In a brief summary of this episode in the "TV Week" section of the New York Post on Sunday, November 16th, 2003, Emily Procter's name was mispelled "Emily Popper."
Title: "Big Brother"
The title comes from the George Orwell novel "1984," in which a man lives in a totalitarian society led by Big Brother, which censors everyone's behavior, even their thoughts. In this episode, the girls of the "sorority house" are the subjects of Big Brother, being watched at all times. In addition to this, the title also makes reference to Horatio's relation to Raymond.
Tyler: (when Calleigh asks what Grave-Robber is) It's a piece of software that resurrects deleted files, figures out which ones go together and in what order.
Grave-Robber is used to capture forensic information about a Unix system. It captures process and network information, as well as gathering data from the directory and all its subdirectories. It is part of The Coroner's Toolkit (TCT).
Calleigh: (about using superglue to close a wound) But that really works? It seals the wound?
Superglue was created by the US Military for use in Vietnam to quickly close wounds.
