  • Good.

This episode is written by Marc Dube and directed by Scott Lautanen. The CSI team must try to find out who is trying to kill a young couple (introduced in episode 86) who are released from prison. The couple was made out to be "media darlings" and soon find that not everyone thought of them as darlings. Calleigh must work with her ex-boyfriend, who is a FBI agent (Peter Elliot, portrayed by Michael B. Silver) to help solve the case. Another GREAT episode. This is one of the best episode in this season of CSI: Miami. The writers should did this again, shouldn't they?moreless
  • Leo and Sienna are being followed, someone wants to kill them. The case is about money from a drugs kartel. Exes are very annoying this episode. Erica bothers Ryan and Calleigh has to work with Peter Eliott...moreless

    9.5
If I say I loved this episode, I would be lying. I adored this episode. It was amazing. I love Leo and Sienna. Okay, they are crazy (and dead now), but that is a small detail. I almost wanted Erica to be shot, she was so annoying. Leave Ryan alone!! He has to fall in love with Calleigh! That’s what I want, and I am pretty sure I am not the only one. I hate that Peter Eliott guy. I did not hate him when Calleigh was nice to him and vice versa, but now… grrrr. I mean, he thinks he can just say that Calleigh is jealous, what an arrogance! He has no right to tell that. I am glad Calleigh told him why she did not like him anymore. It was because he did not tell something about his fiancée, not because he had one. If he had just told her, she would be truly happy for him. I love it how she brushed him of! And Ryan’s look when she talked sarcastically about Peter’s fiancée! I loved it! I don’t know what kind of look it was, but I liked it. There was a lot of personal stuff in this episode, but not like it’s a soap. It was enough for CSI Miami and I loved it. I hope you like (d) it as much as I do!moreless
  • Bonnie and Clyde again and again

    9.6
Again how many times have we seen the Bonnie & Clyde

    Doing it all over again

This show ain't the first time nor will it be the last time

That we have a B&C show done like this

As well as also the media making them media darlings

The media trying to make them good

While the CSI team is trying to make them look not so good

Great show and again great acting as well.
  • Apricot, coral, peach, red-yellow, salmon, tangerine, titian, orange, mandarine, mango - any of a group of colors between red and yellow in hue, of medium lightness and moderate saturation.

    5.9
Orange - The hue of that portion of the visible spectrum lying between red and yellow, evoked in the human observer by radiant energy with wavelengths of approximately 590 to 630 nanometers. Just in case anyone was wondering.

Wow - just in the intro, there is only one guy not wearing some shade of orange, and he's the dead guy. I suppose technically Horatio isn't *wearing* orange, but he is a redhead, so the colour is there. Even Frank's tie has orange in it. I don't really like the colour, I really hope this doesn't mean orange is the new black, because it makes me look like I'm three days dead. First three after the intro are also wearing some shade of orange. Good god, it's everyone. This is getting really disturbing. Holy geez, even the blood on the bullet is looking orange.

This is just not fair - the colour is overwhelming the story. I'm barely paying attention to what's going on because I keep getting distracted by all the orange in every shot.

Oooo, nitpick - when the penthouse is being shot up by someone why the heck is Ryan attempting to find where the shots are coming from to return fire? Just get everyone down and out of the line of fire, especially the two who are the actual targets (not that we really care, they're a couple of psychotics, and the only reason they are needed alive is to keep the story moving along to its conclusion) and for pete's sake, Calleigh - use the radio to call for backup a little sooner than waiting til the excitement is all over!! By the way, please, couldn't the reporter twit have died, or at least been injured enough to go away? One would think the writer's would have allowed Ryan to learn from experience that talking to her is a major mistake, yet he keeps doing it.

The ending was blah, not even any more funny one liners, the only thing of note being that we *will* see more of the obnoxious reporter, and we most likely *won't* see any more of Peter Elliot - too bad, he has nice eyes.

(By the way - I labelled this episode "informative" because now I know the technical specs of the colour orange, and many different names for many different shades of the colour... and so do you - lol)

  • Ok episode. Too much color.

    8.8
This episode definately wasn't one of the better ones although it surely wasn't one of the worst this season. I agree with the other writers about all the orange color. Calliegh needs to move on. The Treasury guy is a snob. I think her and Ryan would be cute together. Also, enough already with that tv news reporter, they should have let her get killed when they shot the apartment up.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • Goof: The ending scene shows Leo and Sienna floating to the surface after they jumped off the bridge, yet it would have taken time for the decomposing gases to cause their bodies to float.

    • During the scene at the hotel penthouse when Leo and Sienna are being photographed, we see them through a simulated camera viewfinder, which shows a grid of f-stops with the lowest aperture setting as f/2.6. However, f/2.8 is the next full stop down from f/4, not f/2.6, which is not a standard stop value at all.

    • A lengthy optical analysis was shown to help establish that the $100 bills found were at least 16 years old. If Calleigh wanted to know approximately how old the bills were she could have just looked at the series date (and possibly a letter indicating a minor revision), which gets updated with any design change or appointment of a new Secretary of the Treasury or Treasurer of the United States, and have been printed on the front of all U.S. paper currency since 1869.

  • QUOTES (9)

    • Ryan: Erica, why are you looking for a story in this? It's just another day in Miami. Don't make this bigger than it is.
Erica: Bigger opens doors for me in Atlanta.
Ryan: Yeah, well, fabricating stories closes doors for you in Miami.

    • (Ryan takes Erica out to send her to a hospital)
Erica: You're dying to say I told you so, aren't you?
Ryan: No I'm not. I'm just glad it wasn't worse.
Erica: Maybe I'm crazy but for a big story I don't mind a little flesh wound.
      Ryan: You ARE crazy.

    • Ryan: I heard Pete Elliott is helping us.
Calleigh: He is. At my request.
Ryan: Doesn't want to get his pretty suit dirty? Where is he?
Calleigh: I don't know. Maybe he's e-mailing Quantico. Having lunch with his fiancee.

    • Frank: The boys were inside looking for souvenirs.
Horatio: Well, they found more than that.

    • Frank:Sonny and Cher(Leo and Sienna) came into this city with the clothes on their back. When we arrested them, all they had was a gun and that bag of money.

    • Agent Elliott: Too many singing canaries in your lab, Horatio…

    • Frank: (to Danny)The police report said you left the keys in the ignition outside the bank - did you leave your brain in the glove compartment, too? I mean, who does that?

    • Mr. Suero: My structural engineer says if I file for an extension now, I won't be cutting ribbon in eleven months
Frank: Hm, I'm crying inside, Mr. Suero.

    • Alexx: The maggots devoured the infected tissue surrounding the entrance wound, keeping it clean.
Calleigh: And that's what kept him alive. That's amazing.
Alexx:I think he'd use other words to describe it.
