    A man goes into a house looking for his cat and he dies by the amonia. The wife passed out. The house was used in a crime lab. 1800 parts per million of Nitric Acid. The cook messed up sulferic acid and Nitric acid and got the wrong thing instead of X. The docs paid off cooks. Kimble was stabbed in his car. A woman at a nursing home is found dead. She was beat up. Someone broke in the window. Paper was found in the blood. She had Alzheimers. The lady had boyfriends and sex. Betty's death was accidental.moreless

    in this ep of csi miami the show starts with going to the scene of house that is used to make drugs and sell them and the other half is called to the scene to go invegate what happen to a women in nursing home .who was murderd. as the both halfs investigate they find out that the women in the nursing home was murderd by her sister becasue she was going to leave all the money towards her lover . and the house with drugs as they ivestigate it belongs to a guy that owns the houses in that area and they aresst him becasue he was at fault and he has the guy that was making the drugs for him killed this was great epmoreless

    Again two stories for two different sets of purposes as
    One story features a man who tried to get back in his cat inahle in some very poisonous chemicals that led to his death as another story features a resident at a elderly home dead in a blood of pool. As fingers point to the people that run the place. Very good hour of tv. Time well spent.

    Even though the slaughter of a retiree is a deep and very disturbing event. The investigations goes placves that I the viewer did not expect. Add to this that the other case is just as strange it sets out the team as a new winner.

    No matter how compelling the investigation went, the end result of this crimescene is one that you might not expect. And that makes for a good series. Sometimes accidents do happen, and verifying that this was the case makes for just as much for good watching.

    I consider this one of the better episodes of the Miami team.moreless

    • Goof: When Delko is photographing the scene of Betty's death, we see lots of shots of blood - one of which is on a chairback. The viewer can see the stain and Delko standing behind the chair, but then he holds up the camera and apparently photographs it. He couldn't possibly do this unless he were in the viewer's position, i.e. in front of the chair.

    • Goof: When Horatio enters the house he is wearing airtight suit. But if the gases are so toxic why isn't his wrists tightly concealed. One could see bare skin several times when he holds up his arm. If this isn't necessary to have your whole skin covered, then just a regular gas mask would be sufficient. But in the next scene the wrist is tightly covered.

    • In this episode, it is revealed that Horatio Caine's younger brother, Raymond C. Caine, was killed March 18, 2001 (according to his tombstone, he was born October 24, 1968).

    • Goof: Horatio writes the symbols for sulfuric acid, H2SO4, on a clear board. Both numbers should be in subscript but he writes the 4 as a large number, suggesting a lack of basic chemistry knowledge.

    • Goof: Nitric acid is a liquid and not a gas. The gaseous precursor is NO2 when combines with water forms nitric acid, HNO3. Neither causes instant death.

    • Goof: Using a Draeger Tube to test for nitric acid fumes, the instrument made a clicking sound. This device does not click. The bellows pump is squeezed drawing air through the tube. A reaction takes place between the air contaminant and the material in the tube causing a color change. The length of stain is proportional to the concentration.
