Jesse: I was running a personal errand.
Calleigh: I don't believe you. I think you're hiding something, and I know because I have seen it before, and it's making me think I can't trust you.
Jesse: You can trust me.
Calleigh: Then stop lying to me.
Julian Diehl: Phoebe Nichols didn't want to perform anymore. So, what was I supposed to do? The show's gotta go on, right?
Horatio: Is that why you killed the replacement?
Julian Diehl: I didn't kill Vanessa.
Horatio: If Vanessa is revealed, Phoenicks becomes a late night joke. If Vanessa dies during performance, Phoenicks becomes a living legend.
Julian Diehl: And you really think I'm that callous?
Horatio: I think you're that greedy.
(Talking about Phoenix and her small dress)Walter: This dress is so tiny. She always look so much bigger on stage.
Ryan: Oh yeah, were you a Phoenix fan?
Walter: Weren't you?
Ryan: No Walter, I'm not an eleven-year-old girl.
This episode was based on Hannah Montana. A teen suddenly becomes a music sensation, but would rather just be herself. There were even similarities in Phoenick's pop star appearance with Hannah Montana's.
