Miami has a dynamic more close to reality thanks in part by the powerful yet subtle presence of Horatio Caine, Miami is a complicated city full of emotional yet tragic situations, definitely a must see…..
Cool one liners, great clothes and cars (too expensive even for bankers)…tight script and complicated cases involving a lot of emotional drama that resembles the 80's top cop shows, C.S.I Miami is a great show by its own right, I was not a fan of the original C.S.I but I got hooked in this one right from the start, I also started learning about the characters while the various seasons progressed so did the smart storylines involving many aspects of living in such a particular city as Miami, immigrants from all around Latin America and especially Cuba gives you depth and Horatio Caine is one of the most layered characters in drama right now… So the ratings have spoken and so has the audience which patiently waits every time a case must that must be solved in sunny Miami every week.
This show is different from all the other CSI's. With the other shows I usually get bored after watching the first half of and episode but CSI: Miami just draws you in with all of the effects and plots they use in every episode.
To me its like a mini movie every week because basically something different happens every week yet they still manage to make the show follow a certain plot and make sense even when they do end up skipping around a little in times and places. In the past I've watched other shows yet none of them have been able to catch my interest for more then a couple of episodes yet this series has. I watch it because of the story lines but as well because I think Ryan (Jonathan Togo) and Eric (Adam Rodriguez) are extremely fine I mean really really fine. But anyways this show is just mind blowing and I cant wait every week until I see the next episode, that's just how good this show is.
The main reason why I watch this is to waste time and skip the old episodes of the regular csi. I mainly love the episodes when one of the csi members gets shot or something
Yes, I enjoy watching this show. I love it when csi members get hurt. My favorite character though is Ryan Wolfe. Horatio has his thing with his sunglasses and personal family issues. Callie is the one that goes for a relationship with "co-workers". Eric is also having personal issues...like getting shot and Marisol dying. Ryan gets fired, rehired, shot in the eye, and usually getting in fights with Eric. Natalia has a thing for Eric and Ryan. Alex is a great coroner. Alot of things also happens to her. I do perfer watching the regular though...it has my favoritest out of my favorist characters off all csi shows in it.
The "one-liner" show. Can someone please help the writers of this show to give Horatio Caine some better lines. He has a series of "one-liners" through out the show and they probably think that it makes him look means but it doesn't. He is a joke. HAHAHEHE. But I have to say the rest of the story lines are not too bad and off coarse the woman are beautiful. This show is definitely watchable but I will not set it as a "time based recording". It still does not come close to CSI: Vegas. Now that is a show because... Gil Grissom is not a dork..
I love this show, since the premiere episode. I'm pretty sure it's going to stick around for a whileDavid Caruso is amazingly good at playing H, and he just makes you come back for more. Emily Procter is beautiful and intelligent, she shares that with her character Calleigh and that makes it even more fun to watch her. Adam Rodriquez and Khandi Alexander hold their own, but i wish they'd get more on screen action. Eric and Alexx are wonderful characters and should be explored. On to my latest obsession, I watch this show for Rory Cochrane, he's talented, and enigmatic, and Tim Speedle is wonderful at his job.
This csi show is the best one that is on tv right now the way the storys just come out and and they can keep you watching and watching it is and will always be the best csi as long as people die and they have a case csi miami will be there to solve the case and will be there to put those dumb ass people who kill in jail i will watch this show and im so glad that it is get reran and some networks beside cbs that way i can watch this show everday untill the last episode.
A top-notch team of investigative CSI's work to keep justice alive in the Sunshine State, led by Lieutenant Horatio Caine. Their focus is on the crime scene, and they analyze, tape-lift and test for DNA, all while looking glamorous and enviable.
People say this show is cheesy. And they're right. That is why I love it! NY and Vegas are too serious and dark for me. I love Miami because it's always full of sunshine, it's always got predictable Horatio one-liners, and the characters have great qualities. I can watch shows over and over again and still enjoy them. I love the ongoing plotlines, and I love the way the show demonstrates how normal, everyday life has to continue even when you look at crime every day. The character relations are fun to follow, and overall, the writers are good at coming up with interesting new plots. My favorite show of all time!
Not something I watch often... Just if there's nothing else on. Sometimes when I get into an episode, if its good, I get hooked. But the cheesy red head makes me cringe...
Although I don't think much of the characters in CSI Miami I do find the crimes and investigating scenes interesting.
I enjoy some of the plot twists and the unpredictable endings. But I know some people can't handle the cheese... I don't mind it so much. It makes me laugh. But I wouldn't exactly buy a DVD of the show or anything. Its not worth paying for.
If there's nothing else on, watch it. If there's something better you can do with your time, go ahead. CSI Miami is just not worthy.
I love this show and yes i did say the same thing with heors as well but this show tops it all the time man could this show get any better cause i want to know big time it's like going on a thrill ride more then once but gets better ever time a big wow yo
a diffanent big wow this show keep you on the edge of your seat and keep you coming back for more eveytime and i hope they never have to cancle this show because this it more hotter then watching amercian idol and no affeic to that show it's just that american idol can make head for the hills with all those bad singers you know like how those who think they can sing but can't now this CSI: mimai is what you would cal a break from american idol where your ready to fall asleep this show keep you guessing to the end and like i said keep you coming back for more.
I only recently started watching Csi: Miami. A few months ago. I don't really like Natalia, she's so annoying at first she complained about her abusive husband then she started sleeping with him again. My favorite characters are Alex, Callie, and Speedle. I really hate that he got killed off. I liked him way better than Ryan. Ryan is so annoying and so loves the spotlight too much. And because of it has ruined a few cases. All in all a good show. I kind of want Delko and Callie to get together. For a while I thought they would but, now I kind of like the guy she's with now.
CSI: Miami had more action than CSI: Las Vegas. I don't know about New York becuase it isn't that good of a show. The "art style" with the colors and camera angles is great for the most part. The action is cool. The mystery keeps you thinking. The main character is a good character. This is a cool show, you should at least watch it once. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Before I was a fan but now I don't watch the show! Before I was a fan of this TV show but now I don't care about it! I think that if there is a TV show with 4 or 5 season it should be stopped! ( I think that Las Vegas should be stopped too! )
I think that this TV Show was awesome in the beginning of the second or in the thord season but now it isn't, so I think that it is " Complete waste of time " watching it! Sorry but now i like only " Heroes ", no other TV show can replace it for me!
Every night i see a new episode and i like more the TV show each time i see it...The all cast is amazing but Horatio, i really don't now wow can describe his personage in CSI Miami...is fabulous, i think David Caruso an amazing actor and his performance in CSI is the best! I like very much CSI L.V and CSI N.Y too but i think CSI Miami is the greatest! Now, don't you all agree with me?...the all cast are fabulous, they do the episodes became very real...don't you think so too? Love them...love CSI Miami...love all of them...always!
While not being in my top 5 shows, it is quite an interesting show. I was a major Tim Speedle fan and was disappointed when his character died off. I still maintained myself as a fan even in his absense. I also was feeling bad for Horatio after marisol was killed a couple seasons ago. I am now excited to see what goes on with his son he searched 16 years for. I saw the previews for tonight and it does seem interesting. I hope he doesnt get murdered or else that means Horatio will lose yet another important person in his life; eventhough he doesnt really know his son yet.
I absolutely love this show. The first time I watched it I really wasn't sure about it but the more I watched the more it sucked me in. Sometimes you just need a bit of something ridiculous and unrealistic in your life! I actually prefer this to the other two franchises, just the general feel of the show, particularly the location and the fact it's just so bright and glamourous. Sometimes the story lines and characters are a bit dodgy but they can easily be forgiven if you just leave your logic at the door. Horatio is the man! He'll stop at nothing to get the bad guy and is just so cool with his sunglasses on as he walks away from an explosion!! You couldn't get away with this in any other programme! Pure fantasy and escapism and that really is not such a bad thing. Loses points though because Eric and Calleigh haven't got it on yet!
Some people hate CSI Miami and I don't know why. It's the same stuff. Personally, I love Horatio Caine. Some-times the whole sunglasses move can be annoying but it's kinda funny sometimes. Some of the cases they do, are really good! The characters are fantastic. Like I said, it's all the same, just different cast, loaction, and crew. So, for me this show rocks. All the CSI's rock. I will never change my mind about them. Sure it might be cheesy some-times but it's still a good show! Even the effects they added is cool. Some-thing different. CSI Miami is one of my personal favourite.
Horatio is usually the one that save the day and the show would always ends with him… come on!!!! I hate it that Eric and Ryan doesn't get along. Yelina is the best actress and now she isn't even the show, just occasionally!!! I stopped watching it in season 4, can't believed I lasted that long!!! Even my friend who didn't think this show especially Horatio wasn't too bad but she stopped watching it before me. Any way because I'm in New Zealand they show it much slower then America and I saw the review for season 5, and the result was very funny. Beginning with season 5 the first episode was 7.7 out of 10, till the last episode of the season it was 5.1 out of ten!!! Normally the last episode is one of the best and they gave it a 5. lol that so funny. Through out that season there was only one 9 and that was 'no man's land' with 9.2.
At the end of season 4, we found out that Natalia is the mole, and then in season 5 she is cast as a regular member, wouldn't she get fired??? Go figure!!!
Hopefully season 6 is a good season. I know most of CSI Miami fans would disagree with me, but I'm really sorry, can't help it. I'm just saying my thoughts.
I must say, CSI: Miami is the absolute worst CSI. Unlike the original, which has still kept it's fire going for 7 seasons going on 8 due to the unique ways of using science to solve murders and the good characters or CSI: NY, which has interesting, bizarre murder cases which keep you guessing til the end. Heck, CSI: Miami is probably the worst crime drama on TV nowadays. First off, it's extremely unrealistic. I know with TV, there's suspension of disbelief to make the show interesting, but this is just ridiculous. For example, Delko would have been dead after 10 minutes getting shot in the head - but no, he survived! And was back on the job a few weeks after getting shot in the head. And Natalia, the mole should have been fired. But instead, she gets promoted to a full time CSI. This show portrays everyone in Miami to be rich and beautiful and the ways of solving the murders are completely unrealistic. Horatio is the most useless character - all he does is take off/put on his sunglasses, say cheesy one-liners over dead bodies and look 'cool' in his $1,000 dollar suits. His interrogation tactics are not very intimidating, yet the suspects just confess like he has some truth spell on them. I can't even remember the last time I saw Horatio actually working in the lab. Horatio is also the 'child whisperer'; somehow he gets the kids to confess what they saw and he comforts them - when he isn't a particularly nurturing figure. Another thing which bugs me is how the CSIs wear white to crime scenes and have their hair down, in real life it would contaminate evidence and be not admissible in court. Marisol had cancer but she looked completely healthy - what was up with that? And Horatio married her yet we had never seen them so much as kiss.
Some of the cases are so unrealistic, it insults our intelligence. I remember an instance where there were three triplets, accused of murdering one of the triplet's husband. The husband didn't even know his wife had two other identical sisters - I mean how can you not mention, or your relatives like your mom or dad, mention that you have two identical sisters? And the way Natalia discovered she had a twin/triplet was seeing a picture of the girl without a scar from the C-section.
The characters are so stereotypical not to mention stupid. Why is Horatio even the chief/supervisor? He does nothing. I can't even remember the last time I've seen him in the lab. Calleigh, the cute blonde who specializes in ballistics does everything and is more leader-like & influential that Horatio, we have the two cocky, arrogant 'hot' guys who are boring and simply follow Calleigh or Horatio's instructions & the weirdest character on the show, Alexx the ME. She talks to dead bodies like they're going to reply, calling them "baby" and "sugar". Makes me wonder if she's a friggin' necrophiliac. It's supposed to make her seem sweet & sympathetic but instead it just comes off as plain creepy. In all, a ridiculous show which I would recommend to see beautiful people, pretty scenery and a good laugh.
This is one of my most favorite shows of all time. My favorite character is Horatio. I like him because he sometimes appears out of no where. He does really good on his cases. It's one of my top 5 favorite shows. My second favorite charater is Delko because he is sometimes Horatio's partner. I watch the show every Saturday and Sunday but sometimes I miss it. On Mondays it's always one I've seen. I like it better than the orginal one because the other has more graphics and blood, and CSI: Miami doesn't. My favorite episode so far is Crime Wave.
This show is the best show ever! I wacth it every night and would not miss an episode for a million dollars. This is my favorite show and i think that it should be everyones favorite. Some people dont know what a real show is. You people just like to give it low ratings because u r computer junkies and dont bother to ge up and even wacth s little tv. So maybe you shoule try and get up off the computer chair. I guarantee that you will like it if you would just give it a chance instead of making assuming things!
Got season 1 on dvd. Since then I've been tempted to create a website named "I Hate Horatio Caine" to express my disgust with this show. Honestly, my favorite fantasy involving CSI is a season cliffhanged where CSI Miami gets hit with a bioterror attack, and Mr. Full-of-himself-creepy-Caine gets killed, and they have to bring in Catherine Willows as the new head of the department to take over. It would be awesome to have just one CSI lab *not* run by a white guy with a cute female sidekick, ya know? Just one, honest, it would be *so* nice. And a titch more realistic, since women are highly involved in the management and leadership of many CSI & forensics shops. So you have Creepy Caine, Hot Blonde with Guns Calie (could you get any more non-PC than that? Although I sort of like her, when she's not being CC's biggest fan), and the whackjob medical examiner - do not ever let a medical examiner talk to my dead body that way. I am nobody's sugar, thanks. (Ok, well, my husband's, but that's a different dynamic entirely.) I do sort of like the bobsey twins - a couple of hot sweetheart guys wandering around being smart? Oh yeah, I could keep them, their acting has sort of changed frmo posing and looking good to being a little more interesting - slow, but it's getting there, especially Speed (but I hear he doesn't stay on the show, which figures. He's the only one I really genuinely like.) But the rest just sort of overact their way along. The sad thing is, I'm so desperate for any entertaining tv to watch that I'll probably be getting the other seasons on DvD too.
I love the completely schlocky knock off drama CSI:Miami.
It ties into the Original series, but in a way that makes me feel like this is a parody. The acting is just a few degrees from believable. The catch phrase, which was always a corny bit of humor to relieve the tension of a crime scene in the original, is a trite biting farce in this next installment.
On the pro side, I really enjoyed the bikinis and the beautiful beaches....
On the real pro side, the action is griping, there is a solid storyline for the actors instead of a per-episode peek into their lives, you see a real character developing. I also love the fact that now there are two places for murders to happen and CSI to clean up.
I do not watch this often. However when I do I enjoy watching it very much. This is mainly because it always has ver good story lines which are not necisserily easy hard to follow but are very interesting. The plots are very detailed and it almost seems like the murder was real and you're just watching how they are solving it. They make it hard for you to guess who the murderer is which I find is a good thing as it makes you get more involved trying to find out. The casting is great as all the actors are very good at their roles and act as if they were real investigators. Deffinatly try and watch it as it is very good.
This show is the best CSI show at the moment. Horatio and his team of investigators are a great team when it comes to solving crimes and bringing the guilty suspects to justice. My mum doesn't like watching this programme but by the time she watch an episode, she's hooked!!!!!! Which really surprices me!!!!
I'm giving this programme a 10 out of 10 for a great show altogether!!!! My favourite parts of the show has got to be where the team actually finds DNA (because I find it very fasinating)!!!!
The cast were so awesome!!!! I just wish I was part of this show!!!!:):)
I truly enjoy watching CSI-Miami. It's very interesting, and exciting. I never really cared for David Caruso until I started watching CSI. After watching a few shows, I realized what an excellent actor he is. I feel he's a very talented actor. I have to admit, I was drawn to Adam Rodriguez at the beginning. Honestly, he's very sexy in my eyes. Overall, the whole set of CSI are very talented. The show gets better every season. CSI's definitely got my vote as being the number one crime show. CSI-Miami outweighs the other CSI shows. Las Vegas is number two. CSI-Miami Rocks!
Come on, he is not a MIAMI type of guy.. please.. I am a Miami Girl and let me tell you Miami Vice had a better lead american actor, i am not saying he is bad, but just not MIAMI type.. I think they should of put an american hunk to play that part or atleast an actative older man, but not him,...not an old man with red hair.. lots of my friends don't watch it because of him... come on how many red hair cops do you see in miami... again he is a good actor but not for this show..
csi miami my personal favorite of all time . This show i reccomend it to everyone , it's full with drama , action , and adventure it's about 5 forensic investigators of miami they save people from criminals , they are simply heroes in miami i love this show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how they act its perfect i think that everybody in the world should watch this great amazing show , i just cant stop talking about it .
i might just download it straight from utorrent to my laptop and see it without sleeping for a month , and just simply love it.
my fav show on TV , and the best of the 3 CSI's . I was a bit dissapointed when they killed off Speedle , i think he deserved a better death. and im not to crazy for his replacement charicter , Wolf , but all in all the show is awesome the cast is hot , the show is fast , sexy , and full of action , and mystery , with a little bit of drama thrown in .right now its the only show on T.V. that i hate to miss an episode . . . . Butterfly
Along with the beautiful sceneray in this show comes yet another crim drama that fails to hit the spot, once again you here the horrible wise cracks that come along with every bad thing you watch. As the seasons progress the fans grow increasingly tired of listening to Horatio but never seem to bore of his generous and selfless acts, once again hes a character that at sometimes you love and at others you just cant stand. Along with Horatio comes the beautiful Call Duschene who is played by emily Proctor and she is someone that isnt to bad to look at but fails to impress with her acting talents, once again brining down the slew of crime dramas that come across our television screens in the course of the week. Csi the original happens to outdo its sister show, which isnt all that surpirising at all. As New york progresses it will take over as the second best of the three and have alot better stories cause they dont always habve original stories in Miami, since the beginning they have been dealing with the death of Raymond, which doesnt seem to disapont cause they stck with it and wont give it up allthough it seems that they should, anyways csi miami wont be going anywhere for a couple of years and it might overstay its welcome for just a couple of years to long
