Worst episode in a bad season. Diddy makes his return, wearing a "hello my name is 'Good Guy'" name tag this time to remind him how to act. Oh yeah, and some girl that no one, including her fiance, seem to care about gets shot on a boat.
Someone might want to tell Diddy that the emotion you are searching for when your fiance is killed is "sad". His only 2 acting modes appear to be smiling, and not smiling. Hint, if you don't care that your fiance is dead, why should we? And Emily Proctor, the only cast member with any actual acting props, can't even pull off that Calleigh would have any interest in Eric. This show is really circling the drain this season. Skip all shows with Diddy in them, and if Calleigh and Eric are a couple, pull the plug on the whole series.
This episode is exactly why I watch this series, personally this is one of my favorite episodes of the series, even though every other episode in the series was perfect to. This episode starts are with a robbery on a boat, but then shifts to Eric meeting his father. After Eric meets his father he is placed in prision for not being a legal United States citizen, because he is from Cuba (even though if you are cuban and get to u.s. you are allowed to stay). Erics father says that he owes eric nothing, but he eventually comes around and helps to get Eric out of jail. We also see some growing of the relationship between Eric and Caleigh
I have been waiting for this episode the come about since last season. Eric finally finds out who his father really is and tho he hates his father in the beginning, finds out he comes to his aid and keeps him in the United States. But the best part of the show was Eric and Caliegh finally coming to terms with their feeling for each other. Their acting was so real it makes you wonder hmmmm. And of course H is always there to help when ever one of his own is in need of his expertise. That is why I watch this specific show. The players become intertwined with each other and a bond is built accordingly.
I loved this episode! Calleigh and Eric's first real kiss! after 7 years!
i was really pleased with all the actors in this episode, Sean Combs wasn't too bad this week either.
Eric finally found out the truth about his father and where he came from. i loved the fact that Derek Powell stood up for Eric about his credibility as a CSI.
The icing on the cake was definitely Calleigh picking Eric up from jail after his fun-in with the feds and taking him back to her place for an american meal because he's new in the country *cute*.
Doesn't suprise me that Calleigh has the safest house in Miami, its full of guns! What more could a bullet girl ask for?? Can't wait for next week!
A yacht party being thrown by arrogant defense attorney Derek Powell is disrupted when the party is robbed by a man and a woman and Powell's fiancee is shot and killed. To make matters worse, Delko is imprisoned by INS jeopardizing the investigation.
This episode is certainly better than the previous episode Sean Combs guested on. Combs redeems himself to a certain degree giving a better performance than his initial outing (though it's not too much better). This episode is well written and is quite entertaining, but the dramatic scenes (especially those between Derek and his father) seem a little too contrived to be believed. How the murder investigation ultimately turns out is one of the more positive things to say about this episode. As far as the impending romance between Calleigh and Delko, that remains to be seen. Chemistry is a factor.
well, the mean lawyers fiance gets killed on a boat and the people that stole the jewlry also stole dereks computer and got delko detained by the feds because they found out he wasnt born in the u.s ! the lawyer wasnt so mean after all .
a m a z i n g ! ! =D Eric and Calleigh finally kiss [on the lips] !
The cast of this show is super !
I liked Sean Combs in this one, he makes a good lawyer. Ryan on the other hand is dumber than a rock. I cannot stand his character. Just thought i'd add that in here. b u t , f e r r e a l, this is, by far,
t h e b e s t e p i s o d e
e v e r ! Eric and Calleigh are both wonderful characters and Horatio too !
Natalia cracked me up when she started acting all though. i love her !
I felt the episode started with bit of a drag and picked up when Yelina was commissioned to kill Delko. By the way, anyone else noticed that Sofia Milos hasne't been on the show in a while? The part with Powell having Delko's birth certificate was a nice twist, ad it was interesting to hear what it was he had planned to do with it. But of course, because his laptop was stolen, the information that was on it was put in the wrong hands, meaning that our golden boy (NOT A RACIST REMARK) is a some ig trouble.
I had some trouble unerstanding what Delko's father being born in Mexico had to do with him being a US citizen. I didn't think it mattered what the parents were as long as you were the citizen of your current country of resedence?
Delko meeting his father was well played out, and I liked the part when he punched the him in the face, knocking out his tooth. Interesting piece of knowledge there. I never knew that you could get the place where somebody lived as an adolescent from the enamel in their teeth! Great to see Horatio and Calleigh in the lab together. Those two haven't been in the same shot together in who knows how long.
Wonderful ending. My friend and I were debating on whether or not it would be a good thing if Delko and Calleigh ever got together, and now this season and following ones are going to prove it. It was a nice kiss.
Can't wait for next week's episode, looks interesting.
Well, this episode was a really good one. As this season, the seventh season has, been pretty weak so far. Despite some good episodes, including this one. Eric gets busted by Immigration over. His forged birth certificate. As a threat is, made on his life. We try to see, the team clear his name. With someone, seeking revenge on Eric. P Diddy, I am no fan of. As well as others, on this board. But he did a great job and for once. Was on the good guy's side. Only time will tell if he stays on that side, or not. Finally we get to see the kiss, of E/C shippers wanted and hoped for. Calleigh's house is full of guns! Very funny as anybody could guess, how many guns the bullet girl, as she is nicknamed. Has there.
It was lovely to see so many familiar faces in this episode, Yelina, Derek and Erics father. I liked how the episode tied up all the loose ends involving Eric being an illegal alien. The episode went from strength to strenght, with it starting of when 2 people came onto Derek's boat and stole his laptop containing files about Eric, how Yelina was the one hired to kill Eric. It was good to see such a developed storyline this week and my favourite scene, the kiss between Eric and Calliegh, Finally i have been waiting for the last 3 seasons for that to happen
This was a wonderful surprise. I thought the script was really well thought out and written. The return of Derek Powell was the icing on the cake. We knew the confrontation between Delko and Sharova was coming, unfortunately Eric is left with more questions than answers. Okay, Delko in an orange jumpsuit is just wrong. I really liked the underwater sequences which was a nice switch considering it's Miami. It was a great twist to see Derek on the right side and even helping Delko despite the fact his fiance was murdered in a fit of revenge. I loved the scene when Gardner reveals he used Delko's birth certificate to exact his plot to get even. But the greatest twist is that Eric is and always has been an American Citizen. I am in full agreement with Derek's speech. I LOVED the final scene with Calleigh and Eric, it what fans have been waiting for, so thanks. I hope Derek aka Sean Combs takes Horatio up on his offer, it would be great to see him back, even if it's just periodically.
