In this episode of CSI Miami the following happens. When a man dies in the everglades the team is called in to investigate. They soon discover another victim. They discover a knife by the 2nd victim. It has a print on it which they trace back to a store. They soon find the woman who bought the knife that very morning and she confesses to the murder. The team soon believe that she is lying and that she is doing so, because she is afraid for her life, possibly because of the Russian Mob. At a fight club, they find evidence of a possible death. They test the blood and it matches that of a missing person. The woman, who admitted to the murder, admits that she saw a body being dumped. The victim she admitted to killing was her boyfriend. She was warned not to be seen or other else he would be killed. Alas someone saw her and they killed him anyways. H pulls in a Witness Protection team to help her disappear.

Eric and Calliegh discover the body of the missing man. We learn that he died during a bear fight within the Russian fighting club. The team are informed that the killer is a man by the name of Weller.
  • I thought I would give the show a try after ignoring the last season and a half... wasn't impressed

I stopped watching when the story lines starting blurring together, and boil down to rich people having affairs and killing each other. I also was getting sick to my stomach of the 4+ frames on the screen during *every* single lab test is done.

    I see it hasn't changed.

Another episode I watched recently involved actually slowing down the shots into slo-mo, that is new, but still irritating. There are WAY too many flashbacks, that last only a few seconds, but number in the dozens in a row. It's still just a bunch of tall skinny women in high heels looking for evidence and unrealistic male characters. Horatio was always my favorite character, pretty much the only one.

But it's still not enough to watch regurgitated tv.
  • Beware the Russian Mob!!

One thing I hate about this show is that their previews are really misleading. The preview and even the title make it appear that the plot revolves around the team tracking a murderous cannibal but the episode does a major 180 and all of a sudden they are hunting the Russian mob?? Now that I'm done venting, all in all, it wan OK episode. The fight club was interesting and I really felt bad for the guy fighting to save his yacht slip. Plus it seems Horatio has made a new nemesis in that Russian fighter guy. As if Horatio needa anymore enemies sheesh. Anyways, next weeks episode looks interesting so see you all next week!!
  • A little better than last week's!

This episode was a lot more better than last week's episode. And the Russian mafia doesn't seem like it will go away anytime soon. Seems like a rival to be brewing between both Ivan and H. The mafia could get H and the team a run for their money. Seems like also Julia and Kyle always manage to try to put H in a rut. H, knows that he isn't being fooled. And that He will always manage to win, come out on top. Delko, ironically, is half-Russian. So that could play out in a pretty big way. A little more better show!

After watching the previews I was excited about the introduction of the Russian mob. From the looks of things they aren't going away. Which could be interesting. The episode however really wasn't as intriguing as I think it could have been. I thought there were too many angles to follow. Yes, we did find out that Delko is half Russian. A fact I'm sure will be utilized in the future. However, you have the typical Horatio move of saving the damsel in distress. Horatio and Ivan are obviously not going to be the best of buddies. But as far as we know Ron Saris is swimming with the fishes so H has to fight with somebody. Maybe we'll find out Ivan and Ron are brothers.....
