  • This episode is quite graphic and upsetting especially to younger viewers.

As much as my family and I love CSi: Miami, this one was hard for us to watch. The first time it came on, I had to leave the room because it was so graphic when the team entered the house. I did rent it because I wanted to see it all the way through. For futher episodes, I would rather not see dead children although, unfortunately, we do see it in reality.

in this ep of csi miami the toddler is seen walking down the street with blood all over . they and investgate and find a home with a family murderd . they start to due a back round check on the family and they learn that this was a very disfunctional family were the mother stayed at home with the kids and the father was away and the older son had to bring home food and take care of the kids. thing was they learn from every thing they think the mother did it buy the way she was positioned but they were wrong they later learned the son old son came home found some murderd and when he was home the shooting had already started and he ran tried to take the little kid and put him in the dog house and tried fighting back but died. and they later pin it to the father . who was the one that went crazy .
  • Post-partem depression. A mom on the edge. A 6 month-old child. A shotgun.

Confusing at first, but wraps up very nicely. In the beginning you are almost SURE that the mom has finally snapped and murdered her family, before turing the gun on herself. But, a MAJOR plot twist leaves you wondering, Was this really the work of a mom? Or did a dad mixed with sleepless nights lead to this? It kept me on the edge of my seat right up to the 42nd minute! The writers were definitely aware of a common problem and read up on their facts. DEFINITELY a great, very realistic, touching reminder of what your very own hectic house may be like.

A young girl is found walking alone with blood all over her. Someone close to her was either dead or dying. She had a sunburn on one side of her facemeaning she had been walking in one direction. The girls bloody footprints and soil on the bottom of her feet lead them to where they are located. The boy was home sick. Amonia was on the gun cabinet door. Mom was depressed and believed to have shot her family. Luke put the baby in the doghouse. The baby had gravatational drops on him and thus the dad was the shooter.
  • Incredibly difficult subject matter - a whole family (almost) gunned down - but one of the best episodes and it shows how good CSI is as a show.

I realise others have found this a difficult episode to watch, especially as it involves dead children - but really that is the point. It's meant to be horrendous. Even the beginning, as a toddler wanders down the street with her feet obviously covered in blood is very disturbing.

The discovery of the rest of her family, all of whom have been shot, only one who stands a chance of survival, is brilliantly done. Again I take my hat off to the networks for showing some incredibly graphic scenes. You used to have to rent Friday the 13th to see this kind of stuff - not that I'm suggesting they should be everywhere, but if we're talking about a murdered family, then it's important to show that guns cause a heck of a lot of damage. Bit of SPOILER coming up

I'm not going to reveal, but It's not too difficult to work out the actual culprit of what's gone on if you're used to knowing there's likely to be a twist, but I did like the final revelation and then the even better revelation where a possible insanity plea is shown to be nothing like it, but actually a premediated plan.

Very satisfying, very sad - overall a great episode, but not one to watch while you're having dinner!
  • Every series has that 1 special episode that either just gets you hooked or reminds you why you watch it every week.

Every series has that 1 special episode that either just gets you hooked or reminds you why you watch it every week. When they decided to do a spin off from the very successful CSI, i was a little skeptical about it. Alas my skepticism was spot on aftter watching the first few episodes. I had almost decided to do away with Miami and stick with Vegas until i saw this episode. Now after being through 3 seasons, i still continue to watch Miami and i still think this episode is the best.

The way the suspicion is shifted throught the show is done intelligently, and when the killer is unvieled at the end, everything makes sense and the plot remains plausible. The twist at the end is very well constructed, and is not just there for the sake of it. Excellent episode. One of the best out of all the CSI shows.
  • Excellent episode characterising the hope that exists within our community now.

I think that this was definitely one of the best episodes of CSI: MIAMI. It appealed to me as part of the audience, mainly I think because I can relate to family [not the killing each other bit exactly, but the problems that arise within families]. As well as I think the casting was done particularly well. My favourite part of this episode was their betrayal of the older brother’s protection of his younger sister – particularly while in the community we see a lot of how many boys seem to be going off the rails and how this generation have no manners or chivalry. The heart warming ideas that throughout the horrid events that there was a decent family who loved one another made the episode stand out.
