Goof: During the robbery, when the lady grabs her son. There is a visible reflection of the boom-mic and the operator in the teller glass.
Goof: When Grissom takes out the evidence box to dust the detonator for fingerprints, he puts the whole fortune cookie into his mouth and disappears a few seconds later.
In this episode, Greg has 2 ace bandages: one on his cheek, and the other on his neck. There is no doubt that these are for his injuries in the previous episode, "Play with Fire".

When Grissom says to Sara "Honey, this doesn't look good", "Honey" wasn't in the script, Petersen added it on his own.
Goof: When Sara and Nick are searching the house, there was no wrap under Sara's glove but it's on when she had the gun drawn.
Goof: When the CSIs turn "Juliet" over, she is clearly seen blinking.
Goof: The DB in the desert is in funeral pose. Sara notices something on his hands, which are laid one on the other in a close shot. Cut to a wide shot and the top hand is off the other. Cut again to a close shot and it is once again atop the other.
Goof: When Sara and Warrick are looking at the dead girl in the prom dress, she is turned over by the coroners and her hands are almost touching straight above her head. But when the shot changes, her arms have moved quite far apart.
Goof: When Grissom is in the horse stall, one shot shows the door closed to Grissom's back. Cut to the next shot (a closer shot through the door) and it's open.
Goof: At the end of the episode, as Michael Borland approaches Grissom, he's rubbing his left wrist with his right hand when seen from the front, but his right arm is down by his side as seen from behind.
The brand name of the bottled water poisoned in this episode, "Innoko", is the name of a wildlife refuge in Alaska.
Goof: When the exhumed body is turned over, the "corpse" obviously wiggles to get into the proper position.
Goof: When Warrick enters the convenience store, just after entering he passes in front of a California Lotto Kiosk.
Goof: When Brass and the others go to the house of the woman who was hanged, they hear an "off the hook" signal from inside the house, alerting them that something is wrong. Unfortunately, every phone system that I have ever used plays this signal for only two to three minutes before lapsing into silence. Since the woman had been dead longer than that, it is unlikely the signal would still be sounding. However, it did provide a reason for them to enter the house.
Goof: During the flashbacks of the shooting in the shed we see the video camera lens being shot out before the boy is shot. The monitor in the lab showing the video tape made at the scene, however, shows the boy lying on the ground when the camera has already been destroyed.
At the beginning of the episode, we see the people watching the film. From the back, two of the heads look like Grissom and Catherine.
Goof: When Sara and Catherine are viewing Christian Cutler's DOD record, Christian's name is spelled 'Christian' everywhere except the bottom, where it's misspelled 'Christain.'
