A young teenager is pulled over by an officer to help her. He picked up a hooker to get background info on a few cars that have been missing. The hooker tips off the guy where he goes and robs the car. The cop talked the hooker into calling him first. She did in deed. He caught him trying to steal the car and the guy panicked and shot and killed the officer. The man who's car was jacked would not help the officer because he was afraid he would get into trouble for buying a hooker. Very Good Example.moreless
I missed most of this episode but the bits that I watched made me regret missing it. It looked like a great episode, and it looks like it's going to get even more interesting before the 2nd season is over.
So Horatio is being investigated, how cool, now I just want to know why. It's about time something more interesting happened to him other than posing with his hands on his hips & taking his sunglasses off then putting them on again. I think I'm gonna like seeing more of Rick, especially now that he's dating Yelina (loved the look on Horatio's face when he saw them together at the end) I can't wait for the next episode.moreless
A good episode... the batle between Horatio and Rick (Internal Affairs) when we learn at the end of the episode that he is investigating Horatio... we know have permission to deslike him :) The two cases of the day where quite... the reality off some illegal emigrants that think that they have to submit to other people just because they don't have the pappers.... The cop... a classical case for CSI ... very good :Dmoreless
Goof: In the last scene, before Yelina steps into the elevator, you can see that she presses the button after the doors already started to open.
Edit
Goof: Horatio says, "A .22 (caliber gun) is registered to Gary Nielson's wife." Florida law neither requires nor provides a method to register handguns. Florida does issue a "Concealed Weapon or Firearm License" which legally permits the licensee to carry a handgun concealed, but application for the license does not require divulging any information about the gun.

(Horatio inquires about a prostitute witness)Horatio: What's her name?
Gary: Like they give you the real one.
Speed: We'll take a fake one and a location.
Edit
Speed: Somebody left DNA?
Valera: 3 "Somebodies".
Speed: You're kidding me.
Valera: First donor was female: saliva, she's a gum chewer.
Speed: Are there any CODIS hits?
Valera: Nada!Speed: Right, how about the other two "somebodies"?
Valera: Not saliva, not female.
Speed: I guess we weren't the only one who got lucky.
Valera: You shouldn't say that, male sample got trapped inside the gum, I'm guessing she chewed it... mmm after.
Speed: Right, she's living dangerously.
Edit
(Horatio finds out Det. Salas is dating IAB Rick Stetler)Horatio: Wow!
Det. Salas: Me and Stetler huh?
Horatio: When did that happen?
Det. Salas: He asked me out, I said yes, that's usually how it works.
