  • The Ron Saris thing is getting old . . .

When an associate of Ron's is murder by taking a dip in acid the team is forced to deal with Miami's newest CI. I kept looking for an actual case somewhere within this episode and we actually saw glimpses, though they were indeed small, with the exception of the dramatic discovery of the final body. The episode was clouded with Julia drama as well as dealing with Tara's addiction to pills. Of course we also have the given Horatio saves the damsel in distress scenario, even if it is Julia. The one bright spot is that it was nice to see Ryan and Eric joking around again.moreless

In this episode of CSI Miami, the following happens. We open at a party, where we see Ron and a male friend, Jimmy who is hosting the party. The following morning as guests are leaving, Jimmy and Ron have a bit of a fight and Jimmy ends up in the swimming pool. He soon starts screaming in pain, as we see him being burned alive, literally. And so the CSI team are called in to investigate the crime. H speaks to Ron and Ron believes that he was the target and that it is Julia who wants him dead. So H goes to see Julia and we learn that she has stopped taking her medication, as she believes that she doesnt need it any more. They go to a factory where large amounts of the chemicals used are stored, and while there, they find a dead body, and what remains of a second one. Soon the team ID one of the victims and learn that he went missing with his sister-in law and her husband. The victims wife reported them all as missing. H and Ryan get a search warrant for Taras locker, after they learn that she is still taking drugs at work. As Ryan helps to build the case against Tara, Julia enters the morgue and pulls a gun and shots it at Ryan. The whole time, this is going on Tara looks as though she is about to start crying. Soon H enters and puts the gun to her head. But luckily H manages to stop her before she can do anything. Tara is taken to see IAB by Ryan and as she leaves the morgue she takes one final look around as though she knows that she wont be retuning there any time soon. The team head to who they believe may have committed the murders and when they get to his place, they find the missing sister in open of the freezers, she is already dead. When he is taken in for questioning, when water falls onto his shoes, they start to burn, proving that he was the one who put the chemicals into the swimming pool. When Jimmy stared telling people about the murders, his partner knew that he had to get rid of him. Tara is confronted about the drugs which were found in her locker and she claims that she didnt hurt anybody. And so Tara is arrested for her crimes, and is handcuffed. As she is led out of the building members of the team simply look on.moreless
  • Horatio and the team investigate the murder of a man who was boiled alive in a back yard pool. Since Ron Saris may have been the intended victim, Horatio has to look at Julia as a suspect which causes her downward spiral to accellerate.moreless

Yet another episode of "CSI: Miami" which has an opening scene you won't soon forget. While this episode was very entertaining it did get off to a rocky start. I knew right away that Ron Saris and Julia had nothing to do with the murder. Having them as the perpetrators was way too obvious. However as the episode progressed it got back on track. I think the story involving Ryan's investigation of Dr. Price was very well done. The shootout in the cororner's office was the highlight of this episode. I thought I knew who fired the shot. I thought.moreless

I feel bad for kyles mom but she needed a psych facility after all thats happend to her poor thing. i hope alex comes back or they get someone new. or kyle could take over XD. I fell bad for all those people who were murdered but i didn't really care after i knew she was gonna get arrested. I almost thought it was tara who was shooting at ryan not julia. It would of been better if both of them were arrested at the same time. i was also hoping that jerk was the one who killed the guy that way he'd be gone already too bad. well can't wait till next season. and eric standing there as she was arrested was pretty pointless since he didn't really know anything about it. he could of at least been surprised.moreless

Wow! After watching the promo for this episode, I thought Ryan was going to get shot and sent to the hospital, but no no, apparently not. Though I am happy for that. I think it was good that he stayed safe and sound. Julia certinly losed control, however I feel sorry for her, and I hope that she and Horatio can move on and start over fresh. I'm not suggesting that they become lovers again, but maybe friends. And Tara! I hadn't expected her little secret to be revealed! I thought the whole secret-thing was going to be about Ryan actually, and the time that he had been forced to hide evidence because of the russian mob. Tara made a big mistake, but I hope this isn't the last we see of her. I like her, and I hope that she is given another chance. Ron Saris, what can I say about the guy except that I'm waiting for the day that he either dies or is sent to jail. I don't like him. As a conclusion, I have to say that this was one of the most exiting episodes ever!moreless

    • Goof: Both Calleigh and Eric refer to the outer layer of the cells as the cell wall, yet they should know that in animal cells there is no cell wall, it is only the cell membrane. Plant cells have the cell wall and that gives them their shape.

    • Goof: When Calleigh and Frank go to question Sean Echols, Frank mentions that Jimmy Castigan was "fried in a pool of acid." That is incorrect. The pool was filled with an alkali,or base, not an acid.

    • Tara: It's not what you think. Ryan: I think it's exactly what I think. You're showing up late to crime scenes, you're taking pills at work, what is that? Is that oxy? You know, you got a problem. There comes a point in addiction when you don't care if you get caught anymore, you're there. What's going to happen when you mess up an autopsy? Tara: It's not going to happen. Ryan: Oh, I used to say the same thing when I was gambling.

    • Eric: I believe this hair's from a cow or a deer, maybe. Must have gotten transferred from whoever stole the keys. Ryan: That or some sort of hoofed creature stole the keys themselves and proceeded to kill someone.

    • (Ryan and Delko are talking about leather and a chemical substance that it used in the leather business) Delko: And that is turned into those cute leather pants you like to wear. Ryan: Very funny.
