In this episode of CSI Miami, the following happens. We open in a restaurant and soon a grenade is thrown onto the floor near a table and it explodes, as does the whole restaurant. Frank quickly arrives at the scene and sees H as he is carrying a woman in his arms. So far there are 2 victims, and so the CSI team begin to investigate. The bodies are taken back to the morgue and before the autopsy can begin another grenade bomb drops onto the floor from one of the shoes. Everyone runs and luckily no one is injured. But Taras pills fall onto the floor and she tries to pick them all up, but Ryan spots her. When he asks her about it later, she claims that she was looking after the victims property, but Ryan tells her that he knows the drugs are hers. But she claims that she is fine and walks away from him. Soon H believes that Steve, the victims son, maybe involved with his fathers death. We also learn that the waitress who was also in the bombing had her kids taken off of her recently and H believes that it is connected. She used a nanny and on the night that child services went to her house, and they found the children were there alone and the nanny that she used, cannot be found. H soon learns that Steve is making fake credit cards, but the numbers on the cards are from people who used their cards in the restaurant where the bombing happened. The manager of the restaurant was also in on the scam. H now believes that he was the intended target and not his father. Who soon learn that the person who threw the grenades is the photographer who has Russian ties, who only a few episodes ago was following Hs team and taking pictures of them. As Eric and Ryan talk to him, we see parts of the future and we see him being killed and his by being dumped.
We also see that H has managed to track down the nanny and she confesses that her old boss made her do it; otherwise he was going to turn her in to the IRS. She claims that she only left the apartment after she saw ICS entering the hallway towards the apartment. She goes with H and writes down everything and we learn that he did it after the waitress said that she wouldnt help him in the scam with the credit cards. He thought that she was going to talk and so he arranged the whole thing. At the end of the episode we see H playing with the waitresss daughter in a park and we see that she has gotten her kids back, thanks to H.moreless

    "Good"
Okay, it's been a while since Miami blew anything up so I think they were due. The case itself was interesting but a little bit more complicated than needed. We had the mother who lost her kids because she wouldn't go along with her boss in his credit card scheme but that had nothing to do with the inital bombing. THAT was connected back to the Russian mob that is still on the hunt of Horatio and his team. Of course ultimatly Horatio saves the girl as well as her children. But unfortunately Horatio doesn't see the growing issue right under his nose with his ME Tara Price.moreless

    • Ryan: How come the first thing you do as soon as a grenade goes off is run for your drugs? Tara: You know what? I'm... Ryan: Listen. I need you to kick this. 'Cause next time I can't sweep this under the rug for you. Tara: I'm fine. I promise you.

    • Horatio: Did you get something? Eric: Yeah. Got the fuse body of a hand grenade. Horatio: That's definately not military, Eric. It looks homemade. Eric: Homemade, professional, the result's the same. Boom.
