Goof: On the first angle when the victims Claire Trinner and Jose Sambrano are being shot, they are covered in blood. However, when they are lying on the floor, just a tiny spot of blood is noticeable on his shirt.
Goof: When Claire Trinner and Jose Sambrano are lying dead, Claire's hand is open lying flat, but when the scene flashes to Frank and Horatio standing there, her hand is closed.
Goof: When Marisol is talking to Horatio in the begining of the episode, she mentions that she should be going back to work. This isn't possible, because in Shattered she mentions that she can't work anymore because of her cancer.
When the CSI's try and trace the origin of the blogger, they do a reverse lookup from the IP address and get an email address back. IP's don't resolve to email addresses, they resolve to servers.
Goof: Once again, they do an "IP address retrieval" and have it produce a number that cannot possibly be an IP address. The IP address "retrieved" is 310.260.613.0. The four subcomponents of IP addresses necessarily go from 0 to 255. There are NO POSSIBLE EXCEPTIONS to this, yet three of those numbers are greater than 255. The final digit being "0" is also odd, usually being reserved for something special called a "network number", but that might be valid depending on the network mask being used.
(Tracking down an IP-address from a blog) Cooper: First I have to track the e-mail address back to its server. I do that by using a base address. Ryan: Which is blog-daze.com. Cooper: Exactly. And we know that entries were made at 08:04, 09:56 and 12:20. I type in those entries... Ryan: (looking at the result) ... And that's the IP-address, right? Cooper: You catch on, that's cute.
Jim Trinner: (Being caught out having adulterous sex in his pool with his neighbor) I know this doesn't look good… Frank: Well, this is about as far from good as anything could look…
Horatio: Someone is missing from your list. Mario: I will die. Horatio: I am your last chance.
Ryan: So I failed organic, what the hell is that? (referring to the drug formula)
Frank: You were banging the neighbor lady and we call that "motive". (referring to Jim Trinner) Horatio: Yes we do.
Frank: Nice business dress. Probably on a break and got caught in the crossfire. Horatio: That's what happens when worlds collide.
Ryan: (on looking like Jake Gyllenhaal) It's in the eyes. I get it all the time. Eric: You get it in the eyes all the time?

The secretary writing the blog says that Delko looks like A. Rod the baseball player. This statement has double meaning because the actor that plays Delko real name is Adam Rodriguez thus making him A. Rod.
In the company blog in this episode Wolfe and Delco are referred to as The Hardy Boys. The Hardy Boys are Frank and Joe Hardy. They are amateur detectives and brothers in the popular teen novels written by Franklin W. Dixon. Franklin W. Dixon is the pen name of several authours working for the Stratemeyer Syndicate.
