  • Calleigh gets run off the road, Jake turns up, and a new gun is invented.

    9.2
Where Calleigh got run off the road was absolutely brilliant, especially as they had that part right at the start and what happened before that was only shown as flashbacks. That worked really well in the episode. Jake turned up as well, which caused lots of tension. They didn't really introduce them that well but that might have just been me. And there was a gun that Calleigh had not heard of at first. Now that was serious shock horror!! for Calleigh not to have heard of it to start off with when she owns zillions of guns and knows everything there is to know about them. It was still a brilliant episode though, very adventurous but it certainly worked.moreless
  • It's barking mad, but it's beautiful.

    8.2
Callie in the water? Must be a must watch episode if she's in a T-shirt (only kidding).

CSI:Miami is the most barking mad of the franchise. Everyone looks gorgeous, little of it really makes any sense, but it is fun, fun, fun. And for this season, the directors have been given a split screen gismo.

Emily Proctor is the real star of this show, - acting whilst the rest of world stands around like cardboard (very beautiful cardboard, admittedly). So she gets dumped in the canal, and breaks out of the car. All the evidence is compromised (we see finger prints washing off), but Callie crawls out with her make up in place, and her hair wet like she's been in a shower, not a swamp. Classic, - love it! And they knocked a Hummer off the road with a pick up, - and it could still drive away. And top secret weapons get into the hands of a biker gang. And Horatio wraps everything up for the undercover cops - good timing on his part.

Just one last thought, - does Horatio have an office? or does he meet everyone in the corridor? Does he ever use a PC or do any paperwork??

    Bonkers, but brilliant.moreless
  • Calleigh run off the road in a canal, her ex is around and a new technology for shooting at angle is discovered.

    9.3
An undercover agent is killed. The team should figure who the killer is: his partner, his wife or the leader of a motor-gang and his girlfriend. Or maybe somebody else? The most evidences are compromised when Calleigh run off the road in the canal and the team is trying to find a new one.

In the end it was clear that one of the members of the gang (the one who actually brough him in) found out that the victum is a cop and killed him for that. Not really interesting.

This was definitely Calleigh-centric episode. I admire her how she handle the situation when is was under water. She knew what she had to do and just did it. Strong woman.

But I really can't understand what she found in this Jake. He is arogant, rude and complacent. Actually I can't understand why the good girls always fall in the bad guys. And this Jake is the typical bad guys.

Much more I like Ryan. The scene when he told Calleigh that he is glad that she is okay was really nice. And she said 'Thanks, babe.'! Isn't that cute?moreless
  • Caleigh and her car under water.

    10
I would have freaked if I was Caleigh. It's so easy to panic but Caleigh kept her cool and got herself out....with the evidence now compromised, the team got together to nail the bad guy with new evidence.

I still don't like Natalia especially with her reply to Eric after he told he she didn't have to ask to work a case. Didn't she make enough trouble last season? If I was her I'd be keeping my little sexy tones in check. Another great episode. With the exception of the season opener, this proves why CSI:Miami is my favorite of the 3 CSI shows.moreless
  • Calleigh gets pushed into a canal and her ex shows up and might have gone dirty.

    9.7
I loved this episode. Finally a Calleigh-centric episode. Miami has been in dire need of that for a long time. Emily Procter handled it well. I loved how she dealt with her ex Jake Berkley and with the whole situation while she was underwater. I liked that we finally got to see a team again, although there was too much of \"sweetheart\" and \"babe\" and stuff like that. It seemed a little forced. Overall a great episode though.moreless

    • Calleigh: You know, you're the perfect man to infiltrate a biker gang.
      Jake: Yeah.
Calleigh: Your relationships always have ulterior motive.
Jake: Look, I do care what happened to our agent but I can't step out for you, Calleigh.
      Calleigh: Some things never change.

    • Calleigh: (after the accident) The evidence is...
Horatio: Right now, sweetheart, that's not important.
      Calleigh: But it's all compromised.
Horatio: Yes, everything but you, ma'am.

    • Jake: I let you take me down, you know that, right?
Calleigh: Oh, that's right, let's see...you were first in our class, the academy star...Only scared of failure.
Jake: I mean, you could've been first, if you weren't so distracted by that guy you were seeing. What was his name? Oh, yeah! That was me!

    • Ryan: And hey, I'm glad you're okay.
      Calleigh: Thanks, babe.

    • ATF Agent Berkeley: This isn't about you and me, is it?
Calleigh: I've got one dead ATF Agent, and you're missing your standard issue firearm, trust me Jake, this time it's all about you.

    • Horatio: I know you're running guns.
Hawk: Won't let up huh? Hard up to get me on something... hey I didn't pay the licence on my Rottweiler.
Horatio: Maybe I'll add that to the list.

    • (Natalia interrogates a biker gang member)
Angela: He bounced our books, handled our money.
Natalia: What?... Like the gang treasurer.

    • Hawk: I didn't kill Billy Gault
Horatio: You just happened to be outside the scene, right?
Hawk: Yeah well, we run there every week... it's our territory
Horatio: Not any more my friend... now it's mine.

    • (Natalia talking about motorcycle gangs)
Natalia: They're the scariest, they're called The Crypt Kings and they're known as being one percenters.
      CSI Tech Wells: 1%'s?
Natalia: 99% of them just like to ride, but that 1%, they're into everything criminal: girls, guns, dope.

    • Dan: (looking at all the impounded motorcycles) You brought me out here for some window shopping?
Eric: Not quite. Could use a hand. Trace found on the corner-shot was motor oil. Viscosity says it's from a motorcycle. (passes Dan some gloves) Here you go, glove up.
Dan: So we have to collect oil samples from all these?
      Eric: That's right.
(Dan goes over to a bike, looks at in confusion)
      Eric: Problem, Coop?
      Dan: No, no, no problem.
Eric: You don't know where the oil cap is, do you?
Dan: I'm just more of a four-wheel type guy.

    • Calleigh: Alright, well then let's make it easy - give me your Bureau gun, I'll go do a comparison.
Jake: It's not that easy. My gun is missing.
Calleigh: You know what, Jake? In my line of work we call that convenient.

    • Jake: Sometimes it's safer to be on the dark side.

    • (Eric and Natalia are processing a truck.)
Eric: Natalia, you don't need to ask permission to work a case, okay? Matter of fact, the more you ask, the more we think you can't do it.
Natalia: Then get out of my way.
Eric: That's what I'm talking about.
