CSI: Miami

Season 6 Episode 3

Inside Out

Aired Sunday 10:00 PM Oct 08, 2007 on CBS

  • Trivia

    • When Natalia picks up the motorcycle keys, she leaves them in her car and doesn't even bother bagging them. Wolfe wouldn't have had to do a lot of work to get them thrown out as compromised evidence.

    • Goof: During the escape, there are problems with the timelime. After the prisioners get into the SUV and flight, Frank - still inside the bus - hears two gunshots (or maybe one with an echo), the he exits the bus, checks on the truck's driver, and them he sees someone with a gun and shoots - only to see the deaf girl falling. But, according to the actual shooter's statement, he shot the girls before the escapees got into the SUV.
Also, what happened with Frank's shot? Where or who did it hit?

    • A group of particularly notorious gang-bangers wouldn't be transported to jail with only a driver and no other security. Horatio had Frank go along at the last minute, and he was the only other guard. There would have also been at least one or two other police escort vehicles as well.

    • At the arraignment, Kyle's case would have been presented to the judge by a prosecutor, not Frank. And Kyle would have been represented by a defense attorney who would have presented his case for bail. Especially as a 16 year old, he would not have been expected to speak for himself.

    • At 16, Kyle would have been segregated from adult prisoners, even if he was being charged as an adult.

  • Quotes

    • (at the crime scene)
      Ryan: Hey, Natalia.
Natalia: You know you can't be here. Right?
Ryan: (chuckles) Oh, come on, don't shoot. I come in peace here, all right?

    • Horatio: Ever been to Brazil, Joe?
      Joe: What?
Horatio: Not long ago, someone that we both cared for greatly was killed by an animal like you.
Eric: And we went down to Brazil, to hunt him.
Horatio: He never left the country, Joe.
Joe: So, what's that got to do with me?
Horatio: If those scratches are from my son and anything has happened to him, I'm gonna come back to this room and you will leave it in a bag.

    • Natalia: Well, this will tell us who the shooter is. And then maybe I can testify for the defense. That'll be fun.
Ryan: Listen, Natalia. At least consider the fact that I brought the gun to Tripp's attention, will ya?
Natalia: Hmm. You want points for doing the right thing?
Ryan: Hey. Hey! I follow the evidence no matter who pays me, okay? I'm doing my job. I haven't sold my soul. If Oscar's guilty, then he's guilty, alright?

    • Rebecca Nevins: You screwed up, Natalia.
Natalia: No, I didn't. I...I had a friend turn on me.
Rebecca Nevins: So return the favor. We discredit Ryan, I may still have a case against Oscar.
      Natalia: I can't do it.
Rebecca Nevins: Just give me one negative on Wolfe.
      Natalia: I'm sorry.
Rebecca Nevins: You should be. It's your career.

    • Calleigh: Did you see Julio and the two other fugitives leave in an SUV?
Barry: No. But I saw one of 'em leave on my bike.
      Eric: They stole your motorcycle.
      Calleigh: Did you report it?
Barry: If I did that, I'd be the joke of South Beach.
Calleigh: We're talking about two dangerous felons. Do you see me laughing?

    • Horatio: So you're back in court on this Kyle Harmon thing.
Rebecca Nevins: Yeah. What about him?
Horatio: You are moving to try him as an adult.
Rebecca Nevins: It was an adult crime, Horatio. He kidnapped a woman.
Horatio: He is a child who was blackmailed into the situation.
Rebecca Nevins: Regardless, he made a bad choice.
Horatio: Children often do, don't they?

    • Horatio: Joe, I am attempting to give you a chance, so work with me on this.
Joe LeBrock: I don't want it.
Horatio: Okay. Then we have a big problem.
      Joe LeBrock: Why's that?
Horatio: 'Cause I'm not leavin' this room without an answer.

    • Ryan: Well, as an expert witness in the, uh, Oscar Monahan theft case, I have the right to investigate the alleged crime scene.
      Frank: Alleged?
      Ryan: Yeah.
Frank: Guy stole a motorcycle and dumped it here. Stay outside the perimeter until I get you an escort. (Ryan looks around the perimeter and finds a gun)
      Ryan: Oh, uh, Frank.
Frank: Yeah. Well, that's a .45. Same caliber as the bullet they pulled out of the, uh, deaf girl.
      Ryan: Yeah.
Frank: Looks like the joke's on you. Oscar tossed the murder weapon. Huh.
Ryan: Yeah, listen. I have to follow this through to the processing.
Frank: You're doing a bang-up job for the defense, Wolfe.
Ryan: That's a nice haircut, Frank.
      Frank: Have a nice day.

    • Natalia: I found Oscar's epis on the keychain, so he stole the motorcycle from the jail bust breakout. You know, how, how you gonna challenge my analysis?
Ryan: I'm not gonna challenge your analysis. I'm gonna challenge your protocol.
      Natalia: What do you mean?
Ryan: You didn't take the evidence straight back to the lab, Natalia.
Natalia: No, because I was running to the range appointment that you set up for me. Oh. That you set me up for.
      Ryan: What?
      Natalia: You set me up.
Ryan: Wait, no. Wait a second. You think I'd actually do that? Are you kidding? Just get me the evidence so I can vet it, please. (Natalia hands it to him) Thank you.
Natalia: You may put a fugitive back out on the street. You proud of yourself?
