Elizabeth Berkley has proven to be a very welcome addition to CSI: Miami. Her performances have been consistently good and make the show all the more worth watching. Seeing Horatio and Julia play against each other is very entertaining. In this episode we see that even a ruthless and scheming person like Julia has a heart in that she had Horatio arrested to prevent her boyfriend from killing him. However there was a slight flaw in this episode and that flaw's name is Kyle. His whining is getting a little too much and he is very irritating. Enough said there.moreless
After some very disappointing, boring episodes, such as "Dangerous Son", "Born to Kill", "High Octane", "Deviant", you will like to watch this episode!! This is, in my opinion, the best episode ever in this series. I love this episode and I'm glad that this is only the first part. When you watch the third and fourth season, you find out that CSI: Miami is a very boring and disappointing series. But now, everything change. Every since Kyle Harmon (Horatio's son) appeared in this series, this show is getting better and better. The producer should just put Kyle in the credits. I love this episode, awesome!!!!!!!!!!moreless
Well, once again I see that not watching previews is probably the best thing about watching a show in the world. I only knew that H. was going to be arrested for murder because I was so dumb to read reviews for 'You May Now Kill The Bride' and someone was so dumb to write it in there. No offence to whoever it was, but it really did spoil the fun of not knowing what was going to happen in a minute. The plot was AMAZING. The Calleigh/Cooper/Ryan plot, Horatio/Julia/Kyle plot and the murder investigation. It's much for one episode, but wasn't too much, just fine. Julia is trying to tempt H. again. Did anyone but me notice her blouse? It had no neckline, it was more of a boobs-line... I couldn't help staring at her breasts myself, haha. She is harassing him, not the opposite. But Kyle seems to see it differently... I want more nooooooow!moreless
Horatio's ex-wife is one b*tchy lady (I seriously can't type this in full? I'm sorry, that's ridiculous). Horatio goes to Brazil to have a 20word conversation.Cooper takes revenge by compromising Calleigh. Big time. With awful consequences.moreless
I promised myself I wouldn't give episodes such high rates as I usually do (because after a while, you just can't go higher) That's what I promised myself. Then this awesome episode of CSI Miami came along and all my good resolutions disappeared like snow in the sun. You know which episode I'm talking about, I'm writing a review for it right now: 'Ambush' Anyone who didn't like this episode? Mail me. Seriously, this was one hell of an episode. No flashy new camera stands, just plain old csiM investigation work (even Horatio pulled out his dusty old lab coat in the search for fingerprints on tape) And that wife of his, isn't she ... a doll. And are those BOOBS real? I'm sure I'm not the only one with this very important question. Anyhow, back to the episode. Cooper is out of line and I appreciated that Calleigh went to talk to him, but you could just see he wasn't buying it. He just wasn't. And that's too bad really, because I actually liked his character and I hoped that one way or another he could help the team and get back in the show again 'one way or another'. Well I certainly didn't expect THIS. The last moment of Horatio was kinda... crucial and then Calleigh lying on the floor scared to death (great acting work by miss Procter that one second)But that's not what I loved best. I loved best... Eric! He was awesome! Threatening Cooper, telling him he would come back and kill him if something had happened to her (=Calleigh). He SO has a thing for her. Amazing episode, I can't wait to see the 'sequel'. And seriously, watch it!! Thanx for reading (PS And don't mind Ryan, he looks like the Easter Bunny. Nice tie)moreless
In the first of a two part episode, Horatio once again has to tangle with his b!tch of an ex, Julia, who has it out for him. You know I really dislike having to look at her ugly, elongated face every episode and she's a recurring guest which is annoying. Anyway sje brings in a lot storylines and tension so there's a plus side to her presence. The Brazil part was a little pointless however. Someone is out to get Calleigh and is compromising their investigation in the process which was a really thrilling B-plot. And the ending was superb with a shot being heard and Calleigh's gagged face appearing for a split second was superbly filmed. The bad thing was the conclusion in the second part but that's another story...moreless
Horatio is shipped down to Brazil to face murder charges in the death of Antonio Riaz. The episode where Horatio originally went to Brazil in pursuit of Antonio for the death of his wife, Marisol, and where he fought with him resulting in his death took place in Season 5, Ep 1: Rio.
Edit
When Calleigh was confronting Dan Cooper about the stolen memory card, he refers back to when he was fired because of using Tim Speedle's credit card after Tim's death. This happened in Season 6, Ep 4: Bang, Bang, Your Debt. Dan created his website mocking Calleigh to get back at her for being the one who got him fired.
Edit
Nitpick: There would have been no choice about arresting Cooper once it was determined he stole departmental property and obstructed the investigation.

Chief Braga: Lieutenant Caine. I have to admit, I never thought we'd see you back in Rio.
Horatio: Why am I here?
Chief Braga: We needed time to build a case.
Horatio: And somebody made it worth your while, right, Chief?
Chief Braga: I do not like what you are implying. You hunted down and killed Antonio Riaz. That is why you're here.
Horatio: He murdered my wife.
Chief Braga: And so you murdered him.
Horatio: Chief, let's just say that Mr. Riaz got what was coming to him.
Chief Braga: You'd testify to that?
Horatio: In a real court I might.
Chief Braga: (laughs) No courtroom is necessary. I just wanted to hear you admit it.
Horatio: I admitted to nothing. So what happens now?
Chief Braga: It's very simple. As far as I'm concerned, you're free to go.
Horatio: Just like that, huh.
Chief Braga: Yes. Just like that. But, you should know you made a lot of enemies last time you were in Rio.
Horatio: And this is your way of saying good luck.
Chief Braga: I admit to nothing. But, good luck.

Eric: What the hell are you doing, huh? What are you doing, Cooper?
Dan: I was just having a little bit of fun, man, all right? Little Miss Perfect needed to be taken down a notch or two, so I videotaped her. So what?
Eric: Videotaped her? You've been harassing her on the website. Now she's missing.
Dan: Well, Calleigh's a big girl. She can take care of herself.
Eric: She can take care of herself? You posted her new number on the website.
Dan: It's not against the law. Maybe...
Eric: Yeah, but what if some felon, what if some felon calls her out to a location, huh? You think about that? (Dan is silent) Yeah. That's what I thought. Something happens to her, Cooper, I'm gonna come back here and kill you.
Edit
Rick Stetler: If you go voluntarily, you waive your right to fight extradition.
Horatio: It's not gonna make a difference, Rick.
