In a previous episode, Catherine's friend, Laura, mention that Catherine had been working for 22 years, when Catherine mentioned that she was working for 20.
When Catherine said good bye she sais that she'd been there for 19 years. But in the season 9 episode, If I had a Hammer, it was mentioned that Catherine had been there for 18 years. So that means she should have been at the lab for 21-22 years.
Nick: What are you saying?
Catherine: That I've been offered another job. With the FBI. I've decided to take it.
Catherine: Well, it's effective immediately. I...tendered my resignation. For real this time. You are all family... which is why... this is the hardest decision I've ever made. I mean, how could I leave this place? How could I leave all of you? But not only are you in great hands... but you... are a rock-solid, bad-ass team of criminalists, and don't ever forget it.
Nick: We all just love you, Catherine. And, you know, even though you're leaving, you'll always be here with us, always.
Laura: I take what I want. You put everyone else first, because that's the easier way. You'd rather accept the life you have... than risk having the life you want.
Catherine: You're never gonna see the outside world again, Laura. Tell me whose life you'd rather have now.
Agent Pratt: Hey, wait up. I never got a chance to say this, but you really kicked ass last night.
Agent Pratt: Listen, Russell's right. McQuaid had feelings for you. But I think there was something else, too. I think that he saw in you what he used to be.
Catherine: What was that?
Agent Pratt: Someone with integrity. Someone who wouldn't give up. The kind of agent that the Bureau needs.
Catherine: Are you asking me out on a date, or offering me a job?
D.B.: How you doing? You all right?
Catherine: Well, considering I've been shot in my side and cauterized by a hooker's curling iron, yeah, I guess so.
Kitty: Hey, if there's any revolving credit, it's mine. I'm the one who spotted that guy in that raincoat. Knew his ass was up to no good.
Catherine: Yeah, thank you for that call. What tipped you off?
Kitty: Honey, in that neighborhood, the only suit a man wears under his trench coat is his birthday suit.
D.B.: Spoken like a trained observer.

The ultimate allusion in this episode was the final scene between Catherine and Morgan. It was a throwback to the scene in the Pilot episode between Catherine and Holly Gribbs.
