  • Kept me intersted the whole time!

I liked the whole poison-thing. I might not have understood exactly how the poison was made, but it didn't matter. I really thought that the owner of Bixton (right name?), was quite a snob. He really didn't care that someone died so that he can feed others. I understand that it has to be a huge dilemma, and the truth is that not many people are ready to pay more for food that's safe and clean. But, that still doesn't make what happened right. Especially not when someone dies.

I think what we all waited for was to see Eric back at the lab. Although he is leaving, it was still nice to see him again.

I hate the fact that he is leaving! It makes me pissed. But, if Adam Rodriguez wants to leave, then let him. I really hope that Eric and Calleigh can stay together, they are just so cute!

Calleigh was adorable when she started crying as Eric walked away. And the note from H was lovely!

I love the scenes with Ryan, Cardoza and Walter. That trio is a great gang!moreless
  • The Bad Seed: I love this episode because it really made one think about the farming/organically grown food that we eat. We never know what's being added to the food even before it reaches us.moreless

    The Bad Seed:

I love this show because it dealt with a real life situation. We never know what's being added to the food we buy from grocery stores, health food stores or the stores that claim their food is organically grown. This episode really made one think about the farmin/producers of the food we eat. Now a days we really have to make good choices and think about the processing of food that we buy and prepare for our family. This show touched on the subject which really made me question the things that I buy from health food stores that claim the product is organically grown. The E-Coli storyline was a storyline that we could relate to because I know someone who recovered from E-Coli unlike the victims that were cast in the storyline. I have two questions: Are they going to bring Alex back? And is Eric leaving the show?moreless
  • A critically ill young woman is brought to the emergency room with her fiancee in tow. Dr. Alexx Woods tries desparately to save her but Alexx's efforts are in vain. The woman's fiancee soon collapses while being questioned by Delko. The case begins.moreless

Kim Delaney, Rory Cochrane, Khandi Alexander and now Adam Rodriguez. The list of departures from the show adds another name. Delko's last case was not fantastic, but it was entertaining. The writers of this episode have obviously seen the documentary "Food, Inc." which is a good thing. It never hurts to shed light on the dangers of factory farming and the unethical business practices of major food corporations. The scene where Natalia is running tests on the corn with people standing over her and asking if the tests are done was rather silly. An episode worth seeing despite its flaws.moreless
  • Perfect timing for last night's "Bad Seed" episode! The episode dealt with E. Coli and Botulism in vegetables, and how inadequate cleaning of the vegetables, resulted in a preventable death. It also discussed Botulism in vegetables, & I was skeptical.moreless

    9.5
Even though it is for entertainment and not a documentary, it follows real life situations, as accurately as possible, while still keeping it entertaining. Because of recent E. Coli outbreaks, media has increased awareness to the importance of washing fruits and vegetables, so this situation in the episode followed along with what I knew to be true. The episode also touched on botulism, in vegetables. I had not heard of this, and it sounded too far-fetched to be true; I was skeptical and took that part of the episode with a grain of salt. My skepticism quickly changed while watching the news this morning, they spoke about a recall of "BABY FOOD". Why? Botulism! They didn't go into detail as to why or how, only that it was an organic supplier that this affected. A portion of the news stated "Baby Food Recalled, May Be Botulism-Tainted – The "organic" supplier is recalling some of its apple and carrot portable pouch baby food because of concerns over possible botulism contamination. " WOW, talk about perfect timing for the show. Not only is the show entertaining but on top of current issues in the news. I love watching CSI Miami. The actors blend so well together, they complement each other. I have to say, David Caruso nailed it with his portrayal of the character Horatio. I love to what him, his style, and stance is calm and cool.moreless
  • The show set the stage for interest in discussion of real farming dilemmas and health problems that come out of illegal and "sloppy" farm practices. Good info on disease and contamination problems without "overdoing" technicalities. I liked it!moreless

10/19 episode exposed many real problems that exist in U.S. (and world) farming practices. Chemical companies patent GMO seed and are manipulating small farms; pollution from stock feces running into water supplies; costs less to pay fines, than to solve the problem;corporate farms not held responsible for health hazards, because they can buy the way out. Hope fans take the info as real and serious. Thanks, CSI for being pro-active on these issues. This is the first show I've seen this season and hope not to miss any other. I like that many of your past shows addressed real issues.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Goof: When they are replaying how the bacteria got into Luaren's system, they show her and Ethan sitting at the table at Sambello's, and you can clearly see that the table is set with the fork on the right side of the table and the knife and spoon on the left side of where her plate is. In all restaraunts, it is common knowledge that the fork belongs on the left side of the plate, and that the knife and spoon are placed on the right side of the plate.

  • QUOTES (2)

    • Calleigh: You're leaving CSI, aren't you?
Eric: You always were good at reading me. Look, um, let's not tell anybody else for now. I don't feel like answering lots of questions.
Calleigh: I wouldn't. So, why are you going?
      Eric: A lot of reasons.
      Calleigh: Life's too short?
      Eric: Yeah, basically.
Calleigh: And what about you and me? I guess CSI's not the only game in town.
Eric: Like I said, you know me too well.

    • Frank: Why were you running, superfly?
      Al Wayons: You chase me.
Frank: Then we got a paradox, 'cause I didn't start chasing until you started running.
Al Wayons: Look, where I'm from, cop calls your name, you run and ask questions later.
