory of Everything. Personally I enjoyed it very much! Well done!
  • Almost back to its best

From the off, you will not be able to catch your breath as the pace in this episode doesnt abate from start to finish. The start is one of the best ever, with so much going on. You wont be able to decipher what events or clues are pertinent to the investigation and even if you guess you are bound to be surprised as the plot progresses.

What I found enjoyable was the way in which the trail of clues leads to the next, and the next one and so on. Until it comes full circle and meld into the other crime be investigated. The appearance of Hodges out in the field is long overdue. Lets hope that he gets his chance to do more fieldwork - he loves it really.

However, I do have some concerns with this episode. Much like most of the other epsiodes this season, alot of the plots just dont seem fresh. Dialogue is not pushing its boundaries as previous seasons have. While the writers strike can probably be blamed, the show better sharpen up.

With two more episodes to go, this is one of the best examples of the season, so youd do well to watch.
  • Theory for Everything...

This was really amazing episode. I was nailed to the screen from the first seconds as it started to get weird from the start and with every minute, the story became more and more fascinating and exciting. The way those looked like random cases where connected and some really little things like those squirrels mattered and made so huge different. It was just so well written. Great plot.

And the ending, when Grissom is explaining his point of view - it was fascinating text and logic. So, to sum up I think it can be said that this was one of the best CSI episodes over long time...
  • A little wacky, full of odd coincidences, and an awesome cameo.

10 out of 10 just for the cameo for the guys from Mythbusters. Even though they didn't have any lines, it was just perfect. A 2 minute spot! :>

I am impressed that CSI writers can still come up with something new that hasn't been done before. With the huge popularity of crime shows now I bet it's getting difficult to think things up. But so far I have been extremely impressed the past 2 seasons.

This episode actually only had one murder. The rest were all unfortunate and coincidental accidents. The strange relationships between the victims were almost beating the odds. But I also love how they incorporated string theory into it all. Well done!

    An intelligent show for sure!

This is exactly why I watch this series. Our team has found time to forget about their problems (Warrick with his case, Grissom with Sarah) and finally work a case that is too weird to start with. What's so nice also is that our lab techs are finally getting more funny scenes. I love that David cry over the death of the deer dressed up in tutu. The disturbing conversation of Hodges and Wendy about Star Trek - disturbing because it just shows that this two has so little life outside the lab. And I hope Hodges and Wendy finally gets to be together now that Hodges moves out of his mothers house (haha!).

I was just a little disappointed that David did not react much when he saw the green blood. I mean, he was into UFOs theory (remember how he freaked out on that case of an alien priest died?) That could have been a funny scene. Also that they did not much linger on the fact that it could have been an unexplained alien thingy and move on explaining that the green blood was caused by sulfur on the blood.

Anyway, it is a great episode all in all. Makes me remember why Im always looking forward every week to watch it.
  • Most fun on CSI this season!

CSI has been losing it's way a little this season... there hasn't been a lot of continuity from week to week... So I really enjoyed the silliness of this episode.

All the odd connections between the cases was well thought out without being predictable... the events were plausible and fun to watch... kept me wondering where is this going...

It was great the way everyone had something to contribute to the story and to the case... The Star Trek bit between Hodges and Wendy... and I LOVED the final scene in Grissom's office...

But the BEST part of the episode was Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage from MythBusters making a cameo appearance... it was fun and totally fit into the vibe of this episode!

Can't wait for next week when the writers from Two and a Half Men take control... Should be another fun ride!

I actually found myself really into this episode even though it was out the normal. I really appreciated the fact of ALL of the cases where linked and somehow connected. The green blood was actually pretty interesting little twist, especially seeing there was a believeable reason behind it. I loved the intereaction between the team and the lab techs. Each bringing a little bit more to the case. The final scene with the team in Gil's office was great. Very teacher and student oriented, Gil forever the teacher. But as Nick says "Grissom's explainations are better than bedtime stories." Which it's true.

Starts off with a crazy lady in tin foil in the CSI building. She bumps into Nick. Brass interviewing a suspect. Brass says that she is down stairs in autopsy; it turns out to be a deer dressed up in a dress. Nick gives him a breathe test and he makes a run for it. One cop sprays him and another then tries to tazer him after he bumps into crazy lady and he catches on fire. So the team try to figure out how he died. Then find crazy lady dead, but she has green blood. There is hen another 419 with green blood. He is found with eye buds and three pars of sunglasses on. Greg then finds the murder weapon. The team discover that the burn victim's parents are suing as they have evidence it is then discovered that there is footage on line of the death.

Catherine is called in when a couple in their 60's both died in bed together. During the autopsy they both wear pace makers. Also learn that doc has a pace maker. Print on murder weapon belongs to David Bohr. They got o arrest him ad he is claiming self-defence. He also has green blood. Greg thinks that both cases are connected. He had brain tumour. – David Bohr. Also all insides were green.

Old couple killed with Cyanide. The burnt guy was the jewellery makes ex. She has access to cyanide. She killed the squirrels and the cat (accident) but not the couple. They were killed by their carpet. The squirrel went under the house and chewed on a wire which set a fire under the old carpet which released a gas which killed them. So basically everyone was connected. Overall an ok story and episode, but I thought the story was too drawn out and a little bit boring. Put it this way, I started watching it over 14 hours ago and have now only just finished watching it. But not as bad as the comedy episode after Sarah left, but its close.
  • A very entertaining and fast-paced episode

This is another great 'standalone' episode in season 8 which, as I have said in previous reviews, is really great to see considering the writers' strike. The storyline requires the viewer to suspend reality even more than usual with its crazy opening 'spontaneous combustion' death to the victims with green blood. I enjoy these kinds of episodes, but only if they are done well – which this one happens to be. Episodes like this one, which are less based on possible events, I always enjoy how the science aspect takes over as it creates a more interesting atmosphere to the episode which in turn allows me, as a viewer, to forget the odd storyline.

It was also great to see a bit more of Greg in this storyline, as he has been seriously lacking this season. Also, a return to a double-murder episode was also good to see as it means all the characters get enough screentime, especially as the two stories interlaced – creating more character reaction. Hodges is also growing on me a little more, he is an annoying character but I like how the rest of the CSI team see that and tease him incessantly because of it.

The csi team must investigate several murders involving green blooded victims. the search for answers and try to see if the crimes are contected. this is a very odd episode especially with the killing of the cat part as well as the ground squirrel part. it was kinda strange that a ground squirrel was killer because it would have seemed like the lady who killed the neighbors cat would kill them too because she was mad at them. it was strange how grisom used the string theroy to show how everything connected. overall this episode was just to strange for my tastes.

In an episode where a police officer makes a mistake, their is less urgency (it seemed to me) for these guys to get to the bottom of things. Okay, it is CSI and not Law and Order. The show was cleverly plotted tying all the cases (cases=deaths) that appeared in the show. Grissom explains it all at the end, scientifically and philosophically as well. I would say this is the type of episode we've come to expect. Plenty of twists and turns and just when you thought you had it all figured out...BANG! Wrong again. Not one as intense as the miniature killer, but certainly not boring or plodding.

I do like how they've been expanding the Wallace Langham's role of Hodges. Character development was used this week to show some of his fears and their is a hilarious line from Grissom regarding the color, ahem, of his nose.

By the way, their was an appearence (silent as it was) by the two guys from "Mythbusters". Their role was certainly something they could identify with.
