Unfortunately Delko's buying pot for his sister to help her with her cancer almost cost him his career. I never believed he was using and I am glad things worked out. Calliegh took back her lab which was great because that guy was an idiot. Bosworth really looked old. Stetler really has it bad for Horatio and the gang. What a sore looser. I mean just because he didnt get promoted and Horatio did. That happens all the time. Grow up!

The problem with CSI: Miami this season is that there is ever increasing focus on the investigaters particulary Horatio and Delko rather than the process and the solving of crime.

This week a two bit drug dealer rats out Delko when he is caught falling through the roof on top of a similary morally disinhibited drug dealer. First of all why does Delko insist on trying to deal with the problem himself when Horatio has proven himself intent of protecting his team no matter what the cost. Ricks involvement was necessary whilst a nuicence to Horatio, excellant entertainment for the viewer. Whilst Rick as a recurring character is not the most likable he takes the role of trying to keep the force on the straight and narrow. His role is uneviable but it is there for a reason.

Whilst the show tries to portray Horatio Caine as the Hero of the people here Horatio takes a morally questionable action for what is a firing offence for Delko. The maunverability of the American legal system and the whole thing with warrants and belivability of the witness means Delko escapes scott free by the skin of his teeth. Not even a reprimand. The murder mystery is buried under layers of Delko related sap. This episode doesn\'t do the story justice as too much screen time was about Delko.

A drug dealer is one top of the roof of a mans house that has been shot to death. We find out he's the dealer to Delko. Calleigh had the new "gun man" transfered because he wasn't cooperating. There were 2 shooters in the house. The second was outside. Delko is tested positive for THC. He has had contact to it from sitting with his sister while she smokes it b/c she's on Chemotherapy. Mr. Merrick says he didn't shoot the man and the felon did, but it was actually the exact opposite. The felon ran away from the bounty hunter.
  • A good one

A Good episode... finally we came to realize if Delko was using drugs or not....

Rick needs to find something to do with is life because this going after Horatio is getting tired...

A think his episode reflected a little what makes this CSI diferent from the other.... the conection to the family... and like it should be... Family come first!! Very Good
  • It was good, but I'm getting real sick of Stetler's crap. What DID Yelena see in this guy?!

Okay, let's think. A: Stetler pounded the CSIs because of Speed's killer awful gun maintenance, so to speak, B: He tried to get Ray Jr. arrested, C: He tries to get H or one of his guys fired every time, D: He got H arrested in "Under Suspicion" when there was no evidence at the scene as of yet, and E: He does everything in his power to get Delko arrested. I guess what I'm trying to say is IAB Nevins, fire his ass for God's sake! No wonder Yelena ran off to Rio!
  • Getting very tired of Rick and his problems.

The Rick plotline is getting very annoying. Overall this was a great episode. I'm glad Delco wasn't a drug user. Good to know his sister was the girl we saw in the last episode and not a girlfriend. I hated to think Delco was a bad person. Rick very much needs to go away.
  • An episode that any CSI: Miami fan wouldn't want to miss..

The mystery of Delko and the marijuana has been solved. When the episode first started and it came to light that Delko had been buying weed, I told my husband that I didn't know who the weed was for, but I knew he had to have been buying it for some medical reason. I loved how Horatio stands up for his team and doesn't back down to anyone. Calleigh took her lab back and it was good to see her with the guns again. Not too sure of Wolfe's eye though, that is another plot that is developing. All in all a great episode, all the actors did a wonderful job.
  • The last scene where Delko talks to Caine about the whole "episode" seals it. It reflects the real reason behind the power of the show.

The show starts with Horation and Frank checking out a crime scene. Little do they know that someone was hiding on the roof and he came crashing down. This roof guy lefts the bag of cats loose by telling Horatio that he's been dealing pot to Delko. After all that bullshit talk, as expected, IAB turns up. So there begins a 2 storey episode. While many of us wouldn't believe even for a slight moment that Delko was smoking pot given that Marissol had shown up in the hospital a few episodes earlier, the circumstances had been made in such a dire manner that it appears he is smoking the pot.

Skipping to the end, all the perps were caught and Delko was set free on the grounds that the investigation was a sketchy one.

Now my favourite part of this episode is the end. When Horatio talks to Eric about the drugs. This scene embodies the reason why we watch CSI instead of any Discovery Channel Crime Documentary. It is well-paced, full of lively emotions, warmth and most importantly a tinge of reality that we can relate to.

    Gripes :

-1 Draggy episode since it was quite clear that Delko wouldn't smoke pot and any "evidence" against him is bull.
  • An ace in the hole. Excellent job, guys!

Kept me on my toes the whole time, wondering about Delko and Wolfe keepin' their jobs... And Calliegh taking her lab back over...

Horatio plays an excellent type of character in this episode, a kind of cushion character, someone who needs to be there for the episode to work --- and he did an amazing job of it.

Caruso and the gang really put together a good one this week. Yay CSI Miami!
