In this episode of CSI Miami the following happens. Calliegh and Wolfe head out to a crime scene and ends up inside of the house when it catches on fire. They manage to escape and take the dead body with them. During an interview with a possible suspect, Callieghs breathing becomes worse and she collapses into Erics arms. She is then rushed to the hospital, where she and Eric are met by Alex (their former M.E.). It really doesnt look good for Calliegh. The team soon learn that the John Doe was a doctor, who also was addicted to heroin. Wolfe sends Eric the photo of the John Doe so that he can try and find someone at the hospital who knows him. Before he leaves he puts his watch on Callieghs arm. The team soon learn that the Doctor was stealing human organs. The team soon learn that one of the donors killed the doctor. Back at the hospital, we see Calliegh coming round and as she looks at her arm, she knows Eric has been there for her. We then jump forward in time, and Eric has returned to Callieghs room in the hospital. When she comes round, we learn that she could hear Eric as she was in her coma like state, and she heard everything he said to her. She asks him to stay with her and he says he will for as long as she wants him too. At the end of the episode H and Alex have a chat about how things have changed and she invites him over for dinner with her family, to catch up.moreless

Great episode with multiple crimes tied together. First off Calleigh and Ryan are investigating a call about a bad smell coming from a house. They look around and it isn't until Ryan goes up in the attic that the body is found. They hear someone come into the house and start shooting through the ceiling at them and then catches the house on fire. Calleigh and Ryan barely escape but not before the damage is done.

The dead body that was found is a John Doe at this point, but it was determined that he was shooting heroin between his toes.

Later on while interrogating a suspect Calleigh begins to uncontrollably cough and then cant breath. She gets rushed to the hospital and is hooked up to a machine to help her breath; she is unconscious.

Another suspect is interrogated whose business card was found partially burned at the scene. He says he was only there looking for a deal on real estate.

They get a hit on the gun that was used to shoot through the ceiling at them. The gun belonged to a man name Ricky Gannon, who was also a heroin dealer. He confesses to shooting at Ryan and Calleigh and setting the house on fire. He identifies the dead man as "doc" because he is a doctor and gives him pharmacy drugs for heroin.

The dead man is identified as Dr. Donald Phelps. The investigation takes them to a large room with an operating table and traces of blood. After further investigation the CSI's determine that Dr. Phelps had been performing inlegal organ transplants.

One of the first people that the CSI's interviewed was brought back in because his fingerprints were on the case that transported the kidney that was transplanted into a man who died during the surgery. He told the CSI's where the body was.

The Medical Examiner was able to retrieve a piece of the transplanted kidney from the body of the failed operation. They ran the DNA through the system and it came back to the man whose business card they had found in the house where the original man was killed.
He had sold his kidney for transplant to someone else and his surgery was botched as well. He killed Dr. Phelps out of anger for messing up his surgery.

In the end Calleigh wakes up and Delco is the first person she sees. I think this sealed the deal between them.

This was a great episode with different crimes; murder, drug dealing, attempted murder, arson, and illegal organ trafficking all tying together to solve the murder.moreless

  • Calleigh and Ryan are called to a house. When they get there they go into the attic and find a body. While they're up there, somebody comes in, locks them up there, shoots at them, then sets the place on fire. Ryan is fine but Calleigh inhaled too much.moreless

Absolutely, by far, the best episode yet. It was amazing. Character developement was great. The storyline was pretty good too, although it seemed kind of unrealistic. I liked the return of Alexx in this episode. She was a great character and a wonderful part of the show. It just doesn't seem right without her, but she did play a terrific doctor. Horatio seemed kind of gone in this one, like he didn't really care as much as usual but i still love this show and all the characters in it. I do think it would be pretty interesting if Alexx came back for her old job out of nowhere. I hope next week can live up to the hype of this episode.moreless

    "Great"
I will start by saying it was great to have Alexx back, even if it is for just one episode. She was a great character on the show and she has been missed. Aside from that there are other reasons why this episode is one of the better ones of the season so far. It has a very well written script, great suspense and great performances all around. Some of the scenes where Delko is expressing his love for Calleigh are a little goofy, but that is a minor flaw that is more than made up for. Very good episode.moreless

  • Really great episode, and Eric shows feelings, for Calleigh!

This season, really hasn't gone that well. Most of it, has to do with the absence, of Dr Alexx Woods. Really everybody has missed her, talking with the dead. As though, that they were alive. Sure I like, the new person. But nobody can, ever take the place, of my Alexx. Glad to see her back, on one episode. Calliegh and Ryan are fighting for their lives. As a kid, nearly caught fire on them. Calliegh inhales way, too much smoke. And gets sent to the hospital. Despite the kid, it is the doctor that is the real villian. Who wants heroin. Eric really caring about Calliegh, and finally showing his true feelings for her. Hopefully, that will end up. Somewhere and somehow along the lines. Both would make, an awesome couple.moreless
