    • Just before the scene with the car sinking into the swamp, we see an alligator turning and crawling into the water. This is the same stock footage that we see periodically throughout this series. This short scene and the one with the same birds always taking off in flight must be the producers' favourite clips to add to the episodes.
    • Goof: Kyle says that he knows kidnapping Kathleen Newbury was wrong, "even though Rick Bates put that gun to my head." Yet during the episode "Dangerous Son" when the kidnapping takes place, Rick Bates is shown threatening Kyle with words only. There is nothing in the episode to suggest Bates even owns a gun.
    • Goof: When Eric enters the morgue, you see that Mr. Winston has the stick in him. Then when the camera gets close up it is gone and then Alexx sticks it in him.

I wasn't equipped to raise him, (looks away for a moment) and I didn't want to burden you. Where is he now? Horatio: He's in jail. Julia: Can I see him? Horatio: When the time is right. We'll take care of this first, okay? (Julia smiles slightly up at Horatio)
    • Larry Hopkins: (about the warrant he's been handed) Well, I have some clients coming in shortly, but I will take a look at this– Horatio: Do it now, or I'll tear your office apart.
