  • Horatio and the team investigate the grizzly murder of a receptionist at an ad agency.

    6.5
I have mixed feelings about "Getting Axed." I liked the episode and think that it has a pretty decent storyline. However, there are just too many problems with it for me to give it a higher score. The biggest thing is the creepy delivery boy who lives in the drop ceiling (!). There is just no possible way he would be able to do that. Where does he do his laundry? Where does he bathe? Horatio and Jesse heard the man in the drop ceiling fairly quickly. Are you telling me that people working full days never heard him once?moreless
  • When a receptionist is murdered, the team try to unravel the twisted path to her killer.

    8.0
Hmmmmmmm......I normally feel something after every show, maybe excitement eg in Man Down as I was curious about Eric's future or disappointment if the episode didn't reach its full potential but, after this one, I feel indifferent.

Although I liked the fact that "spirts" were brought to light when Ryan and Jesse talked about how werid that the elevator was working perfectly until the murderer stepped into, then his victim "stopped him".

On another note, Frank seemed to be in this episode alot! Now, I'm still unsure wheteter that's good or bad but, I feel that the other characters are being neglected due to Jesse and Walter.

Frank, Travis and the pony-tailed tech whos name escapes me are like a full moon, only seen once a month on CSI: Miami. Natalia seems to get 5 seconds in one episode doing something unimportant and then disappears for about the next 4-5! Now, Jesse and Walter are good but it's too much of a good thing!

Also, has anyone else noticed that Ryan seems to have been made less good looking ever since Jesse showed up? Season 3, he was the new, young looking guy, season 4 and 5 he had the short hair but always wore shirts, all still good looking, and last season he had the spiked hair and shirts, even better!!!!

Yet now all he EVER wears seems to be sweater vests that make him look fat and "nerdy" hair that looks greasy! And, on his 2nd day, Jesse was shirtless! Why doesn't Ryan get a moment like that????!!!!!

In summary, not the best so far, I hope next week is bettermoreless
  • Pretty much average.

    7.5
This episode was pretty much average. I didn't really get a wow-feeling while watching it. Something I did like was the fact that Renee really wasn't an evil woman, she wasn't the villian. I liked that she was actually nice. I also like the funny scenes with Loman. First when Ryan didn't help him get down from the elevator roof and then when Calleigh teased him in the morgue.

The teasing also brings me to Travers and Jesse. I liked that scene. I think Miami needs moments like those. A little comedy is always nice. As for the murderer, well we've seen that storyline before.moreless
