- The IP address given for AstroBoi (68.34.18.211) is a real valid IP address assigned to Comcast Cable Communications Inc. Generally when IP addresses are usd on TV shows, they are deliberately invalid (eg one of the numbers is above 255) much like a 555 phone number. These invalid IP addresses are often noted as goofs (see the season 4 episodes Prey and Silencer for example)

- The character of T.J. Pratt is a sex offender. On CSI NY there was a sex offender named D.J. Pratt.

- Goof: The car's airbags would have deployed upon the first impact with the victim, much less the second. But when the car was found, there was no sign of the airbag being deployed.

- Goof: In the hit and run case, the car is identified because of an imprint made by the vehicle's front license plate. In Florida, cars do not have state-issued front license plates (only rear ones). This is not the first time that this mistake has been made. Blood Moon and Tinder Box are two examples.
