  • OMG greatest episode yet (i.m.o.)!

    "Perfect"
Wow, I loved this episode. I don’t normally notice the back ground music they play, in this episode, I really noticed and liked it. When that TV camera dude showed up, saying he had the mayor’s permission to tape the CSIs work, I was thinking, “Oh no, please don’t be like CSI! They did this already!” But, instead of filming in this episode, it’s being saved for another episode. And the reason to film is actually not a bad one, either.

99 bottles of beer on the wall…lol, I liked how Eric used his superiority over Ryan and ended up with his specialty; fingerprint analysis. I noticed Eric was wearing a suit (with the exception of the tie and shirt). OMG he’s becoming like Horatio! Ha, ha, yeah no, I think he should only wear a suit on important events. Anyway, back to the episode. I saw there were multiple fingerprints on the bottles and I was glad to see that because before whenever the CSIs fingerprinted something, there was usually only one print, which, in my opinion was stupid because they should be more than one print.

They see me rollin’, they hatin’ patrollin’ they tryin’ ta catch me ridin’ durty!

Ha! I laughed my @$$ off when they started playing this. When the Steve Dunlar’s partner rated him out and wasn’t all too sure where he was going to be and Horatio was all like, “I think I know,” I was thinking, “Yes! Plane chase scene!” Well, the chase scene didn’t happen, but that’s cool, ‘cause they still got their man! Definite 10/10!
  • What stupid person puts jet fuel in a car?

I'm sorry but that kid should have been able to smell the fuel was different from normal unleaded gas. This episode had to be the worst. And how many times were they going to keep playing the video clip of the guy getting his head cut off? I don't see the documentary film maker story going in a very positive direction.
  • Worst writing ever

Most disappointing to date. Video illustrates the suspension lift repeatedly at 3" but they call it 13" or more. CSIs repeatedly called receiver hooked to the car a transmitter. The car busting through the garage door because Jet-A was in the tank was totally lame. Jet-A is kerosene, gasoline powered car engines won't even run on Jet-A. They close the episode with the totally stupid “You know what they'll pay for these cars in Venezuela? Almost three times the sticker.” If that was true, why steal, just buy them in Miami, sell them in Venezuela. LAME, LAME, LAME stick a fork in it, Miami's done.
  • Nothing amazing about the case but a fairly interesting murder. SPOILERS

The episode this time starts with a street car event which I've already forgotten the name of. The driver on display puts his car on cruise control, stands on his seat out the sunroof and steers with his feet. He them gets decapitated by a cable. Murder? Yes, the height of his car's air suspension was increased by mobile phone. Meanwhile, there is a subplot about aviation fuel and a sub, subplot about stealing cars.

The story was way too ambitious for CSI and it showed. The story was confusing and didn't really connect very well. The murder ended up being really easy to solve and it just showed how stupid the murderer was not to remove the chip after the event.

I have to say congratulations for coming up with an interesting way of murdering someone but other than that, it was not the best CSI Miami episode.
  • A strong showing for a season that has been so-so.

    "Superb"
My biggest disappointment was the truly poor special effects of the decapitated neck, it looked like cardboard painted with maroon paint. Beyond that the online video of the head popping off was a nice touch. Otherwise, this was a good solid CSI episode without the goofy editing effects and completely overacted. The story was good with some unexpected twists, not a common occurance on CSI:Miami these days. It was a nice touch how the A plot spawned the B plot. In fact, we are will into the episode before we even realize there is a B plot of the jet fuel theft. The episode was clean and much like the early seasons that I liked more than many of the recent ones.
  • Exciting and fun to watch.

A car racer’s head is chopped off by a cable as he does one of his stunts. CSI look at the evidence and are sure that it was murder and not an accident. Who could be behind it and why? A documentary filmmaker who wants to record the experience, the deceased’s girlfriend who was also his sponsor and seems to be hiding something, or how about Luke Baylor, Dexter’s (the dead guy) competition, who wanted to get his car very badly, or maybe Steve Dunlar, a concerned father of one of the boys who witnessed the event, who seems to have another motive.

This was another fun episode to watch. You keep guessing who is responsible, and although I suspected someone, seeing who the other people involved was a surprise. Besides that, you get to see fast cars, murderous stunts, car crashes, car smugglers, hydraulics and CSI gadgets for solving the case. Samaire Armstrong (who I am sure many O.C fans would remember) played really well as Brynn. All in all, this was a fun episode to watch.
  • fast cars, teen stunt drivers and 'the headless hunt'

Wow! This was a very nice, fast-paced racing-cars-centered show. Even though I cringed seeing the head come off the guy about what.... 5 times!

I totally enjoyed the episode. The story was nicely done, not rushed at all. Calleigh's character keeps getting better and better this season. Loved it when she blew off the guy in the interrogation room. What a change from previous seasons!

Some technical aspects were pretty cool, to use a phone to control the car's hydraulics by remote....yup, very neat.

I liked Horatio actually being wrong about the beer guy's father (can't remember the name). He did not figure him to be the bad guy right away (which he usually does) and this shows that even H's gut is not always right.....I like it - the character needs some normal fallable human traits, like in this case being wrong about a suspect!

All in all, good start for the November sweeps! Keep it up.
  • Fast & the Furious with a murder on the line!

This episode of the show takes a look at the side of fast cars as well as kids trying to pull off death defying stunts as one kid's head is cut off and decapitated. As the team must look at the cars as well as a woman who only wants to make a profit and doesn't care who gets either hurt or even killed. Sad way to lose a young life!
  • Races, bad father, wolfe superstar of his own movie !!!!! So cool

A young man is decapited during a street race, murder or accident?? H tells us before the theme begins "it's a murder" Is it me or his lines become more and more lame and the worse is I want more !!! i love when he do that it's the CARUSATAS ( David spade show)

Anyway this episode was great, really what I expected from a show like Csi Miami and the bad exam i had yesterday it was a relief. The story was clear and understandable and What the hell happened to Wolfe?? I thought that being Erica Sikes exclusive a whole year was enough for him.

The fact is i still dont get his explanations about showing a good image of the lab they dont need that, anyway that means that we gonna have some action in the rest of this season
  • Jet fuel, I lost my head, stolen cars, and hydraulics.

    9.8
    "Superb"
Wow.....this episode had me going one way and out of nowhere, it pulled me somewhere else! I saw the decapitation coming as soon as the fool did his jack-in-the-box. So, the dude gets decapitated yet....the car comes to a complete stop. Nice. They could have had the car keep going and taken down some of the other fools running away from the scene.

The dad who was shipping stolen cars to Venezuela was weak. His son, puts jet fuel in his car and it bursts into flames but dad is too busy getting his stolen cars together to ship 'em off to care. Lame. Didn't even feel bad about it. Dad's a peach.

I don't like the fact that Ryan agreed to let this documentary guy film him in an effort to help the reputation of the lab and Natalia had no business giving him grief (or advise) about it. Even with Horatio's (and the mayor's) ok, it still doesn't feel right....

All in all it was a great episode as usual but I'm not much into racing cars and such so I couldn't give it a 10.0. I actually should have given it an 8.8 because I'm not a big fan of Alicia Leigh Williams (Courtney Matthews from GH) but I kept it at 9.8 simply because my dislike of Williams shouldn't factor into my opinion of this epi.
