A fairly strong episode, well constructed. As youd expect most locations swing from the crime lab and the correctional facility where the victim was incarcerated. Nothing new with the locations, yet do work well to set the visual setting of the crime scene and the world of our suspects.

Dialogue is above average as to what youd expect to hear from CSI. Plotwise, the idea behind an escaping convict is a plausible red herring, and yet we almost certainly know that there is more to it than meets the eye. In this regard the early part of the episode does a splendid job of building up the driver/guard as the culprit, once a failed escape is discounted. This line of inquiry is promoted moreso when we discover the pregancy of the vic.

However, the finale does this episode justice. The simple dismssed, callous disregard for life by the victims apparent soulmate, over jealously worked for me! This twist though predictable was nicely done.

A solidly good episode.moreless

Back in town, Warrick probes the death of a gambler who was stabbed multiple times in his brother's kitchen. i work at a prison and this episode kinda hit home . did the young lady try to escape or was she murdered I am not telling great episode.moreless
